Hotel Herdegen - Self Check-in

Unpleasant experience:
Arriving at night after 1 000Km of driving and the key box did not give me the key to the room.
Fortunately Carmen and Martin from the Hotel Residenz Passau (the partner hotel) helped me get in.
The problem seemed to be a key mix-up,
Very unprofessional.

The rooms are nice.

Will stay at the Hotel Residenz Passau next time I'm visiting!

Quiet Old fashoned, furnitures from the 70ties, light did not funktion, and a sevral mobile Handymasten directly over the geads of the guest / on the rooftop - that is a no go

I booked through Hotels.com and never received an email with the code, was worried all day since I read other peoples reviews and called them. I suppose I should be happy I did and got the code over the phone instead. Since I never got an email afterwards anyway.

"Check-in" was smooth, enter the code at the door and in a machine inside, get a key. Unfortunately I got a room against the street on a football Saturday in June, it was warm and loud outside until quite late. Close the window=warm, open the window=you hear every person on the street below.

But the room was clean, close to the central parts of town and if not cheap then at least not extremely expensive.

I booked a room and I couldn't enter the hotel, the pin didn't work, I sat at the door with a small child and I called their number several times and no one answered, I don't recommend this hotel, so I paid, I had to look for another hotel. Scammers.
