Nice hotel near the train station, about 20 minutes walk from the center. Modern equipment, clean environment. Great breakfast with enough choice. Absolutely ideal choice for 1-2 nights. The surroundings and the view from the hotel correspond to the location near the main train station. We waited a while at check-in., but it was understandable (pre-Christmas season).

Nice new Ibis hotel with friendly staff. Reduced parking fee for Accor All members (10 Euro). Location in walking distance to old town. Free welcome drink (at Novotel next door) and some treat (macarons) for platinum. If you don’t plan to stay a long time in the room but explore Regensburg, in my opinion it’s not necessary to pay a premium to stay at Novotel next door (same building).

A simple hotel with a beautiful small lake nearby! They have a decent buffet breakfast which i will definitely recommend! I stayed here for two nights for work purposes. They have lifts and parking spaces. The receptionist is very welcoming and speaks German and English fluently.

The hotel looks quite new and clean. It is located a bit further from the city center. When I informed the hotel that I was to arrive at the place two hours earlier than the usual check-in time, they tried to charge me additionally with fifthy percent of the room price.

Really nice place. The staff wears beautiful local clothes. The reception is open until 10 pm but it is possible to arrive later after informing the hotel. The staying at the hotel was nice, nice room. The breakfast was good as well. I was annoyed by the fitness room that closes at 8 pm, usually they are open for longer, and the sauna it is a joke, it is a small room with naked old people, which I didn't wanted to join, so I've said pass to it. Beautiful hotel converted from historical building. I visited during November, the heating system is perfect. The only disadvantage is they don’t provide toiletries others than shower gel and shampoo, make sure you bring your own. The German style of breakfast full of variety of choices. We got what we wanted, a German hotel, not some large chain hotel. Convenient location next to massive centuries old church and within walking distance to great restaurants, beer halls, shops and Danube River where cruise long boats dock. Have used this hotel many times. Is in the heart of the old town and gives great walking access to everything. Secure parking is fairly close - a 5 minute walk. Hotel is comfortable enough, with a reasonable buffet breakfast. It is an old building and decor is a little tired, but staff are pleasant and efficient. In summary, an excellent launching pad for a city visit that is reasonably priced.
