Hotel Schlosskrone in Fussen

We stayed 2 nights in the 2nd building,The breakfast was amazing. The hotel staff were helpful and kind. Location is perfect. However the bathroom stinks. The 1st night i havent noticed that much and it was manageable, but the 2nd night i woke up in the middle of the night due to terrible smell spreading from bathroom into the room, and i couldn't sleep after, shame for such a fancy place...

Mixed impressions – great hotel, but disappointing reception experience.

We stayed at the hotel for one night, from October 18 to 20, traveling from Canada. We arrived around 10 a.m. planning to leave our luggage and go sightseeing. We also wanted to get a Füssen Pass.
The hotel itself is very nice – well located, with spacious and clean rooms and a good variety at breakfast. However, our check-in experience was quite unpleasant. The receptionist, who spoke Russian, appeared to recognize our Russian last name and started ignoring us, even though she was speaking Russian with another guest’s child at the same time. It seemed that she might have personal bias against Russians.
We have been living in Canada for 15 years and are used to treating everyone equally, regardless of nationality, so this attitude was surprising and disappointing. I believe such behavior negatively affects the hotel’s image. I hope the management will take note of this feedback.
