Where to stay in Neunkirchen

We have stayed here before and had an excellent stay. Unfortunately since the refurbishment they have put in very small double beds which we found way too small, I nearly fell out during the night. Everything else was good

Acceptable There is an unobtrusive sign with the name of the guesthouse on the facade, but no reference to the guesthouse on the front door, which is at the end of a kind of hallway. There is at least a sign in the stairwell at the beginning of the first floor. We stayed here after four month closure, which obviously has affected no. of staff and its restaurant. But their hospitality is high and rooms are always cleaned perfectly.

The location was just what I needed as a stopover from Switzerland, before driving through France to return to the UK via Eurotunnel (following the quarantine restrictions imposed this last weekend). There is easy access to the A6 road. There is cheap local fuel and food shops in the town too. Most important things first...everything clean at a fair price. Hotel owner very nice. Breakfast buffet with everything you need. The only thing that I find a pity is these pre-baked rolls that are so modern everywhere. But also because breakfast was great for 7 euros. Other hotels also take 10 to 12 with pre-baked rolls. This is a very decent hotel, considering the price! I paid 49 euros per night. This is a really good deal! Most other hotels in the area are either closed or very expensive. The owners are very nice people, and super helpful. You can get help in French, Italian, Russian, English, and German, of course. If you don't like noise, ask for a room that faces the forest. We just showed up to the restaurant 30 minutes before they open. The restaurant was fully reserved but Lino came down from heaven like an Angel to save our life. Nice stay for one night Room was nuce, clean, perfect for 2 people. Our room had a small kitchenette with a stovetop burner, small sauce pan, and a few other kitchen supplies. It worked well for breakfast but we opted to go out for supper. Overall the hotel was nice. Staff was friendly. And the paid covered parking was acceptable.

Late night check in was a breeze. Parking was easy. Rooms were very nice and modern vibe with a nice common room available. There is a microwave and mini fridge which was also great. Would absolutely stay again.

The restaurant had the best ham eggs benedict I've ever had. The coffee was nice and strong, the jams, butter, and margarine were amazing and the croissants were perfectly fluffy and flaky. The service was excellent. Would recommend, will come again.

This hotel is situated on a beautiful 3x 9 holes golf course. So, ideal to stay while playing there. The rooms are very good, the food is excellent, but the service is very bad. Especially in the restaurant where they 'throw' your meal, 'poor' your drinks and behave very unfriendly. At the reception the service depends on the person in charge, sometimes very informing, sometimes short & strict.

This is a nicely designed hotel with a strong focus on golf, making it a great choice for a short golf getaway. Our room, including the bathroom, was spacious and well soundproofed – we never heard any noise, even though it was located near the restaurant. Im in St Wendel due to the business 4-5 times a year, never had any surprises with the hotel, late check in or early check out - no problems, good food, quiet room, nice surrounding for morning run/walk - if you wan to, really recommending.

I couldn't have stayed at a better place. The service provided at the Wendels was exceptional. It really helped that breakfast was prepared in the mornings and the service that was rendered was very tasteful. I like that fact that the room had a DVD player with movies. It would be well worth driving out of your way to eat at the Hotel restaurant, the DeHam. In the 14 days we spent in Germany and France, it was by far the best meal. In my over 40 years as a professional traveler, the dinner was a rival to any in the world. The hotel room was spacious, quiet, and accommodating. Put this family operated hotel on your bucket list.

I was given another room, #101, with a bathroom window and twice as much space, facing the back courtyard, a drive through area. Good WLAN. Decent hotel outside Saarbrücken, it's a bit older, but still pretty nice. The breakfast was quite good, lots to choose from! Getting to downtown Saarbrücken was also not too bad, takes about 10 minutes, but finding parking is another challenge

Nice hotel built in the 80s with elegant lobby. Unfortunately, it was built before regulations for barrier free accessibility came to place and wouldn’t really be usable by anyone in a wheelchair. There is a flight of stairs to get from the street to the reception and there are steps in the dining area.
