It has plenty of atmosphere and the beer is great. Each morning we really enjoyed the continental breakfast in their breakfast room; everything was fresh and delicious

Brewery has some of the best beer I’ve ever had! Highly recommend the wurst and pretzel appetizer! The service is amazing. Very friendly and informative people. They care about your time there. Will definitely be back.

Amazing breakfast and super clean, large rooms! Wide shower and well provisioned bathroom. It was a nice walk to the city center and we enjoyed the open field with the sheep across from the hotel.

A hot Gluhwein on tap in the afternoons and the fireplace rounds off a luxurious stay. Breakfast from 8-10am is diverse and high quality. Rooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean

Typical winter Bavarian hotel, you can have a sauna after the cold day, and if you'd like a beer at the evening simply go down in the restaurant

It's ok I guess because there was NO wifi even though they advertise it it is a very weak signal and the food was pretty good

You really felt very comfortable in the Alpenpark. The location is perfect; You can walk to the Kochelsee and after a short drive to the Walchensee

Firstly, the Staff, very hospitable, friendly and helpful. The Sauna was amazing, we paid extra for the private sauna and it was very nice. plenty of parking and in a good location to see all kinds of beautiful nature

We had to leave quite early each morning and Mia was kind enough to prepare us a takeaway breakfast which was very decent of her. On the day we did eat breakfast at the hotel, I thought the choice and quality was good

I asked if I could change rooms as someone next to me was a bit noisy and this was no trouble at all. The second room I stayed in was also great. Overall, we stayed for 5 nights and were very happy with our choice

The honor system for the alcoholic beverage was great, allowing lower cost (2. Sauna was open every night on request (to save on energy) and available to rent as private spa anytime outside normal hours (17h-21h)

Beautiful setting in Oberammergau, this hotel is in a perfect location to walk all over the town. Hiking trailing are close by and you can even walk to Ettal Monastery if you are motivated

Our daughter unfortunately got a little sick during our stay which caused a bit of a mess in our room. The staff were incredible quickly replacing our sheets and bedding so that we were 100% comfortable

Even with being a small hotel, the services offered were amazing - including having laundry services available for us at a critical point in our trip. We will not hesitate staying here again on our next visit to Ettal

The place is well located in the small village of Ettal and they have a parking lot too. We had a sunny balcony with nice views. Moreover you can leave your bikes in the garage of the owner

Even I was a bit late for check in because of mu tracking, the nice hotel stuff organised everything for me before and I could go to the room and do all the paper work in the morning, after nice breakfast you could go and see the little town with the amazing scenery

We stayed for one night last year in May and had a wonderful experience at the Posthotel Ettal. It is a beautifully appointed small hotel with excellent service and a great breakfast

First off, they gave me a guest pass that allows me to take the bus to, from, and around Garmisch, Partenkirchen, and Farchant for free, secondly, the hotel staff has been amazing with readily available advice and assistance, and thirdly, the view is beautiful! Admittedly, many hotels in the Alps area have a similar view but the combination makes this stay a five star

I was a little apprehensive staying outside of Garmisch and having to use public transportation but the Richard Strauss Festival was happening in Garmisch and this hotel was the only one I could find under €150 per night

There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad

His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho

Its a 450 year old hotel so you don't have air conditioning. But they do give fans. Otherwise it is beautiful. You are living in history. Service is great. The location is amazing!
