Regensburg, Kirchmeierstraße 8 🧭 Map
The receptionist gave us the wrong info of the bus services and for us to realised after waiting for an hour that it was a public holiday and bus services are disrupted and of different schedule.
The rooms are too sparse. No coffee maker, no mini fridge and really no furniture other than a bean bag on the floor. It's simply not practical to work (or do anything really) with one bean bag in the corner as the only piece of furniture other than the bed. And the rooms are decent size so they would easily fit some real chairs and at least one table or a desk. The location also isn't the most convenient...
Good facilities and nice staffs.
The rooms were nicely design and clean. The reason for my 3 stars is that it was a basic hotel and the location was not ideal while charging 17 euros for parking. Additionally the receptionist at the time of the check in couldn’t speak proper English. We had a very basic question if we could drink the tap water and he brought us a bottle of water.
This hotel has become "home" to me over the years. Very friendly lovely staff who are true hosts and make you feel cherished, beautiful rooms and amazing breakfast that even makes standing up a nice thing to do. Located near the main station, walking distance from Ravishing Regensburg, this hotel will remain being "home" when visiting this area.
Update 18-4-25: While visiting this time they also have...
Friendly reception , mostly young energetic staff.
Breakfast is basic and okay
Location is quite near train station. Bus stop just outside too.

What i did miss in my room was probably small disk with chair for using my laptop the small table inside the room was not sufficient but still nice experience :)
Nice hotel with great location and friendly staff great for short business trip
Excellent hotel. Nice, modern layout, great rooms, comfortable beds and very friendly staff.
Insider tip: skip breakfast in the hotel (way too expensive) and go to the bakery next door instead.
We just slept over for one night on our way to the final destination. Loved the hotel, staff was super kind already over the phone (we booked super last minute) and even more when we got there. Room was super clean-have not seen for a while such a clean bathroom and room water heater (always a big “no-go” for me). We also had breakfast; plenty of options for everybody to find something they like. Can...
We stayed for 2 nights in June 2025. The staff were so helpful in helping us locate landmarks, make dinner reservations and call us taxi’s. The rooms were modern and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. It was a short walk to the old town so very convenient for exploring. We would happily stay here again!
Spent 2 nights at the hotel. Modern and well maintained building, stylish public areas and stylish room. Has an underground car park and is an easy 15 minute stroll to the town’s historic centre. Nice buzz to the bar with professional service. Really can’t fault the hotel in any way.
5 stars
We had a fantastic stay at Novotel Regensburg – truly perfect for families! The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern, with thoughtful touches that made traveling with kids so much easier. The staff was super friendly and always helpful, whether it was with extra towels, kid-friendly tips, or just a warm smile.
Our kids especially loved the play area and the breakfast buffet – lots of choices...

Friendly staff. The mattress needs replacing. A thin topper won't help. You should ask reception for a quiet room (at the back of the building). Breakfast is OK. The center is 5 km away by car.
A very well managed clean hotel.
Very comfortable beds, great shower and delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!
Great business hotel in general and staff very helpful. I've stayed here many times. The only trouble I have with this hotel is the Wi-Fi. It is sometimes very slow or intermittent, and in some rooms further away from the center there is no reach, for example room 145. Please fix this or my entire company will need to find another hotel.
Very nice hotel about 4km from the old city, clean and renovated. Spacious bedroom with nice amenities and comfy bed. Breakfast with several options and ample restaurant. Easy parking at the hotel garage, good pricing per day (10 Euros).

Clean room. Great breakfast. Beautiful hotel. Very convenient and walkable. Staff was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed chatting with Stephanie very much!!
Lovely helpful staff and a great location, close to shopping, restaurants, and located on a beautiful square.
The hotel is a superb historic medieval building with the nuanced design and architectural uniqueness. There are little limitations in terms of elevators and getting around. Toilet are super tiny.
The hotel rooms are in a renovated Altstadt building which results in some "quirks" which include an elevator to the floor one's room is on, but there may still be a few up and down stairs to negotiate with luggage to get to one's room. We (my daughter and I) travel lightly, so this was not an issue, and we had a good chuckle about the logistics.
There are lots of restaurant choices within a five...
Old hotel in Regensburg center not very comfortabl
A small but nice hotel im old Center of Regensburg. Difficult to access, Taxi would not bring you to the place because is in walking streets not always open tu cars. Firstly the lobby and the Rezeption was really up to date(modern),but the room we had was very small , specially the bathroom. Would be nice to have a little more space for the bathroom. In all the room price was acceptable. Would like to thank the friendly staff, who did our check-in (Frau Elke)was very friendly and helpful.
Stayed here for one night. The room was very cozy with a nice view of the railway tracks. The breakfast was also nice. The staff were very nice and kind, and they communicated with genuine kindness about something I had forgotten at the hotel.
Fourth floor room with vaulted ceiling meant that we couldn't actually see out the window, which was about seven feet off the ground. But the room was spacious and modern, plenty warm and clean with nice floors and furniture. Noise from the hallway is a bit disturbing. Parking is validated and slightly cheaper at around 10€/day. Pretty central location, 10 minutes' walk to the old city center, and...
The room was clean and spacious - high ceilings definitely a plus! The staff was courteous and assisted with finding late night food. Parking is conveniently located directly under the hotel and the front desk will provide you with a discount stamp upon request. The location is not prime - and with that I would say it is overpriced compared to the cheaper, more conveniently located options in the area...
The reception is as mentioned on their homepage really 24h available and the service is great even when your are arriving really late in the night. The rooms are for a budget friendly and central hotel not bad. The small bath room has enough room that someone can take a shower while someone else brushes his /her teeth. The beds are comfortable not perfect because the pillows are too shallow for a little...

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The room was comfortable, modern, and clean, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day. Additionally, the hotel’s location was very convenient, close to public transport, making it easy to explore the...
Rooms are very modern. Not so much my style, they don't have a cozy feeling to me. But the bed was big and comfortable. A lot of these type of hotels are now very sparingly supplied, no lotions, washclothes, in this one only a bathtowel per person, no hand towels at all. No free coffee or coffee makers in room. Only full breakfast option.
Front desk personnel very helpful and friendly.

super clean and friendly hotel, but the rooms are a bit small and offer not much storage space. nice design though!
overall, it's definitely worth the price, but next time we will stay somewhere closer to the old town.
Nice new Ibis hotel with friendly staff. Reduced parking fee for Accor All members (10 Euro). Location in walking distance to old town. Free welcome drink (at Novotel next door) and some treat (macarons) for platinum. If you don’t plan to stay a long time in the room but explore Regensburg, in my opinion it’s not necessary to pay a premium to stay at Novotel next door (same building).

A simple hotel with a beautiful small lake nearby! They have a decent buffet breakfast which i will definitely recommend! I stayed here for two nights for work purposes. They have lifts and parking spaces. The receptionist is very welcoming and speaks German and English fluently.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. I love it because it's right off the freeway, next to PM Power Meals, a place with delicious bowls, and it's dog friendly. Last time I checked in my dog got a treat from the reception. How nice. It's an ok place to sleep for a few nights. I don't like that once my toilet was visibly not clean when I entered my room, and that the stuff is easily overwhelmed sometimes...
A Memorable Stay at Ibis Styles Regensburg

As for one night stay the hotel is more than ok. Bar and restaurant in good standard with tasty italian dishes. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean.
Breakfast was so poor... They have to put more stuff for the people, just an omelet and the other's was cerial and cheese, salami and bread. The room was really good.
The staff is very helpful. This year for the first time we had a flaw in the service, which was solved in a gteat way by colleages (restaurant staff evening service).

Good service and environmentally friendly
This is a newly opened hotel with relatively new facilities. It's located right by the roadside, about a 20-minute drive from Dahao Plaza in the city center. Breakfast is a buffet with a decent variety, and parking is convenient.
Could be better
Evening buffet was overpriced for what it was, and if you forget to bring back the empty bottle of water at check-out you’ll be charged 10,- euro ! Why can’t they just bring it back when they clean the room, which wasn’t to good, no vacuum cleaning for five days. Therevwhere no towels in spa area or drinking water in the gym, and no fridge in the room.
Clean and large room
Very good hotel fornsleep over and continue our road trip.
They told first that there were no available parking for us but they found a space in the small garage.
The worker at the check in was very intrusive with his questions. Asking why are we checking in when we’re just living in Regensburg, as if we’re not allowed to stay at a hotel just because we live in Regensburg. Told us there was no parking available anywhere in their hotel so we had to find a parking on the streets which was very hard to find. Room was very clean though.
The room is super big, the decoration style is also quite simple, and the breakfast variety is quite rich. It is a good house for this business trip. If you come again next time, I recommend staying here

This hotel had nice spacious rooms. They were quiet and clean. There is no air conditioning but we requested a fan which helped. One drawback is that the elevator doesn't go to the main floor, meaning you have to carry your bags up the first flight of steps. For my taste the bed was too hard. There are numerous free parking spaces in front of the hotel, but they're usually very full in the evenings, and finding a spot is a matter of luck.
