Reception is no non-stop,but if you are late coming you must go for the key to the Shell fuelstation. Very clean and new hotel!

For 3 hours I fiddle with thermostat, no heating came. I called the receptionist. The receptionist called her manager. I set the thermostat at 35°C, the air conditioning unit was blowing air, but the air was cold. The grill (air vents) in front of the blowing unit was cold because no warm air at all was coming through. At all.
The manager didn't even looked at me, she looked at the AC unit on the ceiling, then turned to the receptionist and said "ok".
Receptionist told me to wait for half an hour. The blown air was cold, the grill (air vents) of the AC unit was cold (the one through which the air is blown). In effect, the thermostat was set to 35°C, but the AC (air conditioning) was cooling the room.
After 30 minutes, for the second time I went to the receptionist downstairs and explained, the receptionist shrugged her shoulders and said "but she's the manager". Like, if she said it's ok, then it's ok. Outside is -2°C. That's not ok.
The employees of the hotel - starting with the manager - should have common sense and see that AC was defective (not heating).
This is a hotel where I should be comfortable, cosy and relaxed, but I felt like I'm in a boot camp where I should be quiet and accept whatever the manager decide - defying common sense and ignoring my explanations.
I went to my car and took some paracetamol & ibuprofen, I'll be ok for the night.
Most definitely I will not return. And I do not recommend this hotel. At all.
Also, for the manager - you're in breach of GDPR act - you're keeping my details without my consent in the hotel database for 6 years!
Oh, and, you see that picture attached? That's a little bug I killed when was creeping next me on the bed. Probably he was being cold too.

Hotel adjacent to a rest area on the highway
The inside of the hotel rooms are clean, and the employees are generally not unfriendly. The hotel is located in a highway rest area, so you have to drive 8km round trip to get to the other side. There is no refrigerator or water boiler in the room, and there is no shared refrigerator. If this isn't an inconvenience, it's not a bad facility for the price.

Just a Below average hotel. 5 star staff
The lady on the reception was fantastic, made the check in very easy.
The room? One bottle of mineral water for two people? And how am I supposed to drink it? From the bottle? Because no cups were provided, or should I bring our own cups? No usb charging points,

Convenient structure for travellers, clean, quiet, excellent breakfast, convenient parking, proximity to a motorway service station for eating or near there is Heusenstamm with several restaurants. Kindness and professionalism expressed by all the staff. Until we meet again.
