Beautiful place in a very cute and historic town

This hotel is amazing. The couple that owns the hotel go above and beyond to make your stay magical. I highly recommend booking a dinner with them-the food is incredible. Everything is wonderful-location, cleanliness, rooms, ambiance, food, customer service. If we ever get the chance to return to Rothenburg, we are most definitely staying here again.

Very friendly staff who is eager to help and explain the history of the hotel. It is a historical building so do not expect a lot. The beddings can be a bit more comfortable though. No aircon but it is indicated. Location is excellent right in the centre of the ancient town of Rothenburg. Parking is available which is a nice surprise.

What a beautiful town this hotel is in, very old and exquisite, our experience at the hotel was let down by the bathroom ( in our room anyway). I challenge anyone other than a 6 year old child to be able to comfortably use the toilet , it is jammed between the bath tub and the wall ,if it weren't so impossible to use to would have been hilarious

Me and friend stay here for one night, and we are very satisfied! Very central location, only one minute to the central square. The room is big and comfy and the bathroom is spacious and well decorated. The only one concern I have is regards the view from the windows. Our room is facing the wall of the neighboring building and there is not much to see. The peak is that there is zero-to-non noise though

Great location in the middle of everything. You can walk entire village from here and see the many sites. The front desk spoke English and was very accommodating. The room was nice, good size. Beautiful old hotel right in the middle of Rothenburg. If you want to envelop yourself in the culture and not stay at a 'Holiday Inn', this is the experience you want. Cozy little restaurant on site, with parking a few blocks away in a locked garage. Beautiful interior and exterior, comfortable rooms and beds. Walk anywhere you want to in town.

We had dinner here last night, it was a welcoming and warm experience. Loved it. Today we happened to pass by and I was urgent. The staff didn’t hesitate to allow me to use the bathroom even though I didn’t eat breakfast here. 😃

The room was very clean and quite large. I missed a mini-fridge and air conditioning ( which I was aware of when booking), but I realized the loss of comfort without those two amenities. The Service was very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent.

We LOVED this hotel. We had a beautiful room with a great view. The room was spacious, the staff was wonderful. We had a good breakfast each morning and we ate dinner and had drinks at the hotel one night while we were there. I loved the charm of this hotel and of our 2 week stay in southern Germany, it was actually one of my favorites. Highly recommend.

Very cool suite over the front entrance...great ambience in this scenic German village. The staff is outstanding and helpful; I liked the way the managers checked up on customers. The availability of their restaurant and terrace for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and/or a beer/wine was convenient...top notch menu and food quality. Not a bad meal to be had...

Excellent experience. I can't say enough good things about it. The hotel is right in the middle of the old town, close to everything. Its absolutely charming and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was modern and had good water pressure. The spa was beautiful and relaxing. The staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout. I will recommend it to everyone and hopefully come back...

I think everyone has that picture in there head of a cute little town, cozy and nice food and drink. Well this place was definitely that picture. I'm glad we ended up eating here, the food was beyond expectations. And the building is wonderful. The room did feel a bit small and the pink color was more liked by my partner than myself. Absolutely loved all aspects of the hotel. Beautiful historic building and we had the most gorgeous view of the church right outside our room window. The room was beautifully clean and bathroom modern. Breakfast was delicious and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The sauna facilities were also exceptional.

You could not pick a more perfect location in Rothernburg. This hotel is a real charmer and we loved the old historic vibe to it. I stayed only one night in room 7. The wifi was very slow. The room has a climatization problem. Even with all the heaters turned off, the room was very warm. I turned on the air conditioner and it was not answering the commands. I was freezing during the night. As most off German hotels, the blankets are very small. Maybe it's a good idea to ask for an extra one. The bathroom is very spacious

Location is perfect! Room had a fan and mini fridge, and our view was of the garden. There is a small indoor play space and a lounge with a beer vending machine. The restaurant is beautiful but our booth had spider webs, dust, and a dead spider on it. The room itself for dinner is gorgeous. I feel we paid about €50 too much, but the location is prime.

Good location. The room is good but not really practice. You can hear the toilet from the rooms above you. You cannot watch TV from your bed. There is no safety box. We considered that 500€++ for 2 nights was not worth. Breakfast was wonderful. The ladies at the breakfast were very friendly. Upon departure, no asking feedback from us even no "Thank you" was said from the lady at the front desk.

We had a great stay at a nice facility, that is conveniently located for sightseeing in the Old City of Rothenburg.

Great location, right outside Galgentor gate. And just past the P4 parking is a spielplatz for the kids. Few good restaurants nearby as well. We had a mixup with the rooms in the beginning but then it was sorted. The facilities are good, rooms are well appointed. Of course being a small hotel in Germany there is no AC, so keep that in mind. On site restaurant was closed for vacation in August!

I was looking for a non typical Bavarian place in Rothenberg and found the correct place. Staff is friendly and helpful. The common kitchen in the entrance is a real treat. Comfortable, close to the walls, to the big parking area, nice walk to reach the center. Good breakfast, open max till 10 pm but if you have the key there is a second entrance for nights

Very nice hotel, in a real fantastic position inside the walls of the city, rooms almost clean. One point to be improved: the isolation between the rooms, you can hear the voice of the guest close to you...the staff is very nice, special mention to the receptionist

Talk about being whisked into the past! Your behind the castle walls. Cute little city. I recommend getting there at night and walking around before the tour buses in the morning. It’s quiet and no cars. Bars all close early but you can get pictures with no one around.

I stayed at this hotel during July 2017. The hotel itself was super nice with great views, but what I really wanted to mention was the great service from one of the waiters, Frances. I know this is a late review and I meant to write it a lot sooner--but Frances was so friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcomed, from setting out a cute little name tag to overall just being so helpful...

Traditional meets non traditional...The alter ego is carefully designed in a boutique fashion with new age flair with class and comfort. Tough to get all that at once but it's done there very tastefully. Possible inconveniences: no phones in the rooms to reach front desk, you have to walk to the main building for breakfast or downstairs to make your tea/coffee but not bad in my opinion...who needs...

Only stayed one night. The room was spacious and comfortable and clean. Drinks and snacks available in the room. Good sized, well equipped bathroom. Lovely common dining area. Friendly staff.

We try to visit every couple of months to enjoy a long weekend. The hotel is beautiful, handled with love, and the owner makes sure your special. The entrance to the Therme is very convenient and we just adore spending time there.

Ok location close to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Rooms were clean and large but no aircon on a hot summer day. Good breakfast. Some staff only talked german. Didn't use the spa witch is the big thing there.
