The location is super close to the campus Griebnitzsee of the University of Potsdam, on a very beautiful lake. Also super close to the train station which can take you to Berlin or Potsdam centre. I stayed not on the main building, but in another one, however there is an underground tunnel connecting the two buildings which is very useful. We initially thought the mattress was no more than a mattress topper. It was approximately 10 cm thick, however it turned out to be comfortable. The hotel was basic as expected, the room was clean, and the air conditioning worked. Overall, it was a proximate and economical overnight stay with free car parking before returning the hire car, the next morning in Berlin.

We booked last minute; probably got the less nice rooms. Appeared to be above the pub-like reception and breakfast room. Quite dated decor, noisy and we could smell the cigarette smell from the outside seating below. No dinner/food options other than the breakfast. Overall not really all that cheap either - wouldnt book there again.

Rooms are big but older a bit. The service is fast and pro, the breakfast is delicious and many things are available.

Good value for money Basic, functional setup of the rooms. Single bed was comfortable, sheets where crisp and clean. Bathroom was also generally clean, with some slightly discoloured grout lines in the shower. Carpets worn, and the hallway was a maze. Breakfast buffet was varied and enjoyable. Overall, I was quite happy with the value for money and would stay here again.

A beautiful Art Nouveau house in a quiet neighborhood. The building itself houses the private eye clinic of the couple who run it, a pharmacy, a traditional restaurant, and a café. The rooms are antique-style and very clean. The white marble bathroom includes a shower and a whirlpool tub. Breakfast has everything you could need. The staff are all very, very friendly. I would gladly come back!

Clean rooms in one of the beautiful, well-preserved town houses in the middle of Potsdam. Still quiet and relaxing. Nice contact, good service. Antique furniture at its finest. We enjoyed it.

In the Dutch quarter you can spend very nice evenings in the inner court of the gastronomy.

Beautiful rooms with a great view, the bed is extremely comfortable. All in all a place to feel good. Unfortunately, the consistently positive experience was spoiled in the end. Since my friend accidentally booked for 1 person (instead of 2), we received an additional payment shortly before check-out. My husband and I stayed for 1 week until July 24th, 2022 in the captain's cabin of the Luise Pension in Potsdam. We liked it there very much, the great flair right at the marina in the best weather, the walking distance to the city, to many sights, the hospitality of Fau Dalichow and the entire team as well as the great, very rich breakfast are very good reasons, vacation here again. We recommend!...

That was a great experience. Sleep in a real cabin. And still bath, shower... everything included, neat and clean. The breakfast that was there was just great. Many a posh hotel can only hide there.

We stayed only for a night, but service was very good and friendly. Rooms super clean with a good view, no noise at night in the backyard rooms. Price was also good and breakfast included and a good amount of choices. All in all a very pleasant stay and we would definitely book this again when in Potsdam. All the old town and centeal things up to Sans Soussi are walkable as well.

I deliberately chose this accommodation to travel in Berlin. Good idea. An hour by car into the city, train and train with a waiting time of 50 minutes. Ideal building to be a hotel, it was an orphanage (clue is in the name). Centrally located with a small car park, need to make sure that you book it when booking a room, not a lot of easy street parking. Clean comfy rooms, good breakfast, helpful staff. It was a return visit, so that says it all.

I've been going to the pension at the deep lake for many years now and will always come back 🤩. I have visited every room over the years and highly recommend it. The owners are very friendly and very uncomplicated. The apartment (4 people) was large, had a lot of character and made you feel at home. Cars and bicycles were safe in the inner courtyard. We would love to come back.

It was a bit like us at night in the museum. The apartment was equipped with some very nice old furniture. But unfortunately a little crowded. The breakfast room was in the garden and was a real break in style compared to the room. The breakfast was great, everything you need was there. We would stay there again if it were possible to go to Potsdam again.

The Remise Blumberg is really a picturesque spot between Potsdam city centre and SansSouci. There's bus and tram connection just around the corner and as a guest you receive a public transport ticket for free. The owner, Mrs Ketzer is very friendly and often knows what you wish for without you having said a word. A large breakfast is included with sparkling wine, eggs to your taste, some salads, cereals...

A nice place to stay at Potsdam

Nice owner, clean rooms, great location. The deduction for the refrigerator in the Cabinet next to the bed (noise), and old Cutlery. But it would come back.

The pension is a very cheap and centrally located accommodation. The family apartment even exceeded our expectations. There is a lot of space and everything is clean and tidy. We particularly liked the surroundings. There are many restaurants, cafes and shops within a few minutes' walk. We would come back any time!

The staff very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and perfectly adequate for two people. Since the house is an old building, it is extremely noisy. You can hear every person in the hallway as if they were standing in the room.

It's a nice hotel with nice rooms. My room had a television, bed, desk, chair, sofa, kitchen and private bathroom. I liked very much the fast check in and the staff was very helpful. It is also very close to the bus stop and you can be in 10 minutes in the city center of Potsdam.

The Pension am Finderling is suitable for travellers who want to have it somewhat spartan. The rooms are designed like small apartments and are located in a brick building, which has its attractiveness throughout. It reminds a little of an old factory. The employees are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is rich and very down-to-earth.

Clean, convenient hotel in Babelsberg. Bike rental is available and convenient for commuting (e.g. to Potsdam Hbf), I use it when visiting Potsdam University.

The price-performance ratio is Top! The rooms were clean and nice and big, Check-in outside reception time is also well organized and the Breakfast was for a guest house to be excellent. .
