Very friendly staff who is eager to help and explain the history of the hotel. It is a historical building so do not expect a lot. The beddings can be a bit more comfortable though. No aircon but it is indicated. Location is excellent right in the centre of the ancient town of Rothenburg. Parking is available which is a nice surprise.

What a beautiful town this hotel is in, very old and exquisite, our experience at the hotel was let down by the bathroom ( in our room anyway). I challenge anyone other than a 6 year old child to be able to comfortably use the toilet , it is jammed between the bath tub and the wall ,if it weren't so impossible to use to would have been hilarious

Me and friend stay here for one night, and we are very satisfied! Very central location, only one minute to the central square. The room is big and comfy and the bathroom is spacious and well decorated. The only one concern I have is regards the view from the windows. Our room is facing the wall of the neighboring building and there is not much to see. The peak is that there is zero-to-non noise though

Staff were friendly on arrival and were able to provide us with secure underground parking which was a must during our journey. The room was spacious, perhaps slightly outdated but clean nonetheless - with a good bath too. Very quiet and authentic German hotel. Large, spacious room. Still not used to the traditional German bedding. We are used to sharing covers. Perfect location for taking a stroll in the evening to enjoy what the city has to offer. Loved hearing the church bells on the whole & half hour. Very good breakfast.

I had a wonderful stay here. The room and bathroom are spacious. It was well heated and very clean. Staff are very friendly. The breakfast was one of the best I've had do far during my travels around Germany due to variety and quality. The location is great as it's a few minutes walk to the town center. Beautiful old hotel right in the middle of Rothenburg. If you want to envelop yourself in the culture and not stay at a 'Holiday Inn', this is the experience you want. Cozy little restaurant on site, with parking a few blocks away in a locked garage. Beautiful interior and exterior, comfortable rooms and beds. Walk anywhere you want to in town.

Even on an extremely busy night during Christmas Market season, the staff gave us wonderful attention. We were completely pleased, and would stay here again. It's also nice having an attached restaurant - very handy!

The breakfast is very rich. In addition to the various foods on the table, you can also ask the waiter for freshly brewed coffee and fried eggs. The restaurant's open kitchen is clearly visible. The hotel is in a good location at the entrance of the old town.

after staying at other places in town, this has to be the best choice! the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. I can't leave a review without mentioning the wonderful food!!

We try to visit every couple of months to enjoy a long weekend. The hotel is beautiful, handled with love, and the owner makes sure your special. The entrance to the Therme is very convenient and we just adore spending time there.
