Parked the car close to hotel outside the stadium. The hotel has ample parking on 2 levels in their underground garage. Make a note which level you parked on! Plenty of helpful staff and decent rooms. I was here for a seminar, they have a large choice of seminar rooms and room to mingle on breaks. 2G covid checks at the main entrance.

The room is decent with basic amenities. No slippers available in the room, however the reception provided a pair straight away. The same happened with towels and water. My room was not cleaned the second day, neither water or towels were provided. I asked the reception and they were very polite to assist, that was late at night. I would prefer not to have to look after my room myself but to be treated...

Perfect for small us, with small baby. Stayed for one night only. For us it could be closer to the highway but the location is fine really. Lots of covid rules but didn't really matter. Next time we should stay longer.

Good secluded place for company meetings. Staff are helpful and accommodative. But as i said its location is secluded, so if you want to buy some snacks or drinks, there's no stores nearby

Room was clean but the noise was annoying. No idea what is was though, air con, the fridge, something in the bathroom...just a constant sound from somewhere. The balcony is actually a joke as well. Must be careful not to drop anything cause it would fall straight through and no space for two chairs next to each other. Dinner was good with a lovely service and breakfast was good too.

Pros: Great location, beautiful grounds. There's a great bike path right in front along the lake, which can take you into Potsdam or South along the water, over bridges, through towns & fields. We rode down to Ferch. Comfortable bed. Good shower size and water pressure. Cons: Unfriendly and subpar customer service. Upon arrival, we were sent to the wrong room 2 times with keycards that didn't work...

Great hotel huge and cosy rooms. Big underground parking but its not free... cost 25euro per night... pretty expensive for my opinion. . Should be included in the room or some how discounted for hotel guests.

clean. good beds. simple room design. nothing too exciting. great location if you visit potsdam with castle sanssouci and the historic markers. they only have one charging station which charges two e-cars at the same time. and you need to have a RFID card from the front desk. not really a great UX. to free up the station is at the grace of the individual e-car driver. i hope the hotel learns that...

Four of us stayed here for a few days in August and were pleasantly surprised. This is a spacious, bright place with friendly staff. Stayed for 2 nights. Great location, walking distance to almost everything. Decent room nothing too special but clean and comfortable. The 2 gentlemen at reception were very nice and helpful (don’t remember the names but the one I believe was Coskun?). Should add that there was no mini fridge in my room which was a surprise.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Mercure Hotel. The rooms are a bit small and it is a bit far from the main area of town, but the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is right next to the water, a boat tour company, and a lovely tapas restaurant with clear vegan options. I highly recommend taking the 90 minute boat tour across from the hotel and/or renting a bicycle from the hotel and riding...

The worst Mercure hotel I've ever stayed in for in-room amenities, not at all 4 star level. We stayed for three nights at 135 euros per night, there were hardly any lockers for storing clothes, and you couldn't walk around the room properly with a 20" suitcase unfolded. The shower head in the hotel is very old and does not have enough water pressure. The hotel is on the river and has a nice view, but...

It is a good hotel located at a good junction where you can easily jump off to any site. The staff speak good English and German, and the rooms are neat. My room was on a 8th floor so I had a good viewing point. Generally ok, but the restaurant was only open in the morning!

Room ok, carpet was old and dirty. No one here seems to have heard about corona. Even around the Buffett, most people didn’t wear masks, we were shocked how even the staff didn’t seem to care.

The rooms are in need of renovation. In our room several großfächige stains were on the carpet pieces. The back part with white floating (?) the bed hanging fridge door, abgestoßener table was stained, the balcony railing was dirty, the walls stains had, the shower curtain was down dark (this would have to be placed in front of the Washing time in Klorix can do wonders for you, toilet lid hinges yellow...

Wonderful hotel with terrible wifi! Hotels that charge as much as they do should have high speed internet ! All that is needed are wifi repeaters. Not sure why this hotel doesn't offer those to insure the best internet! Breakfast was good but not worth the price! I can not recommend this hotel in this day and age! We had the suite: the room was spacious, bright, elegantly decorated and with large windows facing the Brandenburger Tor. Breakfast was enjoyable and served in a cozy area, I would still book it despite at walking distance from the hotel are several eating options.

Lovely hotel. Dogs allowed. Parking is better reserved in advance, otherwise plenty of street parking around, not expensive. The only thing is that the breakfast room gets extremely crowded, so it’s a bit annoying, especially with Covid, to be with so many people in a room. But breakfast is nice, many options.

The location is just perfect. Breakfast also very good. The downfall for me was the smell of the room, the fact that the TV had no internet connection (smart tv) and no charger in one of the bed sides. In general I would recommend.

The hotel was renovated and is now very nice and modern. The beds are very very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and abundant. Traveling for business and the confort is very appreciated.

No easily accessible parking, the hotel parking lot is always full. Staff are nice and rooms are quite modern but small. Outlets for devices are in the worst spots and the voltage is weak so expect a slow charge. Beds were mediocre but clean. Bathroom was nice too.

Old, a bit runned-down hotel without aircon rooms. A bit shady neighbourhood. Parking 9Eur / night a bit much. Definitely NOT 4 stars like they claim

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ascot Bristol (2 nights). The rooms were spacious, clean, and the breakfast was really good. You have everything you need for a few days to visit Postdam. We had parking in front of the hotel for free (limited space) but there is also an option to park underground for a fee.

The location is super close to the campus Griebnitzsee of the University of Potsdam, on a very beautiful lake. Also super close to the train station which can take you to Berlin or Potsdam centre. I stayed not on the main building, but in another one, however there is an underground tunnel connecting the two buildings which is very useful. Been there for a conference in february. During the first day the conference room got extremely warm and the air got bad very fast. On the second day this felt a little better. Food was perfect and very tasty. Getting a drink besides tee and coffee between the lectures was not trivial.

There are 2 parts of the hotel: 1) Close to the lake And 2) On the other side of the street I was in the part on the other side of the street. Stayed for six nights. The staff is very friendly. Rooms were clean. Breakfast had a very nice variety and tasted good. Only complaint was the carpets were old and damaged, which seems to be normal for European hotels.

2 nights from 18/7-23 I got a good sized standard room with double bed, shower, airconditioning, fridge and WIFI. All, except airconditioning, worked perfectly. Airconditioning is not cooling, but just blowing air. I had to sleep with open windows and I could see the other rooms had to do the same. There is a road just outside, so that gives some noise from cars in the night, but I slept fine. Nice...

According to January 23. The place is relatively clean, and is located close to the train. The room is quite small, and we got 2 beds next to each other instead of a double bed and during sleep the beds kept separating which was not comfortable, and there was no refrigerator in the room. We didn't order breakfast.

Place is good for vacation stay with family. But otherwise it's bit outskirt and if you love to see the people and shops around then not a good choice.

A friendly welcome at the reception. Not all guests were satisfied about the 3G check. The hotel is close to the railway station. The time slots for breakfast were sharp but manageable. The breakfast offers were good and the price was absolutely valuable. If we're getting back to Potsdam we'll be at B&B again.

This hotel was a real bargain. It’s a few minutes walk from the train station and then maybe 15 minutes walk to the old town of Potsdam. Our room was very quiet, a reasonable size and had decent wifi and plenty of power sockets. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat there but there was a breakfast option. Prices were very good.

Beautiful old building with comfortable rooms, and nice view over potsdam. The fiendly staff put together a great vegan breakfast upon request, with home-made spreads! One point I found to criticize is that the details for wifi connection were not readily available in the room.

Lovely building, clean rooms and good location. However the entrance closes at 10pm and have to use a side entrance instead. Some people don't realise this and ring everybody's room. My room got called 13 times in one night. For people on business like myself the Wi-Fi is also extremely slow, my VPN kept kicking me out due to the packet loss.

Staff were welcoming and warm-hearted. Location was perfect. Breakfast buffet was awesome, like that of a four star. The well-maintained villa was tastefully decorated, charming and elegant. Best of all, guests could rest in the garden chairs, enjoying the quiet and idyllic atmosphere.

We used the "Couples Time" offer from the hotel's website, and while the flowers and the champagne were a great touch, the two single beds pushed together with a large gap between them were not. That's not a double bed. We had to pay extra for a room with a real double bed. Pros: - Extremely clean. Disinfectant everywhere. All kinds of measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The hotel itself, and its location, is very nice. Reception efficient and friendly. Less pleasant is the service approach to guests, reminding very strongly of the former mentality in the country : THE PERSONAL IS THE KING, THE GUEST IS ONLY THE PAYING FOOL. This is a great hotel to stay. the room was excellent and the staff was very nice. Great place close to downtown Postdam and to all the sightseen places. My only recommendation will be to improve the booking through the website. We had many issue trying to book directly in the hotel website so we had to ask our local german friend to call and ensure the reservation for us.

I was very pleased to have chosen this hotel for my stay in Potsdam. It is perfectly located to explore the beautiful city parks and many incredible sites. Within a half hour’s walk in any direction there is something beautiful to see. The room was clean, bed comfy, windows open to let in fresh air and the breakfast buffet was first rate, as was all the food at the restaurant. I felt very safe walking...

This is a great hotel, centrally situated. Good for buses and trams, opens on the lovely Square. Not too noisy in or out of the hotel. Breakfast there is plenty of choice. We had dinner one night which was very good.

Very clean and surprisingly quiet despite having a room to the front street. Friendly service, even though a bit pricey and outdated decor. Super comfortable beds and big sauna. Reservations are required for the sauna but could potentially be quite busy when many guests ask to use it. Luckily we had it for ourselves.

The rooms are nice and clean. The location is wonderful, very near the city center. The included breakfast was really tasty, and there was a variety of options.

The room was as one would expect from a 3 star hotel in Germany, though a bit smelly. The matress was quite hard, which I personally like. Good breakfast with a nice outdoor terrace.
