Great hotel huge and cosy rooms. Big underground parking but its not free... cost 25euro per night... pretty expensive for my opinion. . Should be included in the room or some how discounted for hotel guests.

I stayed at this hotel with a group of friends for New Year’s Eve. In total I stayed 3 nights and the beds were very small but comfortable. clean. good beds. simple room design. nothing too exciting. great location if you visit potsdam with castle sanssouci and the historic markers. they only have one charging station which charges two e-cars at the same time. and you need to have a RFID card from the front desk. not really a great UX. to free up the station is at the grace of the individual e-car driver. i hope the hotel learns that...

Nice breakfast, reasonable basic rooms.

Four of us stayed here for a few days in August and were pleasantly surprised. This is a spacious, bright place with friendly staff. Just one criticism, which may only apply to certain rooms. There was very little privacy with regard to the bathroom, just clear glass between you and the rest of the room. This was certainly an issue for my teenage children. The toilet could do with a wooden door, again to provide some level of privacy.

Stayed for 2 nights. Great location, walking distance to almost everything. Decent room nothing too special but clean and comfortable. The 2 gentlemen at reception were very nice and helpful (don’t remember the names but the one I believe was Coskun?). Should add that there was no mini fridge in my room which was a surprise.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Mercure Hotel. The rooms are a bit small and it is a bit far from the main area of town, but the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is right next to the water, a boat tour company, and a lovely tapas restaurant with clear vegan options. I highly recommend taking the 90 minute boat tour across from the hotel and/or renting a bicycle from the hotel and riding...

The worst Mercure hotel I've ever stayed in for in-room amenities, not at all 4 star level. We stayed for three nights at 135 euros per night, there were hardly any lockers for storing clothes, and you couldn't walk around the room properly with a 20" suitcase unfolded. The shower head in the hotel is very old and does not have enough water pressure. The hotel is on the river and has a nice view, but...

It is a good hotel located at a good junction where you can easily jump off to any site. The staff speak good English and German, and the rooms are neat. My room was on a 8th floor so I had a good viewing point. Generally ok, but the restaurant was only open in the morning!

We stayed there for one night, practically passing through, we liked it a lot, there was nothing to complain about at the hotel so far, everything was good, breakfast was also more than good, the location is almost perfect, right on the lake and many things can be reached within a radius of about 30 kilometers, I could imagine booking this hotel again for 4-5 days with bikes.

Despite the 10mins long walk on main road to the hotel (they do provide sign to guide you), I really enjoyed my stay that is away from the city. Great location for a short trip to Potsdam

Very nice hotel with a great location next to a lake. Swimming Pool, sauna and gym are free to use. Breakfast was amazing. You do have to pay for parking but parking on the street was free.

Pleasant location and reasonable value for money. Perfect for a short stay as a business traveler, but also a pleasant location not far from Berlin for a family holiday.

Very beautiful and quiet location in the forest right by the lake. Underground parking is expensive at 14 euros per night. What I have never experienced before is that you have to pay 6 euros per day for the hotel's own swimming pool as a hotel guest. Room is small (but clean), closet too small for 2 people. Breakfast offers little choice. It would also be nice to have buffet signs everywhere.

It's a good hotel in the heart of old city. Everything was good and well maintained. The room was a bit small but overall comfortable.

The best place with very friendly staff. Absolutely well maintained rooms. There are even smoking rooms on request. Also worth mentioning is the rich breakfast buffet, where every guest will be happy! We will be happy to come back.

Beautiful Hotel This amazing hotel and property is located in this kind of peninsula that face a nice small bay. The building is top and the rooms are spacious. The restaurant is too quality and the food is delicious. In the morning the breakfast provides an outstanding selection of good food and traditional German cuisine. It is an interesting location when you plan to visit Potsdam. Unfortunately the quick connection ti city center of Potsdam via water taxi is not running anymore. So you need to be prepared to cycle or to take your car to get of this little island. The Interieur and set up of this hotel is a little bit out dated and serves its purpose.

Lovely hotel, good location, friendly staff, very clean and I believe is the best in Potsdam. Areas of improvement are: they need to install a ramp for luggage arrival and departure. The steps are challenging with heavy luggage. No bellman to help either. I think the breakfast is too expensive at 24 euros rack ( nearly $30 with taxes/fees) they should offer a continental option for less. No restaurant...

Don't Miss This One! This is true gem situated in the best possible part of Potsdam...right across from the Old Town but away from the noise. The hotel is impeccable. I travel almost 100 nights per year and this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. From the attentive staff to the delicious breakfast to the beautifully appointed rooms - this is a 10/10.

Beautiful old building with comfortable rooms, and nice view over potsdam. The fiendly staff put together a great vegan breakfast upon request, with home-made spreads! One point I found to criticize is that the details for wifi connection were not readily available in the room.

Fantastic place, quiet and friendly with great views of Potsdam over the back, close to the Schloss Sanssouci park and gardens and walking distance to the centre of Potsdam. Breakfast is good and the rooms I've stayed in have been clean, crisp, modern and well appointed. There is not much parking and it's pretty small but otherwise it's a lovely hotel and I'd love to stay there again...!

Free parking, excellent view of Potsdam, a traditional German breakfast, and a friendly staff. Not much more you can ask for. Also, free wifi.

Lovely building, clean rooms and good location. However the entrance closes at 10pm and have to use a side entrance instead. Some people don't realise this and ring everybody's room. My room got called 13 times in one night. For people on business like myself the Wi-Fi is also extremely slow, my VPN kept kicking me out due to the packet loss.

Wonderful property in the quiet village of Golm. Very well-appointed, spotlessly clean & well furnished. Food excellent, staff even better!

The room was very clean (standard comfort) the restaurant was very price intensive and no big choices there. - The noise level was very very low - the breakfast was good (bacon and egg, sausages, marmalade, cornflakes, buns, for everyone something :) - very close to Potsdam City Overall a good choice if just stay overnight and go on a tour after breakfast.

I called your hotel & in just a couple of mins the problem was completely solved...

Everything was good but, for some reason, they took my toothbrush and toothpaste. After inquiring, they returned my toothbrush but kept my (medicated) toothpaste. Whatever.

The location is just perfect. Breakfast also very good. The downfall for me was the smell of the room, the fact that the TV had no internet connection (smart tv) and no charger in one of the bed sides. In general I would recommend.

Good accomodation, friendly staff, in the center of Potsdam. Good breakfast, but only 3 parking places in Hotel court. Rooms are large and with well equipped baths, but without refrigerator. Best quality/price ratio!

The hotel was excellent value for money. The staff were lovely, the bedroom was clean, very comfortable and had everything you could need. The breakfast was delicious, a full continental buffet with some extras along with good quality coffee. Exceeded my expectations for the price. Would highly recommend.

Small and friendly Hotel in a historic building right in the dutch quarter. Very good breakfast that can also be enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard. Friendly staff, clean and well maintained. The only minor negative to mention is the very small shower cabin.

I was here for Animemesse. The rooms are clean and tidy, tasty breakfast, great position for the Filmpark. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They even let us leave our luggage at the reception to go to the convention. 100% will be back next time!

Charming quite place tucked away in a residential locality. No lift, no pets allowed, not easy to access. Interiors are lovely. Bus 616 goes to the Plantagenstr. tram stop, and from there Hbf can be reached.

The Hotel is really very nice. An old Villa, with the same rooms. Very elegant, but also modern. Wi-Fi there are, however, you do not need to log in 30min, which is bad. Clean everything is. Breakfast is Spartan, however, and there are many places are not available, whereby groups have to go very early to eat.

Room ok, carpet was old and dirty. No one here seems to have heard about corona. Even around the Buffett, most people didn’t wear masks, we were shocked how even the staff didn’t seem to care.

Getting a room for a short night turned out to be easy here, with the reception being open 24/7. :) Also, the river makes a beautiful sight and the room was clean and tidy.

Postdam is a nice place, very green and the hotel is quite pleasant. The only point is to take care about check-in which is limited to 8pm maximum

We used this as a base for our trip to Berlin and was out all day so didn't use any hotel facilities. You have to catch a tram to Potsdam across the road from the hotel and then a train to the centre of Berlin about every 10 minutes. There are shops opposites including a supermarket

Located in the Drewitz district, it's conveniently close to the motorway and offers excellent tram connections (trams run every 10 minutes). The rooms are very spacious, even if they aren't the most contemporary in style. Daily housekeeping is still provided here. Breakfast is excellent and offers everything you could wish for. The service is also very good. The restaurant 'Journal' is highly recommended...

Met out expectations. The location the hostel is build at is not trying to win a beauty award, but the connection towards Berlin and the inner city of Potsdam is great. Also through the night Trams are available. The rooms are large and even got an hair dryer. Only the pillows lack in comfort. The crew is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hostel!

The rooms are about the same size, but there are too many beds, which take up a lot of space. There is no kettle in the room. To boil water, you have to go to the front desk to borrow water instead of the kettle, which they don't lend. The breakfast was not as rich as described online.

The location is relatively quiet. Overall, the service is OK. The breakfast is relatively simple. Basically, there is no change in a week. Overall, it is still good. It is next to the Shingu Palace and can be reached on foot.

Stayed for six nights. The staff is very friendly. Rooms were clean. Breakfast had a very nice variety and tasted good. Only complaint was the carpets were old and damaged, which seems to be normal for European hotels.
