I was now for the fifth (or sixth, I can't remember ^^) time in "König Ludwig". The new transformations look simply magnificent. The program of activities is becoming more and more extensive and everyone will find something to do (yoga, equipment, meditation, etc.). I don't even need to talk about the food. I always tell my friends: "König Ludwig is worth it just for the food": D whether it's breakfast or the excellent evening menu, everything is simply delicious. The service is excellent, be it the cleaning lady, the reception, the waiters or others. Kudos to the whole team! We booked again right when we left. Until next time :)

We were there in August and wanted to extend our holiday in Schwangau as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we were out of luck, but the marketing manager showed us around the hotel and gave us a tour of the outdoor facilities. This increased our desire to spend a few days together in König Ludwig. In the meantime, we spent 3 days and 2 nights at the König Ludwig and were not disappointed at all. All the staff are very polite, humorous and warm, not feigned hospitality, but simply honest. The hotel is wonderfully quiet - no rattling or other noise. No crowds in the wellness area, restaurant or bar, even when the hotel was fully booked. The food was not only very tasty, but also really "nice" - always with a certain something. We immediately booked our next stay at König Ludwig. See you soon!

We had a great experience there. Very friendly and well trained staff. The price may seem high at first, but trust me, it is worth every euro you spend here. Highly recommend for your upcoming trip.

Absolutely great! The staff is very friendly, competent and ready to help in all areas. Immediately upon arrival we had a personal, friendly conversation about everything important. The rooms and all the facilities are modern, comfortable and, above all, clean and hygienic. The hotel manager personally met us for dinner, which we also rated very positively. Unfortunately, you rarely experience such a positive overall package these days, so we are even more pleased about this. This was definitely not our last stay. Highly recommended!

Yes, the suite was stunning, but at $700+ a night, and we stayed for 2 nights, Konig Ludwig should disclose the drilling construction crew and their unsightly toilets right outside your patio. They were unapologetic. The service at this 5 star resort was unacceptable. “No, you have to call a taxi yourself.” "We don’t have any spa availability.” Wait, what?! You can't accommodate us in your spa? There’s no one here in January (we ran into a masseuse at the bar with nothing to do who was shocked by that). In 2025 Das Konig has yet to translate their spa services into any other language. That’s intentional. They simply don’t care. Only Germans welcome.

The staff make you feel valued and special. The resort is outstanding for accommodation restaurant, sauna, swimming and exercise programs. I have visited 4 times and have enjoyed it so much every time.
