Great comfortable hotel with good spa and a restaurant.

When you first come to the hotel, it looks nice but not overwhelming. The quality of the cars parked at the entrance is a good indicator of what to expect. The online images of the lobby do not in any way convey the grandeur of the place The place opens up in a cavernous space, seemingly breaking at least a few laws of nature. Well, due to renovation, no room upgrade and executive lounge, located at a restaurant, proved to be a subpar experience. Staff were nice and professional. Took taxi / uber to the city center as it takes about 30 minutes by foot. I'd wait until renovation is completed before visiting again.

excellent in most aspects for a business hotel. most front desk staff are not so friendly or enthusiastic. i waited until 1630 to get my room because it was not cleaned. room aircon didn’t work even with the window closed, but luckily it was cold outside. walking distance to the Rhine riverside park, and following the river brings you to the old town.

We had a great experience with this Hilton. Had a small hiccup at check-in (room not ready at 2:30pm). But afterwards, I as a Gold Member got upgraded to the best suite. Special thanks to Victor for arranging this and making our stay so pleasant & memorable!

Very nice hotel. Simple yet easy to use and good check out time. Unfortunately it was unclear up front that the parking was €15.50 per night so please be aware of this. For those using EV charging, the rate is €0.60/kW (June 2025) and is a 22kW charger.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were nice and comfortable, it had a built-in speaker so I could play my music (honestly my favorite feature). The bathroom was clean and had its own AC, nice touch! The bar was open 24/7 and has a pizza menu, it was great for after the concert I attended, because I was hungry! This hotel confuses me. On the one hand, it's brand new, has a really nice lobby and bar, and the room is very spacious and modern. On the other hand, the bathroom was dirty (hair everywhere, including on the towels). An iron and ironing board costs a EUR 40 deposit, cash only (?!). Good hygiene that was up to standards. There was a working airconditioning and a good blowdryer. The location was okay since it’s close to the places we wanted to visit, but if you want to go to Little Tokyo or Altstadt you have to pass the train station, which feels shady and unsafe at night. I also missed toothpaste and slippers in the room. Overall I had a nice experience!

If you expect any kind of service or help from the employees, this isn’t the right hotel for you. The reception forgot my request for a phone charger despite me asking three times and waiting five hours. Parking in the hotel garage costs 35€ a day.

The Hotel itself is very nice. Service is very good, very friendly. The Rooms are nice, clean and relatively big. Breakfast is good and a lot. The Hotelbar is also worth a visit.

This is a decent hotel in a town without top hotels. Average breakfast, good WiFi, bland but well cared for decor. Small shop for snacks on premises. Located near the tram where you can teach the city center within 15 minutes you can find a very nice business hotel. Large rooms with very comfortable beds. The only small downfall I could find was the quality of the food not being consistent. The veal liver was undercooked, but this fault was duly corrected. I enjoy visiting this hotel

I chose this hotel as it was closer to the airport than where I had been staying to make catching the morning flight easier. This rooms are in need of a remodel. While they are acceptable, they seem to have been done last about 10 years ago. The restaurant food was delicious and I was even able to have dessert delivered to my room. Good service!

The room is quite good, more spacious than ibis, but there is no refrigerator. The breakfast is also good. The location is ok. It is a 7-minute walk to the public transportation and light rail. There is a large public space in the lobby on the first floor. Good reviews.

Stayed for two nights here, and overall would use again. The rooms were clean, with all we needed. No noise at night. Staff on front desk very helpful. Great hotel all round but was disappointed in no vanity and tooth brush kits all weekend. The water refill in the fridge could also be improved.  No hard boiled eggs for my pregnant wife. We were told it’s only soft. Amazing room none the less

The Van Der Valk hotel is absolutely stunning inside, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. I didnt use the Restaurant so i cannot advise on that but thr Bar is comfortable ,but service can be slow when busy ,only to be expected. Overall i highly rate it

I can only say that everything is average. The location is very close to the train station, about five minutes away. There is a tram downstairs, so it is quite noisy at night. We got here during the messe for the plastic industry. I have to say that is an average hotel with a superb team of employees that transform your experience into a five stars rating hotel. I also have to highlight how clean my room was on a daily basis and the closeness to the old town and easy transportation to anywhere.

What else is there? Its a basic clean and functional hotel. The rooms are a decent size and standard for an express hotel. Staff are the best element. Ideally located near an S bahn station and within a short walk of the old town. A few decent German traditional eateries nearby.
