The service we experienced during our stay was the real bright spot. Every morning when I went down to get two cups of coffee to take back to the room, one of the breakfast servers always ran to hit the elevator button for me as my hands were full. Also, a special thanks to Leon Aschenbach at the front desk who went out of his way to make sure we had the nicest room he could offer us. We really appreciated his hospitality and extra efforts.
Update 18-4-25: While visiting this time they also have improved on their service-level...like they have done since my first stay. Staff is really very nice: natural kindness, busy making a stay an experience in which they again have succeeded. This time I have the "penthouse" (room 618) with magnificant view on the cosy City of Regensburg. FYI: breakfast is each and every morning g.r.e.a.t. !

Location is quite near train station. Bus stop just outside too.
Walkable to a few decent eateries. Uber available.
The rooms were impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect sanctuary to unwind after a long day.
Breakfast was another highlight of my stay. It was well organized, offering a variety of delicious options to suit all tastes. I appreciated the effort put into ensuring that everything was fresh and presented beautifully.
I highly recommend and i will definitely be booking again for my next visit!
The rooms themselves are clean, neat, but basic. They have everything you would need, but nothing very extravagant. But everything that you have works well.
A bonus is an inbuilt speaker, which is great.
The staff is polite and helpful, and speak English too, just ask them nicely.
Parking might not be available, but there is a parking lot nearby, so you can opt for that.
Personally, I would highly recommend the hotel. It would definitely be my choice in Regensburg.
We waited a while at check-in., but it was understandable (pre-Christmas season).
