Excellent hotel. Nice, modern layout, great rooms, comfortable beds and very friendly staff. Insider tip: skip breakfast in the hotel (way too expensive) and go to the bakery next door instead.

We just slept over for one night on our way to the final destination. Loved the hotel,staff was super kind already over the phone (we booked super last minute) and even more when we got there. Room was super clean-have not seen for a while such a clean bathroom and room water heater (always a big “no-go” for me). We stayed for 2 nights in June 2025. The staff were so helpful in helping us locate landmarks, make dinner reservations and call us taxi’s. The rooms were modern and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. It was a short walk to the old town so very convenient for exploring. We would happily stay here again!

Spent 2 nights at the hotel. Modern and well maintained building, stylish public areas and stylish room. Has an underground car park and is an easy 15 minute stroll to the town’s historic centre. Nice buzz to the bar with professional service. Really can’t fault the hotel in any way.

5 stars We had a fantastic stay at Novotel Regensburg – truly perfect for families! The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern, with thoughtful touches that made traveling with kids so much easier. The staff was super friendly and always helpful, whether it was with extra towels, kid-friendly tips, or just a warm smile. Friendly staff. The mattress needs replacing. A thin topper won't help. You should ask reception for a quiet room (at the back of the building). Breakfast is OK. The center is 5 km away by car.

Great business hotel in general and staff very helpful. I've stayed here many times. The only trouble I have with this hotel is the Wi-Fi. It is sometimes very slow or intermittent, and in some rooms further away from the center there is no reach, for example room 145. Please fix this or my entire company will need to find another hotel.

The hotel is a superb historic medieval building with the nuanced design and architectural uniqueness. There are little limitations in terms of elevators and getting around. Toilet are super tiny.

The hotel rooms are in a renovated Altstadt building which results in some "quirks" which include an elevator to the floor one's room is on, but there may still be a few up and down stairs to negotiate with luggage to get to one's room. The hotel is located in an industrial area and is within walking distance of many companies and facilities. It is considered very good in the local area.

A simple hotel with a beautiful small lake nearby! They have a decent buffet breakfast which i will definitely recommend! I stayed here for two nights for work purposes. They have lifts and parking spaces. The receptionist is very welcoming and speaks German and English fluently.

This is a newly opened hotel with relatively new facilities. It's located right by the roadside, about a 20-minute drive from Dahao Plaza in the city center. Breakfast is a buffet with a decent variety, and parking is convenient.

Could be better Evening buffet was overpriced for what it was, and if you forget to bring back the empty bottle of water at check-out you’ll be charged 10,- euro ! Why can’t they just bring it back when they clean the room, which wasn’t to good, no vacuum cleaning for five days. Therevwhere no towels in spa area or drinking water in the gym, and no fridge in the room.

The worker at the check in was very intrusive with his questions. Asking why are we checking in when we’re just living in Regensburg, as if we’re not allowed to stay at a hotel just because we live in Regensburg. Told us there was no parking available anywhere in their hotel so we had to find a parking on the streets which was very hard to find. Room was very clean though.

The room is super big, the decoration style is also quite simple, and the breakfast variety is quite rich. It is a good house for this business trip. If you come again next time, I recommend staying here

Used this hotel for a school trip. Rooms are lovely, staff are great, perfect location for getting to our partner school and also for bus stops to get to Regensburg city centre easily. Breakfast was great.

Came here to visit my dad’s best friend or my uncle 2 years ago and my family and i enjoyed the hotel. The hotel looked antique and old fashioned. The rooms were very good but it was cold but i guess it’s me that i feel cold. However, the staffs were friendly and beautiful but i was shy to call them beautiful ☺️ but the rest we enjoyed. :)

The spa area is superb and super clean. Plenty of space to relax and beautiful garten. The rooms are of a good size, comfortable and quiet and breakfast is very good and varied, and included. Plenty of parking place just in front of the hotel.

We Wall by and decided to drop in for a beer. Very charming and romantic inside with a beer garden in the back. We ordered a couple of beers and then the waitress tempted us with Kaiserschmarrn. Really big and really good. Would definitely go back when in Regensburg again.

Classic Bavarian food and decor, we shared the Pfandl and Kaiserschmarrn and were very full. We sat facing the kitchen and every dish that came out looked appealing! Would go again and recommend to others.

This is a fantasticly characterful hotel, the rooms are very spacious and furnished with a real mix of cultures that have been brought together very tastefully and gives wonderful infusion of European nationalities. Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Reception staff were very cheerful and helpful and even made a nice compliment about our rental car! I've stayed at this hotel several times during my business trips in Regensburg, and each time I had a very pleasant stay there.

Wait until construction is done The hotel is under renovation and there were wires hanging from the ceiling. Carpets torn up, new doors and construction equipment around the lobby and corridors to your room. It was loud very early in the morning due to construction work outside our windows.

Rooms were clean and well maintained, staff friendly and attentive for both hotel and restaurant. They were in the middle of an electrical referb so all the corridors were filled with protective carpeting, hanging wires and workers. Rooms could do with AC, it got warm and humid.

Really nice place. The staff wears beautiful local clothes. The reception is open until 10 pm but it is possible to arrive later after informing the hotel. The room was clean, there’s no air conditioning in the rooms. There was a fan available though. The breakfast is really good. The kitchen can prepare fresh eggs, omelettes.
