Our stay was required due to vehicle breakdown while on holiday from Scotland.Arrived Friday 27June. Arranged by vehicle recovery service. Staff very helpful. Bus stop 3 mins away to Ratingen then tram to Dusseldorf.Also near airport. Checked out after 4 Nights but vehicle not ready so returned for another night. Given same room. Very clean and made to feel welcome. Mostly occupied by short stay guests but hotel is all you require. Very good.

The hotel has apparently changed owners again. This is the third name change in 5 years. Formerly known as Tryp or Precise House, it is now called Four and belongs to the Marriott group. One should expect appropriate service there. However, this was not granted to us. We had already rated the hotel under its previous name. The conditions of the hotel remain unchanged regarding location, etc. Without a car, you are lost here. However, the service of the hotel has deteriorated significantly. We stayed in the hotel for 3 days. During these few days, neither was the bed made nor was it changed. The towels were also not replaced. Even toilet paper was not replenished. The entire room was not cleaned or tidied up. Upon inquiry at the reception, we were told that they would take care of it. However, something only happened after the 4th inquiry. The reception did apologize for this, but we have never experienced such poor service in any Marriott in the world. The staff either needs to be trained or replaced. This is unacceptable and condescending towards guests. A complaint to the Marriott headquarters has remained unanswered to this day, which gives us a lot to think about. Does the customer mean anything to the Marriott group? The only bright spot was the breakfast, which was acceptable so far. However, the preparation of omelets was denied under the excuse that it was not desired by the hotel. This is somewhat problematic for international guests, as the breakfast has not improved and does not offer enough for international guests. All in all, we can say that we will think carefully about staying at this hotel again. The service has become so awful that it is no longer acceptable for an international group like Marriott. On our next visit to the region, we are very likely to choose another hotel.

It is quite suitable for business trips, but the surrounding area is not very convenient. However, the whole hotel is very clean and tidy. It is recommended to come here if you rent a car. The hotel that was supposed to be acquired by Marriott was not well managed before, but it has been very good since the general manager was replaced.

The hotel has changed its name and is now called Four Hotel. We had a junior suite, which was very large but poorly furnished. The restaurant/bar was unfortunately closed. The breakfast is top-notch! Very large selection and everything is fresh. You can skip the sauna area, it's a small sauna. The steam room is out of order, the alternating baths are broken. Generally not particularly clean. The proximity to the airport is great. There are plenty of parking spaces.

room not very clean, we had torn pillowcase, the bath towel and sheets smelled very bad (cigarette), empty bottle of shampoo and body wash in the bathroom and we had to wate about 40 minutes to get one. Fisrt the receptionnist told us that he dosen't have any and that we have to wait until tomorrow morning. We ferused this option and insisted to have shampoo for hair. And he gave us one after 40 minutes. Breakfast room : no place to sit, tables not cleared, and when cleared, they were not cleaned. Several items were missing such as the, bread, etc and for each item we had to ask somebody and to wait until, he brings the missing item

The hotel was location was found with ease, staff was friendly on arrival spoke in good English, we were made comfortable on are stay also had are friends for breakfast one morning. It was nice clean room with a lot to do in area with shopping available near and Christmas market.

The hotel has no signs on the outside so it's hard to find, inadequate staff at reception, the room is large and beautiful but with 17 degrees and despite our complaints nothing changed in the two days I stayed, I heated it with the hairdryer, the second evening all the cards to open the doors didn't work and the two people at reception panicked to the point of giving the key to another room to me and a lady, I ask for a drink to take a pill and I'm told that the fridge is closed when a minute before he had given a bottle to another customer, while I make my complaints the guy leaves while I'm speaking. I definitely won't go back.

The rooms were very big and beautiful, but the bed for the kids was very uncomfortable and noisy. The breakfast buffet was amazing, there were so many things to choose of and it was super delicious. With the check-in we had some problems because we couldn't open the door with our cards. There is a hot steam bath but it only opens from 3 p.m. which is a bit late.

Got booked in here when flight from airport got cancelled, I have to say the the room is very nice along with the great reception staff named Walid, overall a lovely hotel.

But because half of staff was sick, the kitchen was closed. They have promised refund for dinner we didn't get. I have shown understanding when I heard it.
After a month, they still didn't refund.
Mails and phones were ignored or not replied.
I can't understand why such a hotel is playing this game for about 40 Euro's, they won't get rich with this amount.
Also, the room with airco we have booked for, seemed to have an airco which was out of work. Pretty warm in the summernight. We weren't warned in advance.
I DO NOT RECOMMAND THIS ACCOMODATION.
I am looking for a legal reaction for this attitude of this hotel.
