Where to stay with pets in Murnau

I would like to visit this hotel again on vacation with my family and truly enjoy this hotel

All the small details from the smell of the lilies in the lobby, to the amazing outdoor sauna and spa facilities. Plus the free mini bar, welcome champagne and private terrace. Restaurant and breakfast was top quality

The staff are also amazing - so flexible, polite and helpful. For example they drove us to the train station and posted something I left at the hotel within days and free of charge. Will definitely be returning

Fantastic very eco friendly hotel with a great spa and very friendly staff. Lovely renovated rooms and fantastic breakfast offering. Perfect for a short break with or without kids and dog.

The staff was incredibly attentive, they created an atmosphere that was chique but not too stiff (which can easily happen in these kind of places), the wellness area was huge, we didn‘t even manage to check everything out, and the food was out of this world, every dinner exeeded our expectations again

Stayed here for 3 nights for a business trip. The room was large enough and comfortable. There was a bathtub, but unfortunately it was broken so I couldn't use it

There's nothing bad to say about it. The beer is even better, you have to have the helles. If you get to talk to the brew master Wolfgang he is a great guy

Parking sometimes full, but it always worked out in the end. Wifi also works very well, which is important if you are from abroad

This Hotel is managed with love. They take care of you and your needs like a homecoming guest. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is top in Murnau just in the center

There is no elevator in the hotel but its only 2 floors and while there is not any air condition you can always ask for a fan. I would definately stay there again if I visit Murnau and definitely recommend it to others

The Hotel Post garni is a historic hotel in the center of Murnau. I was especially eager to stay there because of its associations with the playwright Ödön von Horváth. The rooms were lovely and spacious

I just want to offer praise where it is deserved. I stayed only one night, but should I have need I will choose to stay here again. Great staff, delicious breakfast and right in the middle of town

Very friendly and helpful service at the check in counter by Ms Schön. Her suggestions for activities were perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and the excellent breakfast

A true gem on the highest point of Murnau. A magical, exclusive atmosphere that will be remembered forever. Marrying here is extraordinary and very personal. The area is protected and yet not detailed

The garden is simply gorgeous and the wedding ceremony under oak trees could not be more romantic. Really authentic, different and unique. I'm looking forward to the next time

Breakfast had to be taken in the nearby Boutique Hotel Angerer. In return, the breakfast was plentiful, typically Bavarian and very tasty! The price for 7 nights was reasonable and customary for the location

We, 2 adults, 2 children (7 and 17 years) and a dog (Goldi) were in Murnau in August 2020 and spent 7 nights in the Aparthotel Werdenfels in the “Alpenpanorama” suite

One of the best and most wonderful places in Mernau in terms of location, tranquility and cleanliness

The spacious courtyard invites you to chill out: the big ones can enjoy the sun on the sun loungers or on the lawn, the little ones can run around in the playground, a covered seating area is ideal for picnics or barbecues

Especially during pandemic, I feel really comfortable with the measurements they took, mask in the hotel, gloves at the breakfast buffet, distancing and individual time slots allocated to 2 maximum people at the sauna area

The location in the village is very quiet and only a few hundred meters from the "center". We will be back, especially because of the rich and high quality breakfast

We stayed at this hotel for 8 days. The service was very good, the breakfast excellent. The room was of a good standard, as was the bathroom, if a little on the small side

We spent 8 glorious days and 7 nights in the Alpen Studio that had very comfortable beds with an amazing view of the Bavarian majestic mountains from our balcony

I was there in July 2022 for 2 nights with my family. The bathroom was clean and the hairdryer was able there. Furthermore, breakfast was very tasty. As for the owners, they were very friendly and helpful

Everything is within close proximity making it easy to get around to all the wonderful places you may want to visit, especially taking in the Kurs, Moors & hiking

🛏 Decent sized bathroom🛁 and a mini-fridge, and we had a little balcony to take in a more panoramic view🏞 of the amazing view of the mountains

Great for a vacation with small children. Lots of animals to see, and pet, very nice playground next to the house and 5min on foot an adventure playground as well

They were always at our side with tips on the region and gastronomy, as well as sights. We were able to get to know and observe the many different animals that live on the farm in an uncomplicated way

There are excellent hiking trails in the region. Other activities are of course also possible. The town itself also offers some activities. We will keep the Kohlerhof in a very good memory

I was in Johannesbad for a short break. Very nice rooms, good comfortable beds, safe, minibar, etc. Fantastic, rich breakfast buffet. Very nice, friendly and courteous owners, always available for a chat

Very good food and family owned atmosphere. My room was very nice and I also like the pool and sauna area. You have the choice of a take away lunch instead of breakfast

We had a very nice stay at the HoFer Hotel, which we will not soon forget. We came as a family with 2 children, including a dog. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the breakfast varied

Super nice and courteous staff! Very warm atmosphere with unexpectedly modern rooms! The proximity to the Hörnle-Bahn is ideal! Dogs are also welcome (and not just tolerated)

We also used the sauna in bad weather. The owners were very courteous, friendly and competent with questions about excursion destinations

We got a room on the ground floor with a terrace and on arrival a dog blanket and a bowl were already in the room

Typical winter Bavarian hotel, you can have a sauna after the cold day, and if you'd like a beer at the evening simply go down in the restaurant

It's ok I guess because there was NO wifi even though they advertise it it is a very weak signal and the food was pretty good

Very clean! good breakfast! However, pool, sauna, game room close at 1900. All local restaurants prefer reservations.

The landlord was a friendly amiable man who spoke good English so communication was a breeze. The room was spacious, clean and neat although the bathroom could be better

This inn was halfway between the castle and the ski town of Garmisch Parten-Kirchen and you can easily reach the mountains from here too

I highly doubt we would return to this area again but if we do, we'd definitely start here again. I'd highly recommend it everyone

We stayed here as it was near the mountains and offered a less expensive alternative to the hotels around Neuschwanstein Castle

Firstly, the Staff, very hospitable, friendly and helpful. The Sauna was amazing, we paid extra for the private sauna and it was very nice. plenty of parking and in a good location to see all kinds of beautiful nature

5km long sleigh hill which you can ride down 🙌🏽 The food for the region is very hearty and filling from home made Spätzle to Schnitzel you can eat anything your hear desires st their in house restaurant

This is a great Hotel to stay if you want to explore the region of the Ammergau Alps. The service at the hotel is impeccable and the people of the region are very friendly to tourists

You will start your day with an amazing breakfast buffet and then you can either hike the Alps, hit the slopes or relax at the Spa!!! We will be back again soon!
