Our stay was required due to vehicle breakdown while on holiday from Scotland.Arrived Friday 27June. Arranged by vehicle recovery service. Staff very helpful. Bus stop 3 mins away to Ratingen then tram to Dusseldorf.Also near airport. Checked out after 4 Nights but vehicle not ready so returned for another night. Given same room. It is quite suitable for business trips, but the surrounding area is not very convenient. However, the whole hotel is very clean and tidy. It is recommended to come here if you rent a car. The hotel that was supposed to be acquired by Marriott was not well managed before, but it has been very good since the general manager was replaced.

The hotel has changed its name and is now called Four Hotel. We had a junior suite, which was very large but poorly furnished. The restaurant/bar was unfortunately closed. The breakfast is top-notch! The hotel was location was found with ease, staff was friendly on arrival spoke in good English, we were made comfortable on are stay also had are friends for breakfast one morning. It was nice clean room with a lot to do in area with shopping available near and Christmas market.

Got booked in here when flight from airport got cancelled, I have to say the the room is very nice along with the great reception staff named Walid, overall a lovely hotel.

The rooms were very big and beautiful, but the bed for the kids was very uncomfortable and noisy. The breakfast buffet was amazing, there were so many things to choose of and it was super delicious. With the check-in we had some problems because we couldn't open the door with our cards. There is a hot steam bath but it only opens from 3 p.m. which is a bit late.

Super simple and pragmatic accommodation with a McDonald’s right across the street and free breakfast. Unbeatable value for money.

We stopped across the street to charge our car this morning. Instead of waiting in our car the staff of the Mercure Hotel welcomed us in their lobby. This was a very friendly and pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend to stay!

Visited this hotel for a short stay on a weekend. Room was okay - even there has been a problem with the shower making noises at night. We were very disappointed by the breakfast though - advertised at 8,50 EUR (real price 10,50 EUR nowadays) due to options, freshness, etc.

Super clean, easy access to airport, quick check-in, friendly front desk, great WiFi signal. The wall was very thin and I heard the whole conversation next door.

Nice experience of checking out. Hotel is clean and looks modern and stylish. Room had good blackout curtains, AC and big TV. Bathroom has all needed things. Overall very good impression except the fact, that I could hear TV sound from the other room

The convenience of the location for the airport, the pleasant responsive staff, the furnishings (washer & dryer, etc.) make it easy to simply move in and live. Small meals are easy to order. Daily cleaning and linen service means hotel comfort in a proper setting with reasonable price. It is close to necessary places besides the airport: supermarket, transport, and good restaurants.

It's a clean and comfortable B&B. Easy check in and out! It is located very close to the stadium but a bit far from the city center.

One of the reviews I was looking forward to make. If there would be more then 5 stars, I would be happy to give. The cleanest hotel I ever set foot on. You can't find a Speck of Dust in the whole place. The most comfortable bed and pillows. The staff very polite, kind and attentive. The automat in the lobby has drinks at a fair price. Also a coffee automat is present in the lobby. Definitely will return

Perfectly fine My stay in Ratingen was perfectly fine. I have no complaints. The taxi to the airport is expensive and there's a €5 additional drop off charge so that should be taken into account, when "saving" money on accommodation near the airport.

I missed a refrigerator in the room and if you come late in de evening to the hotel you can not park the car. Also there was not a watercooker and cofee or thee in the room. But all the other thing were good.

Very good place to come and stay in Ratingen: the parking is right beside the entrance. They always welcome my dog, friendly, the quality of service is high.
