Parked the car close to hotel outside the stadium. The hotel has ample parking on 2 levels in their underground garage. Make a note which level you parked on! Plenty of helpful staff and decent rooms. I was here for a seminar, they have a large choice of seminar rooms and room to mingle on breaks. 2G covid checks at the main entrance.

The room is decent with basic amenities. No slippers available in the room, however the reception provided a pair straight away. The same happened with towels and water. My room was not cleaned the second day, neither water or towels were provided. I asked the reception and they were very polite to assist, that was late at night. I would prefer not to have to look after my room myself but to be treated...

Perfect for small us, with small baby. Stayed for one night only. For us it could be closer to the highway but the location is fine really. Lots of covid rules but didn't really matter. Next time we should stay longer.

Good secluded place for company meetings. Staff are helpful and accommodative. But as i said its location is secluded, so if you want to buy some snacks or drinks, there's no stores nearby

Room was clean but the noise was annoying. No idea what is was though, air con, the fridge, something in the bathroom...just a constant sound from somewhere. The balcony is actually a joke as well. Must be careful not to drop anything cause it would fall straight through and no space for two chairs next to each other. Dinner was good with a lovely service and breakfast was good too.

Pros: Great location, beautiful grounds. There's a great bike path right in front along the lake, which can take you into Potsdam or South along the water, over bridges, through towns & fields. We rode down to Ferch. Comfortable bed. Good shower size and water pressure. Cons: Unfriendly and subpar customer service. Stayed for 2 nights. Great location, walking distance to almost everything. Decent room nothing too special but clean and comfortable. The worst Mercure hotel I've ever stayed in for in-room amenities, not at all 4 star level. We stayed for three nights at 135 euros per night, there were hardly any lockers for storing clothes, and you couldn't walk around the room properly with a 20" suitcase unfolded. It is a good hotel located at a good junction where you can easily jump off to any site. The staff speak good English and German, and the rooms are neat. My room was on a 8th floor so I had a good viewing point. Generally ok, but the restaurant was only open in the morning!

The rooms are in need of renovation. In our room several großfächige stains were on the carpet pieces. I was very pleased to have chosen this hotel for my stay in Potsdam. It is perfectly located to explore the beautiful city parks and many incredible sites. This is a great hotel, centrally situated. Good for buses and trams, opens on the lovely Square. Not too noisy in or out of the hotel. Breakfast there is plenty of choice. We had dinner one night which was very good.

Very clean and surprisingly quiet despite having a room to the front street. Friendly service, even though a bit pricey and outdated decor. Super comfortable beds and big sauna. Reservations are required for the sauna but could potentially be quite busy when many guests ask to use it. Luckily we had it for ourselves.

The best place with very friendly staff. Absolutely well maintained rooms. There are even smoking rooms on request. Also worth mentioning is the rich breakfast buffet, where every guest will be happy! We will be happy to come back.

The location is just perfect. Breakfast also very good. The downfall for me was the smell of the room, the fact that the TV had no internet connection (smart tv) and no charger in one of the bed sides. In general I would recommend.

We had the suite: the room was spacious, bright, elegantly decorated and with large windows facing the Brandenburger Tor. Breakfast was enjoyable and served in a cozy area, I would still book it despite at walking distance from the hotel are several eating options.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ascot Bristol (2 nights). The rooms were spacious, clean, and the breakfast was really good. You have everything you need for a few days to visit Postdam. We had parking in front of the hotel for free (limited space) but there is also an option to park underground for a fee.

It is an interesting location when you plan to visit Potsdam. Unfortunately the quick connection ti city center of Potsdam via water taxi is not running anymore. So you need to be prepared to cycle or to take your car to get of this little island. The Interieur and set up of this hotel is a little bit out dated and serves its purpose.

The location is super close to the campus Griebnitzsee of the University of Potsdam, on a very beautiful lake. Also super close to the train station which can take you to Berlin or Potsdam centre. I stayed not on the main building, but in another one, however there is an underground tunnel connecting the two buildings which is very useful. Been there for a conference in february. During the first day the conference room got extremely warm and the air got bad very fast. On the second day this felt a little better. Food was perfect and very tasty. Getting a drink besides tee and coffee between the lectures was not trivial.

There are 2 parts of the hotel: 1) Close to the lake And 2) On the other side of the street I was in the part on the other side of the street. Stayed for six nights. The staff is very friendly. Rooms were clean. Breakfast had a very nice variety and tasted good. Only complaint was the carpets were old and damaged, which seems to be normal for European hotels.

2 nights from 18/7-23 I got a good sized standard room with double bed, shower, airconditioning, fridge and WIFI. All, except airconditioning, worked perfectly. Airconditioning is not cooling, but just blowing air. I had to sleep with open windows and I could see the other rooms had to do the same. There is a road just outside, so that gives some noise from cars in the night, but I slept fine. Nice...

According to January 23. The place is relatively clean, and is located close to the train. The room is quite small, and we got 2 beds next to each other instead of a double bed and during sleep the beds kept separating which was not comfortable, and there was no refrigerator in the room. We didn't order breakfast.

We used the "Couples Time" offer from the hotel's website, and while the flowers and the champagne were a great touch, the two single beds pushed together with a large gap between them were not. This is a great hotel to stay. the room was excellent and the staff was very nice. Great place close to downtown Postdam and to all the sightseen places. My only recommendation will be to improve the booking through the website. We had many issue trying to book directly in the hotel website so we had to ask our local german friend to call and ensure the reservation for us.

I deliberately chose this accommodation to travel in Berlin. Good idea. An hour by car into the city, train and train with a waiting time of 50 minutes.
