Our domicile “Die Mittelburg” in Oy-Mittelberg was lovingly furnished, had an incredibly friendly and helpful staff and the 3/4 board was a pleasure every day

Relatively small, family-run hotel in a very quiet location. The house could use some updating, but overall it is very comfortable. Kitchen and service are excellent! Everything was good in the room

We found the wellness area to be very good, especially that the sauna was "only" 85 degrees. Just a few more loungers would have been nice

The hotel is classically furnished and, what is extremely important to me, everything is clean and the staff is super friendly. Almost everything is made possible what the guest asks for

We got everything our hearts desired! All wishes were fulfilled and there were also one or two pleasant surprises. We recommend this hotel 100%!

Here you feel welcome! A very warm-hearted family business with a very great rich breakfast with everything your heart desires, an incredibly beautiful view and beautiful rooms. Dogs are also very welcome here

Perfect location to travel to Neuschwanstein. Hotel /apartment is located in a small village but everything you need is there (bakery restaurants and supermarket) I would totally recommend this place!!!

Had an apartment, is was great. 2 bedrooms and a big balcony David is a great host. We had some issues with the dishwasher and send David a whatsapp, he came around the same day and fixed it

Everything is well organized for breakfast service in the dining room. There is no lack of friendliness. But there are still a few things to complain about when it comes to room service

This hotel is located in a sceneric area with a lot of possible activities nearby. Currently the hotel is extending. I slept already in one of the new rooms. Very nice room with a fantastic view from the room

We stayed in room 308 which was hot and quite small located in the rafters, when we opened the roof window the rain came in. We had fans but it was still hot, the room didn't have a balcony either or any breakout space

We have been coming here for 10yrs and love the Pfeiffermuhle. The appartments are perfect for my family of 4. We cater for ourselves at breakfast but choose to eat in the restaurant every night, which is superb

We had booked the country house suite "Adlerhorst" and it was wonderful. Lots of space for 4 people, even if there were only three of us on site. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean

The fact that the bathtub under the sloping roof was not suitable for standing shower could be tolerated due to the large swimming pool and sauna 😄

* the chalets are very cozy and nice decorated. There is even a fireplace inside and a nice sauna and the entire chalet is wooden made

My requests were great, the sauna area was clean and there were enough places to relax. Personally, I don’t think it’s so good that the pool is separated from the sauna area

* staff is very polite and friendly * atmosphere is romantic and relaxing * the zwolf restaurant has very good food * the breakfast has nice variety * the offer free cakes from 2 until 4 * during the evening there is piano music and they offer selection on cheese, grapes, nuts and jam - most of the menus and tourist information are available in german only - a bit expensive - not possible to have...

But I can’t deduct a star for this because it’s my personal opinion and the pool itself is well maintained and in good condition. I was very pleased with the food. The 5-course menu was varied and very tasty

Since the hotel also offers other activities such as guided hikes and sports courses, you won’t be bored. I will be back and will be happy if there are Peloton bikes in the sports area

Very comfy and elegant suites, but the bathrooms on the last floor are quite uncomfortable for taller people. No spa, only sauna. Breakfast is great quality!

The renovations over the last few years have been wonderful, although we do miss the wooden reception area bar! The addition of the gym,Sauna and the new rooms in the second building are fantastic! Highly recommend you stay in this hotel if you've passing/visiting Kempten

Service was quick, friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere outside makes you stay way longer than planned, definitely worth your time. The food was delicious, fresh with reasonable prices

Wonderful, authentic experience. We only visited the restaurant but the hotel looked very inviting. Giuseppe looked after us perfectly, unfortunately I don’t recall his colleague’s name

Very nice location. enjoyed the chairlift ride up and the walk back to the hotel. Stayed here in 2007, much has changed in 11 years very upscale now but still a charming place.

Recommend to book a room in the new part of the hotel (Holz100) because of sustainable building system

The restaurant with genuine interior and food. Prices were good and food tasty. The personell at the hotell are very freindly and service minded. The Saunalandschaft had an extra fee, that was a big minus for me

Came last night and even before I arrived, my invoice was already printed. A room had already been assigned to me and the man at the reception was fantastic. An employee the owner of this hotel has to be proud off

I booked this hotel at short notice so that we could have easy access to a weekend of skiing in the Allgäu area (all the other hotels that are closer to the ski fields were either booked out or too expensive)

I thought the value for money at this hotel was excellent. I had booked a 2-bed room and an adjacent 3-bed room for one night. The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly

The food tasted amazing, like the Allgäuer Käseschnitzel or the Kalbsgulasch. Quick service, clean tables, cold beer. Prices are mid to high but totally worth it as the portions are big. Will be back

Beautiful view from the outside tables under the old linde tree. Signature rotisserie chicken are a must but everything is yummy.

We visited the restaurant only and didn’t feel particularly welcome. The waiter was rather patronizing and somewhat cold. Food and drinks were pretty alright. No credit card payment. Wouldn’t visit a second time.

Stunning sunset! The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious. We had the room Talblick, with a large window facing the valley at 1250m above sea level. Perfect vantage point for a beautiful sunset (May-July)

We stayed overnight to enjoy dinner at their 1 Michelin star restaurant PAVO. The location is breathtaking, with excellent views of the valleys and surrounding mountains

what a wonderful place off the beaten paths close to heaven. After a short steep drive you arrive in paradise. Location, hotel, food and staff leaves no wishes open.

This hotel was absolutely FABULOUS! It is a little off the regular tourist route, but completely worth it, especially if you are planning to visit Neuschwanstein

Had room upstairs- had balcony, fridge, Nespresso machine with capsules and big bathroom with a little bench to put things on. Only thing missing was milk for coffee. But we asked and got a small jug

We ended up walking the very steep Rosengasse in Bad Hindelang and found hotel Sonneck and one last available room at € 173,- What seemed like a lot of money turned out to be worth every penny of it! What a nice place! Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean

The balcony offered a stunning view of the village and the surrounding landscape ( which is spectacular). Breakfast next morning was a treat with ample choice and good service

Simply the most comfortable and beautiful hotel we've probably ever stayed in. The spa options are many, and not crowded. Very clean. Great food and options. Quiet and restful. Gorgeous setting.

One of the most stunning and picturesque locations and hotel that I have experienced. Located on the Bavarian border with Austria,the location is amazing with plenty of skiing, hiking and sledging activities near by

Spa facilities are always spotless and never too busy and the service is the best I've experienced in the area. There is lots to do in the area and the whole place is family friendly

This "hotel" could be made into a real one. What is obviously missing is a cook and a dishwasher. The latter would be easy to obtain, but with the cook it becomes more difficult. Location, terrace, pool all great

We felt very comfortable, boss and boss were very friendly. Our dog was also greeted in a friendly manner and was allowed to move freely in the hotel. We'll definitely be back

Nice rooms, not too expensive, great pool and spa. Rooms get cleaned well. Only the food isn't really good.

The gym room is a little dated and needs an upgrade. The sauna is decent and the associated relaxation room looks out into nature—very soothing during rain

Examples include tasteless broth, mismatched condiments, overcooked and under-salted meat and a particularly inedible mush (that came with the “tafelspitz”)… It is not an exaggeration to say that I was underwhelmed by the food

The best dish at dinner was consistently the ice cream. The kitchen managed to make subpar cuisine from high quality ingredients. The children’s food selection/buffet is an insult. Make no mistake—the service is superb

The cable car ride, hikes up and around the mountain, the adventure park, etc, are already worth the price of the hotel. The hotel itself is family friendly: pool, table tennis, table football, two kids’ rooms

The reception keeps a box of kid toys as a farewell gift—nice touch. The biggest flaw is the food. The breakfast is spartan, and it is obvious that cost cutting is at play. No fresh juice, no omelette station

The queue for coffee is a mess. For dinner, it is painfully obvious that the skill level of the cooks isn’t very high—the food has the taste of being mass-produced in a hurry

We only visited for one night , we wish that we had stayed longer. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. Great location with views from every window. We had dinner which again, was excellent

The sauna, which should have been at 65°, was however not above 45/50° during our stay. Overall a nice and relaxing address. Ideally located for the most beautiful castles of Bavaria nearby

the evening catering is not exceptional but the service is top notch and brought the dishes to our room so that baby can sleep. Great breakfast with always this view

The rooms are large and comfortable. The hotel is well kept, and clean. You have access to a sauna and wading pool 24 hours. There is free access to washing/drying machines for clothing. Honestly, this place is great

:D BTW, sport hall is located directly near sauna. You have to be really in good condition to use it

You have a small kitchen, and everything you need to maintain for yourself. You are provided with starter kit, but just like an apartment, you are expected to get your own stuff after that

Rooms are good, and view is outstanding! But there is was only one little soap for two peoples for 3 days. I was waiting for some better service for such money. But who need soap, when you have this view

Nice buffet in the morning and evening but food quality could have been a little bit better. Indoor parking costs 15 euro, charging a car is possible but not included

But the general experience was good for a training of 4 days. I am not sure though if I would pay that price from private pocket and come here for vacation

The staff was very welcoming and friendly with thier traditional clothes. They have a very nice wooden and spacious veranda were you can have breakfast or just enjoy the impressive view on to the lake

All the things from a traditional alpine house. The wellness looked like it was built a week before, so clean and zen. The jacuzzi was enormous and can easily hold 8 people

Parking is very convenient in front of the door. The rooms are very nice and clean, equipped with comfortable beds. Overall: can't find a beter hotel in the whole region

We found the overall service to be rather unfriendly, which was disappointing. Upon arrival at the restaurant, we were also informed that we needed to place our full order by 8:00 p. , otherwise no food would be served

Hotel Geiger’s excellent panoramic suite is overlooking the lake and mountains. It has a spacious seating area, bathroom and balcony. Free WiFi, varied breakfast buffet, wellness and good restaurant

Despite the beautiful nature, stunning views, and idyllic lakeside location, I would personally not choose this destination again. The hotel is charming but somewhat dated and does not have the needed air conditioning

He assured us that a gluten allergy would not be a problem and that we could simply mention it to the breakfast staff in the morning. However, when we did so at breakfast, the conversation was less straightforward

Sitting in a great position on the lake the hotel offers comfortable accommodation with many amenities. We stayed just one night but in good summer weather everything is perfect

Travelled for a week through Bavaria, and this hotel was the highlight of the trip. The owner is very organized and sent detailed instructions to get our room, anytime we arrived

We got a room in the ground floor. The room is very nice and clean. Ground floor has no Lake view. They have a sauna in the basement that guest operate themselves. Small but totally does the job

We requested a room on the second floor with a mountain/lake view and it was breathtaking. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the balcony was perfect for watching the sunset in the evening

The staff was very nice even though I came much too late. And all this for 40€ for a single room, absolutely top
