Very clean and modern hotel. Very good selection for breakfast. It is away from the city (airport area) so no local restaurants in the area apart from the one in the hotel which serves a selection of meals for every taste. Works fine for one night stayover.

A nice modern hotel in a quiet area. Rooms have a fridge and an area for a microwave but the actual appliance is missing. There is a grocery store 5 minutes away across the bridge. The walk to the airport is 15-20 minutes. The same is true for the metro stations, one to the north and one to the south. They both are on the same "S" line. Taxi fare to the airport is about 10 euros.

There are 2 bus stops around the hotel that would take you back to the airport and from there there is public transport everywhere. The area is very quiet and full of office buildings. Some have refrigerators and others do not (Website says all rooms have refrigerators). Nice and clean hotel. Refurbished up to a certain level, but still an old hotel. The prices for overnight stays are ok, but for breakfast it's pretty high. The swimming pool is clean, but for the sauna you'll need to walk a bit outside, which is very cold when you just get out of it.

We needed a last minute hotel booked and we are so glad we chose this one! The shuttle from the airport and to the airport was very helpful and convenient since we didn't have to pay for a taxi. Kind of far from everything that I do want to visit in Dusseldorf (about 45ish mins away) and also they gave us no complimentary coffee or even water! But otherwise it was clean and nice and the room even came with a bathtub

We were given 4 bed (2 doubles) room in 4th floor for our 2 nights family stay. To get to our room in a lift you must to use physical metal key (given together with room key) but reception never bothered to tell us what extra key is for... otherwise lift will get you to second floor only, as there is no button to press for 4th floor. Rooms are a little tired and they still use keys for the doors!! However, what makes this a great stay is the great staff are the food is incredible, especially the bar meals in the evening with a beer and perfect ambience. That alone is worthy of 5 stars!!!

The room is standard clean, but the tub drainage is rusty, which I had a problem with. Maybe this is an aged hotel, and overall is a fine stay. This hotel is quite near the airport but excellent location between duisburg and dusseldorf. If you cannot stand some planes flying over at night or early morning then this is not a stay for you

Visited this hotel for a short stay on a weekend. Room was okay - even there has been a problem with the shower making noises at night. We were very disappointed by the breakfast though - advertised at 8,50 EUR (real price 10,50 EUR nowadays) due to options, freshness, etc.

The convenience of the location for the airport, the pleasant responsive staff, the furnishings (washer & dryer, etc.) make it easy to simply move in and live. Small meals are easy to order. Daily cleaning and linen service means hotel comfort in a proper setting with reasonable price. It is close to necessary places besides the airport: supermarket, transport, and good restaurants.

Nice place to stay if you want save money. Just 150-200 meters from the train station. Because it is the final station is very easy to plan and go wherever you want to. Very convinient to visit Altstadt without worrying about parking your car. Just board and pay inside the train. The hotel is simple but clean.

Got booked in here when flight from airport got cancelled, I have to say the the room is very nice along with the great reception staff named Walid, overall a lovely hotel.

The rooms were very big and beautiful, but the bed for the kids was very uncomfortable and noisy. The breakfast buffet was amazing, there were so many things to choose of and it was super delicious. With the check-in we had some problems because we couldn't open the door with our cards. There is a hot steam bath but it only opens from 3 p.m. which is a bit late.

All in all, the Hotel, the Breakfast and the meals is very good. Unfortunately, the rooms to the street are extremely loud. To sleep is not to think.

We had a late check-in, but they made that super easy. The rooms are very nice and have comfortable beds. The bathrooms were a bit snug, but not a problem. Everything was delightful and the breakfast is tasty. Parking was the only real problem. There were not enough reserved spaces and we had to park 'mildly' illegally. Thankfully no ticket.

I had such a nice memory at Barnarosa 4 years ago. This time I am afraid it was rather disappointing due to a smelly bathroom although I really like this family run hotel. A good budget hotel near the airport. Also local Rheinbahn train and bus depot is right behind the hotel. It makes your life easier to travel to the heart of city with ease. You should expect a regular Mercure Hotel. Nothing too fancy but serving its purpose. I booked accommodation and car parking for 14 days. The price value was extremely good. Regardless I didn’t expect the taxi costs to the airport (10-15 mins) to be between 40-50€ per way. Could have booked the DUS airport parking instead for less money. But my fault in doing enough research.

Clean, quiet, boring. All you need from a hotel for a night. Paid parking in front of the hotel. Free parking in front of the adjacent Ibis Budget, 30 meters away... Technical issues with the Wifi, therefore no Internet connection of any meaning. A unexpected moment of relaxation... Also, it's called Mercure DUS airport, but it's so far away from the actual airport that flight noise is no issue.

We were guests on the occasion of our wedding anniversary and were very satisfied with the food and drinks. The table was lovingly decorated, the service attentive. More is (almost) not possible 😉

The hotel is situated in a quiet area. During the day you can even hear the planes from time to time. The staff is friendly and courteous, the breakfast is good. For vegetarians there is cheese, sweet spread and egg. The city centre with restaurant, supermarkets and bars is just around the corner. Unfortunately, the iron you can borrow is a disaster.

Stayed here twice now. Immaculate hotel, very clean, good service. The reception staff are excellent, speaking great English (my German is very poor). A bit of a walk from the airport, but you can get the Sky train from the airport to the train station and walk from there, which is closer.

I liked this hotel, but not very much. I would not be a fan of their breakfast. It could have more variation. The room is comfortable, but I did not find anyone from the service who would take care of my messed-up room every day.Receptionists are good; it would be best if they smiled a little bit more.
