The guy at the reception was so nice and helpful, I wish all hotels had this kind. You get free train / bus around the lake (german side). There is a private beach (no sand) open 24/7, table tennis , giant chess, and kids stuff.

The view was amazing but I recommend this place for families and not couples or groups of friends since there isn't much to do in and around the property. It does make for a good break from the city life though

The hotel exceeds expectations! Design, all in excellent condition, new furniture! The food is good, cleaning every day, beach! For children even has its own programme of evening, children's Playground, respectively, but many families with children! Suggest!!!!

I stayed at the hotel with my wife for 2 nights over the weekend to finally have time without children again :) We were really super satisfied. The room was nice and cozy, we had a view of the lake from the balcony, we got our breakfast in the room (another 5 * for that) and we really felt at home. A good traditional german hotel ,great breakfast with good food and drink,beer garden ,weather permitted,quiet location,comfortable rooms and friendly staff.Two points to note,english word is not good but you can get by and there is no evening or night life in Reichenau except small cosy restaurants.If you want peace and quiet this is the place.

Beautiful Hotel in stunning surroundings! In the room we were lacking only a full-body mirror and at the front Desk we would have liked a little more info. The food in the Restaurant is highly recommended, also the Spa area. Overall, very stylish and with a lot of dedication. We will be back.

The guest house is prepared with a lot of care and love. We stayed one night in transit and wished we could stay a week! Stefan has put into practice a good Corona measures concept. We spent a weekend with my husband in the Guesthouse and we really enjoyed it. The location is great, we reached a lot of amazing places just walking and the view of the rooms to the lake is an spectacle. The breakfast is delicious and the team running the place is super friendly and open to help if you need anything. We are looking forward to be back the next season !

Lovely quiet area by the lake, with easy parking. Owner is very accomodating and friendly. Rooms are spacious and bunk beds very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was always great, with a variety of options to suit everyone's tastes. Closest ferry was a 25 min walk or a 5 min drive. Area close to the ferry has all the amenities one may need. Highly recommended.

Super equipped and nice and cool with the air conditioning in summer. The bathroom and the fully equipped kitchen are particularly good. The "Samba Staircase" is a little bit adventurous and can easily hurt yourself. The star deduction is there for the fact that there is no pool and a table tennis table, you can expect that in this price range. All in all, it is very recommendable.

The apartments are very modern equipped - even with air conditioning - very high standard. Defects: Too few and too narrow parking spaces. In addition, a few basic things are missing, such as a table tennis table. A small pool would also be desirable in this price range.

The NaturFreundehaus Bodensee is located in Markelfingen and is right by the lake. On a sunny day (especially when school holidays are taking place) it can become quite full, so I would recommend you come with a bike or so. The parking lot can become quite full. Clean and large rooms. Service from all the staff is very good. Excellent breakfast with a large selection of food. There is a parking lot adjacent to the hotel. Indoor parking is available for an additional fee. Highly recommended.

Positive: The room was decent sized, fairly clean. The free breakfast was not bad. Negative: Can't lock the bathroom door, clogged shower, slow receptionist. The breakfast can get quite busy and people run into each other a lot due to not great flowline planning.

Breakfast was good. Bus stop right in front. Lake and restaurants 5min walk. No pool, only gym. Security could be improved.

The family room is spacious, the hotel breakfast room is large, the parking lot is in the public area opposite and needs to be paid, the breakfast is quite rich, the hotel is convenient for travel, and it is very close to the Swiss port.

Clean comfortable room, in-room A/C, excellent breakfast, friendly helpful staff, good value for the money. So why only four stars? We were on the sixth floor (the top floor) and it was very warm. The front desk is very nice. The hotel is not in the city center but they will give you a bus voucher which takes only about ten minutes and can be used for two days. Although we didn't use it, hahaha. There are Aldi, Lidl and gas stations around. Parking is free, which is very good. The room is big and the breakfast is OK. Recommended for self-driving. The double room/apartment is very nicely furnished. There is a large bathroom, small kitchenette and even a small balcony. We were received very friendly. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and is beautifully prepared. The location is of course also great, almost directly at the train station. Nice, modern hotel with an attached restaurant where breakfast is served in the morning. The hotel is located directly at the train station. With the window closed, the trains could not be heard. The lakeshore is just a few minutes' walk away. The on-site team is very friendly and courteous and responded quickly to my emails when I made the booking.

Very clean and contemporary suites. Newly built after fire. Suites are very comfortable and well sized with stocked kitchen and facilities. Sauna is in original cellar area (low ceilings). The restaurant was not open but breakfast room was available. Pet friendly.

A standard hotel with good value for money. Far from the city center, and check-in is complicated after 10 p.m. because the reception is closed. The reservation number I had didn't work. There's an emergency number you have to call to get a new one.

It took around 20-30 minutes to arrive at the hotel from the train station by taking bus 6. The hotel is comfortable and affordable if you're on a budget or just stay for a night. They offer breakfast, the bus station is near, supermarket like norma and Kaufland is abt 300 meters from the hotel, and you also have McDonald's and burger king just near it.

The room is a standard chain hotel. As a hotel for independent travelers, the area is large enough and worth recommending. The location is also quiet in a bustling city, and there is a supermarket nearby, which is worth recommending.

The hardware is a bit old, with only reception service at the front desk (pay the card directly when checking out). Breakfast is extra, and the price/performance ratio is not high.
