The rooms were nicely design and clean. The reason for my 3 stars is that it was a basic hotel and the location was not ideal while charging 17 euros for parking. Additionally the receptionist at the time of the check in couldn’t speak proper English. We had a very basic question if we could drink the tap water and he brought us a bottle of water.

The rooms are too sparse. No coffee maker, no mini fridge and really no furniture other than a bean bag on the floor. It's simply not practical to work (or do anything really) with one bean bag in the corner as the only piece of furniture other than the bed. And the rooms are decent size so they would easily fit some real chairs and at least one table or a desk. The location also isn't the most convenient so be prepared to walk 15 - 20 minutes to get to the city center.
The service we experienced during our stay was the real bright spot. Every morning when I went down to get two cups of coffee to take back to the room, one of the breakfast servers always ran to hit the elevator button for me as my hands were full. Also, a special thanks to Leon Aschenbach at the front desk who went out of his way to make sure we had the nicest room he could offer us. We really appreciated his hospitality and extra efforts.

This hotel has become "home" to me over the years. Very friendly lovely staff who are true hosts and make you feel cherished, beautiful rooms and amazing breakfast that even makes standing up a nice thing to do. Located near the main station, walking distance from Ravishing Regensburg, this hotel will remain being "home" when visiting this area.
Update 18-4-25: While visiting this time they also have improved on their service-level...like they have done since my first stay. Staff is really very nice: natural kindness, busy making a stay an experience in which they again have succeeded. This time I have the "penthouse" (room 618) with magnificant view on the cosy City of Regensburg. FYI: breakfast is each and every morning g.r.e.a.t. !

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this hotel, and I can't say enough about the exceptional experience I had. The overall standard of the hotel and the service provided by the staff were truly outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, making me feel right at home.
The rooms were impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect sanctuary to unwind after a long day.
Breakfast was another highlight of my stay. It was well organized, offering a variety of delicious options to suit all tastes. I appreciated the effort put into ensuring that everything was fresh and presented beautifully.
I highly recommend and i will definitely be booking again for my next visit!

It is a great hotel. It does the job well: Has a 24 hr check in, so late night trains, buses, and flights are no problem. Located next to bus stops and main junctions, so not a problem for connectivity. The view from the room is good too.
The rooms themselves are clean, neat, but basic. They have everything you would need, but nothing very extravagant. But everything that you have works well.
A bonus is an inbuilt speaker, which is great.
The staff is polite and helpful, and speak English too, just ask them nicely.
Parking might not be available, but there is a parking lot nearby, so you can opt for that.
Personally, I would highly recommend the hotel. It would definitely be my choice in Regensburg.

Nice hotel near the train station, about 20 minutes walk from the center. Modern equipment, clean environment. Great breakfast with enough choice. Absolutely ideal choice for 1-2 nights. The surroundings and the view from the hotel correspond to the location near the main train station.

Cons At check in they where neither fluent in German or English. So we struggled to communicate, very unpatient and motionless receptionistin. Didn't feel welcome. No explanations about how to use roomkeys for elevator and lights. The day we left. At checkout we encountered a seemingly drunk person sleeping by the entrance on the couch , with belly showing . Not a good reputation for a hotel .

We were expecting a pleasant, comfortable stay and that's not what we got :(
Queen sized bed was listed but we received two singles pushed together that didn't stay in place. The water pressure in the shower was terrible and the temperature changed constantly. The body wash provided smelt terrible. There were some strange splatters on the wall that looked like blood (see image attached). There was no fridge, kettle, tea or coffee in the room. Our key card stopped working mid way through our stay and it took a long time to amend due to two of the elevators not working. It was very difficult to get to and from our room as a result.
Breakfast had a very limited selection, we went a little later and there was only one kind of bread left which was disgusting. There were very limited milk free options for my lactose intolerant boyfriend. The "hot" food (eggs) were almost empty, had gone cold, was watery, rubbery and pretty much inedible. When we got to breakfast many tables were vacant but had not been cleaned. We had to eat on a table with crumbs and bits of food on it. Overall extremely disappointing breakfast, was very cheap but still not worth the price. Go to McDonalds at the train station instead

1 star is just because they accomodate us at 2:30 in the morning. We came here urgently and price on the booking was 75€, so I wanted to book it beforehand. The receptionist said they have a problem with booking, so we needed to pay 89€ in the reception. For that money you assume you will get nicer apartment ans during the summer you would expect at least a fridge for that price. Reality is different. Also, 18€ for the parking, really? This price for the "room" does not suit your given service.
EDIT: I cant reach you by phone, i call, ask a woman if she speaks english and she hangs up.. Next call I press a buttom that your line on the phone is asking me, and immediately the call is disrupted

We were nervous about staying here after reading the reviews on Google but were pleasantly surprised. Really nice hotel, no issue with staff and was bicycle parking too! For the price don't think we could have got better in the area.
