Super location on the lake, with stunning Mountain View near train stations, bus stop in front of the door, great restaurant and breakfast buffet. Had a fabulous spacious studio. Can highly recommend hotel Geiger, and it’s dog friendly as well.

All Ok, but note if you choose for the room downstairs you have a good place to site outsite but you do not have a few over the lake! Rooms are large and breakfast is good. Parking is limited but in front of the hotel parking is free between 6pm and 9am.

Stopped for a night while traveling with the family in the area. Lovely, quiet hotel on the bank of the small lake. Beautiful room views, super clean rooms and delicious food at the restaurant on premises. Would definitely stay there again.

We only were at the restaurant and we can't recommend it. The food is mediocre at max, the fish is far away from fresh and the service very unmotivated. This place lives from the location, which is beautiful and has a great view on the lake and mountains in the background.

The Hotel is situated in a very comfortable position, just few minutes from the city centre. The hotel rooms are spacious and kept clean, bathroom is nice and the selection of breakfast is really good and freshly made (savoury and sweet are well balanced) and the Staff is really friendly. Receptionists are friendly and happy to help you with recommendations. Overall it is a very nice place to stay .

I didn't stay overnight, just ate at the restaurant. The restaurant is good. The food are in full portion and tasty. You can find variety of dishes offered ranging from fish to deer meat. The service is also good. Very friendly. If you are about to dine on Friday night or weekend, it worths to check if they are fully booked or not.

A very nice hotel, beautiful and very well located, with stunning views over the lake. The room was really big and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and we really enjoyed to have it sitting in front of the lake. But what made our visit really special was the staff, so warm and helpful, specially Carmen, but in general everybody we met at the Reception Desk and the Restaurant. Congratulations for your hotel, we hope to come back some day! I really recommend it.

We had booked over the Christmas/new year 2012/2013 due to our dog in a apartment building and have eaten every third day in the case of Geiger's very tasty. Christmas eve and new year's eve, we were able to experience. Despite our medium-sized, very dear dog. We have felt each and every Time welcome. Everything, but everything really was not hypocritical, but honest. The staff and the family Geiger, whether reception (booking for Christmas eve and new year's eve), or in the Service. All were very helpful and very friendly. How do you say today is so beautiful: All were in a good mood. We felt here like at home. Something we have seen really very rare. If we go back to Hopfen am see and particularly over the Christmas/new year, we want to live here. Brigitte and Walter Frederick from Bonn
