Had a treat of a stay here and really great for a family stay. The service and facilities are great. Check in is a mess given the fixed time and the Q but everything else is amazing

Very nice hotel facing the Baltic Sea. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Beds are comfortable and made for a good night’s sleep. Excellent value too - we had a suite for €106 per night! We ate at their attached restaurant and the food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Went there for dinner and had a table at the terrace with great views over the Baltic Sea. Wonderful dinner. We had a typical Baltic sea dish with braised potatoes topped with cod, chicken, shrimps and mustard dill sauce. We added very tasty steamed vegetables and complemented this with a very nice bottle of white wine.

Excellent, quite location directly on the Ostsee beach. Vacation apartments are roomy and clean; some with water view. Great restaurant/food. Easy and free parking. Washer and dryer available. Highly recommended

We stayed for a good week. Our apartment was spacious, well-equipped, modern and clean, the view was directly over the sea, and if the weather had been better we could have used the small terrace (but with a beach chair!). Only a narrow street separates the hotel from the beach. Our dog was also welcome! I do have one suggestion, however: the handicapped-accessible bathroom has very few shelves, and...

Excellent from reception to departure always a cheerful staff. Vacation what more could you ask for. Clean rooms - apartments, bicycle storage, parking lot. A restaurant is also negotiate and delicious, unfortunately little fish dishes. The connection to the Verkehrswende public transport and train station is not far away either.

Cool place. Yummy burgers and a large buffet! Nice staff. Just a bit too crouded around the self service area. My tip would be to extend or move the buffet away from the rute to the bathrooms.

Stunning interior, friendly and competent personnel and an authentic American menu. A lot of attention put into all the details of the venue as well as the food. Definitely book a relaxing massage - pure relaxation. Rich breakfast, warm welcome by the landlady. A short walk and you are on the promenade. Good value for money. Between the two houses there is a beautiful terrace and a beautifully landscaped garden, on which the loungers invite you to relax. Very well suited for a short weekend trip to the Baltic Sea.

Family excursion Hansapark with 2 nights in this great hotel. The boss welcomes each guest personally + warmly. Unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the great wellness area. Next time for sure 😏 Even without a restaurant, this beautiful hotel is highly recommended. The breakfast was great, even freshly prepared egg dishes were served to us.

Probably ok-ish summerhotel but super-expensive off-season compared to quality/comfort. Charge like a fourstar, oddly rates three, should be two. Stayed at Wyndham in Osnabrück and Clarion Grand in Malmö before/after, both hotels half the price, tripple comfort. Cant recommend to any traveller.

This was one one of our favorite places we stayed at while in Germany. Our room was big and and clean . Very close walking distance to the beach and restaurants. I could live in this apartment!!

One star deducted for the lack of WiFi in our room, and the hotel can't be held responsible for the stolen flip-flops in the hotel sauna. Still, it's a shame that something like that spoiled our stay a little. Otherwise, everything was very nice.

We spent our holiday in Scharbeutz with 4 generations and everyone felt completely at home at Bayside. I booked this as one of the few available rooms in Scharbeutz for our long weekend in the summer. Reading some of the reviews here and on Google made me fear I'd made a terrible mistake but actually it was all fine. A super nice place, since 2019 after our first vacation here we feel very comfortable again and again. Swim in the pool in the morning, take a sauna in the house and even jump into the Baltic Sea in autumn. Super good kitchen and very friendly staff. Eating with a view of the Baltic Sea, what more could you want (Meer🏊). We are always looking forward to our vacation here in Grömitz at the Hotel Strandidyll

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and tidy. The sink in the bathroom is perhaps a bit small, but otherwise everything is fine. The food is really good and the breakfast is varied. There is a 3-course menu every evening (costs around €32). The hotel has a truly fantastic view over the Baltic Sea. The roof terrace is a dream! We will definitely come back!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and plentiful, and the location and view were excellent. But, as has often been mentioned here, the hotel is simply outdated, and it shows everywhere. A lot of work needs to be done.

The Hotel is in a desperate need of renovation. The rooms and building are really old and in some parts dirty. However, the staff are very friendly and do their best to keep you happy. The breakfast was also good. The location is Perfect with sea view from the room and a 2 min walk to the beach.

We were there for 1 week, in the apartment room. The room is a good size. The hotel is getting a bit old but it was enough. The cleanliness should be significantly better. It's a bit impractical with a stroller. The food was good, we were told that it was even better before the corona time! On the whole, you can spend a couple of days here. It's just a spa hotel.
