The staff was incredibly attentive, they created an atmosphere that was chique but not too stiff (which can easily happen in these kind of places), the wellness area was huge, we didn‘t even manage to check everything out, and the food was out of this world, every dinner exeeded our expectations again

A very relaxing part of the world; surrounded by meadows, mountains and lakes. Sheer tranquility! The piano player was brilliant (although he does not play every evening)

The property itself is stunning, with heated indoor and outdoor pools that made for a relaxing and luxurious experience, even in the chill of winter

Every meal in the dining room felt like a celebration, with impeccable service and dishes that were as beautiful as they were delicious. Tea time was a delightful highlight, adding a cozy touch to our afternoons

This Hotel is managed with love. They take care of you and your needs like a homecoming guest. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is top in Murnau just in the center

This is a very nice family-run hotel in a great location. People are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. Highly recommend!

There is no elevator in the hotel but its only 2 floors and while there is not any air condition you can always ask for a fan. I would definately stay there again if I visit Murnau and definitely recommend it to others

The Hotel Post garni is a historic hotel in the center of Murnau. I was especially eager to stay there because of its associations with the playwright Ödön von Horváth. The rooms were lovely and spacious

I just want to offer praise where it is deserved. I stayed only one night, but should I have need I will choose to stay here again. Great staff, delicious breakfast and right in the middle of town

Very friendly and helpful service at the check in counter by Ms Schön. Her suggestions for activities were perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and the excellent breakfast

A true gem on the highest point of Murnau. A magical, exclusive atmosphere that will be remembered forever. Marrying here is extraordinary and very personal. The area is protected and yet not detailed

The garden is simply gorgeous and the wedding ceremony under oak trees could not be more romantic. Really authentic, different and unique. I'm looking forward to the next time

Amazing breakfast and super clean, large rooms! Wide shower and well provisioned bathroom. It was a nice walk to the city center and we enjoyed the open field with the sheep across from the hotel.

Would give this food 10 out of 5 if I could. food was amazing had the kebab plate and baklava to finish absolutely amazing!!! Could not recommend this place enough. Please visit this place when you’re here

A hot Gluhwein on tap in the afternoons and the fireplace rounds off a luxurious stay. Breakfast from 8-10am is diverse and high quality. Rooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean

This is a beautiful hotel right next to train & bus station, short 5 minutes walk to Passion Theatre and centre of town and a mini mart at the petrol station opposite the hotel (which opens till 10pm while we were there)

We came for the Passion Play and Erol & Petra made us feel so at home. The place itself was excellent

We stayed one night during our visit to Oberramergau, Ettal and Linderhof castle. The place was very easy to find. There are enough park spaces on both sides of the building. The host was very friendly and positive

Andrea is always so gracious to help you with anything you might need and is great about emailing you back so your stay is very comfortable. Her English is wonderful and she has such patience and knowledge

I was there in July 2022 for 2 nights with my family. The bathroom was clean and the hairdryer was able there. Furthermore, breakfast was very tasty. As for the owners, they were very friendly and helpful

We stayed there for one night. Everything went smoothly even though we arrived late in the evening. Rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious and our host was very kind.

Great for a vacation with small children. Lots of animals to see, and pet, very nice playground next to the house and 5min on foot an adventure playground as well

There are excellent hiking trails in the region. Other activities are of course also possible. The town itself also offers some activities. We will keep the Kohlerhof in a very good memory

The fact that you sometimes hear a cow or the wind whistles at night is also part of it and should not be missed on a farm holiday. The breakfast offered was varied and sufficient

I was in Johannesbad for a short break. Very nice rooms, good comfortable beds, safe, minibar, etc. Fantastic, rich breakfast buffet. Very nice, friendly and courteous owners, always available for a chat

Very good food and family owned atmosphere. My room was very nice and I also like the pool and sauna area. You have the choice of a take away lunch instead of breakfast

Typical winter Bavarian hotel, you can have a sauna after the cold day, and if you'd like a beer at the evening simply go down in the restaurant

It's ok I guess because there was NO wifi even though they advertise it it is a very weak signal and the food was pretty good

Very clean! good breakfast! However, pool, sauna, game room close at 1900. All local restaurants prefer reservations.

You really felt very comfortable in the Alpenpark. The location is perfect; You can walk to the Kochelsee and after a short drive to the Walchensee

The view of the mountains is fantastic! Probably the network and the WLAN are not working properly, but that is not a problem at all, since you are on the road all day anyway!

A very nice host who also places special emphasis on hygiene in Corona times. The only minor criticism: there is no possibility to darken in the bedroom

Firstly, the Staff, very hospitable, friendly and helpful. The Sauna was amazing, we paid extra for the private sauna and it was very nice. plenty of parking and in a good location to see all kinds of beautiful nature

5km long sleigh hill which you can ride down 🙌🏽 The food for the region is very hearty and filling from home made Spätzle to Schnitzel you can eat anything your hear desires st their in house restaurant

This is a great Hotel to stay if you want to explore the region of the Ammergau Alps. The service at the hotel is impeccable and the people of the region are very friendly to tourists

You will start your day with an amazing breakfast buffet and then you can either hike the Alps, hit the slopes or relax at the Spa!!! We will be back again soon!

New opening in 2020, warm welcome, great rooms, service 1 A. During the day always drinks on site. Enough restaurants in town for the evening. Enough parking spaces, also for e-cars

Awesome little Inn-stayed in the family suite for a few nights in December and the staff and manager did everything to make the stay relaxing and easy

They provided us with packed lunch to take on our ski trip-provided tea, coffee, milk in our rooms when we requested. The building is beautiful-not outdated, clean and fresh with a rustic bavarian feel

Nice room, small toilet with shower (not bath). We have a balcony with a nice view of the city. The breakfast was good with different varieties of fruit and baked everyday

The thing we like the most is that we could use the installations of the Hotel when ever we want like the garden, playroom and even the forks, knife, etc

This is a wonderful lodge, especially for families. It's in easy reach of the Unterammergau and Oberammergau ski slopes, which are good for beginner skiers. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We loved it.

This magical lodge in the heart of Oberammergau was amazing over the 4 days we spent there in February 2022. We travelled as a family of 5 from Ireland and were made to feel so welcome

There was free car parking (covered, useful as it snowed a lot!), a luxury apartment on the top floor with everything we needed and a very authentic Bavarian experience

Recently I was with a group of 15 people in the Gasthof zur Rose for dinner. Although we want to be "just sitting" all together, they gave us a separate room, which showed to the street and absolutely super and quiet

I stayed here the first time by accident due to an overbooking I ended up loving it and ensured that i booked here again on my second trip. The staff and owners are fantastic and made me feel at home

The included breakfast really adds to the value of a stay here, with everything from fresh breads, with every kind of spread, delicious scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, a huge selection of cheese, cereals, yogurt, and an espresso machine(!) and much more

The hotel has breakfast from 8a-10a everyday. Because we were heading out before 8am the staff put out breakfast at 730am for our family and some other guests. They are accomodating and friendly

I love Oberammergau and the Hotel Alte Post has the perfect location in the middle of the village. Our bedroom had a view of the town square with the stunning mountains in the background
