Absolutely the best choice to stay in Rothenberg. Top notch service, very attentive. Room is spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. Valet parking for a reasonable fee. Definitely will return.

We went to this hotel for dinner without reservation late in the evening. The owner of the restaurant welcomed us and requested to wait for a short time. The serving staff here is really friendly and respectful

They could speak fluently in English as well. The food was really delicious and quantity was also more than sufficient for a price. We ordered Red wine from this region and vegetarian dish

Two hundred year old bed was beyond comfortable. Rooms can get a little warm as there is no AC in this historic building but opening the windows was not a problem

Friendly staff and great breakfast! Must visit the sausage shop Erich Trumpp for excellent sausages to pair with some wine in your room! And do the night watchmans walk for a good laugh and a little history

They had a bottle of sparkling water and two glasses waiting for us and I had the best breakfast than anywhere we had been. The scrambled eggs were fantastic and nothing like in the states

My room was quite big and clean. It isn't the best hotel in Rothenburg but is very near to the industrial area and i went go work on foot. Good breakfast and reception.

We weren't too sure about the place when we pulled up and saw it was above a pet store but we were pleasantly surprised. Clean and the two ladies that worked second shift and morning shift were great

Location is excellent right in the centre of the ancient town of Rothenburg. Parking is available which is a nice surprise

Situated in the walled town of Rothenburg. ! All tourist spots are within walking distance. The hotel offers a very good spread of buffet breakfast. Must stay if you are in Rothenburg

The only one concern I have is regards the view from the windows. Our room is facing the wall of the neighboring building and there is not much to see. The peak is that there is zero-to-non noise though

Me and friend stay here for one night, and we are very satisfied! Very central location, only one minute to the central square. The room is big and comfy and the bathroom is spacious and well decorated

We have stayed at Hotel Eisenhut before, and we always come back. Great Hotel, great service, and very friendly. Beautifully appointed, spacious rooms, very comfortable beds. Breakfast was amazing.

The food and wine was acceptable but for 140 euros the three of us left feeling like our money could have been put to better use. Not a terrible experience but we regretted the decision to eat there

The only thing is no rooms in village have air conditioning, so you have to have your windows open during warm summer days. The breakfast was wonderful, many varieties and all very fresh

It was good stay, the rooms were lovely and styled with classic furniture. It was very clean and there was a good view from our window (the town has a beautiful view around every nook and corner)

We had a beautiful room with a great view. The room was spacious, the staff was wonderful. We had a good breakfast each morning and we ate dinner and had drinks at the hotel one night while we were there

The bed was comfortable, the shower was modern and had good water pressure. The spa was beautiful and relaxing. The staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout

I can't say enough good things about it. The hotel is right in the middle of the old town, close to everything. Its absolutely charming and spotlessly clean

Warning to those not comfortable driving down very narrow roads with limited space, park your car outside the walls, and walk in. I recommend staying here whether for 1 or multiple nights

The garage attendant assisted in the tight parking, the front desk assisted with every hotel amenity, and the service staff was gracious at meal time

The breakfast was very very good. Right outside the hotel is the old city wall and you can claim the stairs and walk the wall on the way to the market square. It was really nice here and we will gladly stay again

The hotel is located near downtown. The receptionist are kind, and the food is good, though there isn't much variety. The rooms are outdated; my room didn't have A/C , making it awful in the summer because it was too hot

Stayed a night on the way back from Italy to Berlin. As we arrived we were asked if we have a car and were directed to the large hotel parking (free of charge). It's a great service of the hotel

Breakfast was included, and it was very good -- tons of options from sliced meats, cheeses, several types of bread, fruit, eggs, cereal, and other stuff I can't remember. What really stood out though was the staff

Such an amazing place. The architecture is brilliant, the breakfast really good, our room was nice and large with plenty of space. Safe in the room as well. Definitely recommend!

Breakfast was excellent too with a lovely selection of produce. Parking was on the street but easy and the location is right in the centre of the beautiful old town

We messed up our plans and didn't book enough nights, and they were able to accommodate us in a different room for our last night (which was the Romantic Room I believe, and had a balcony with a great view)

I was freezing during the night. As most off German hotels, the blankets are very small. Maybe it's a good idea to ask for an extra one. The bathroom is very spacious

Having found this town totally by accident by turning off the Autobahn; this hotel became the second great happy accident! What a great place to stay. They have parking right inside the walled city for guests

Great location, right outside Galgentor gate. And just past the P4 parking is a spielplatz for the kids. Few good restaurants nearby as well. We had a mixup with the rooms in the beginning but then it was sorted

The facilities are good, rooms are well appointed. Of course being a small hotel in Germany there is no AC, so keep that in mind. On site restaurant was closed for vacation in August!

The room is good but not really practice. You can hear the toilet from the rooms above you. You cannot watch TV from your bed. We considered that 500€++ for 2 nights was not worth

I was looking for a non typical Bavarian place in Rothenberg and found the correct place. Staff is friendly and helpful. The common kitchen in the entrance is a real treat

Comfortable, close to the walls, to the big parking area, nice walk to reach the center. Good breakfast, open max till 10 pm but if you have the key there is a second entrance for nights

The hotel is located a two minute walk from one of the most photographed clock tower in Germany! We were able to park right outside the hotel for free at night. The breakfast was very good and tasty each morning

We enjoyed the coffee in the morning and drinks in the courtyard in the evenings. Our only regret was we wished we should of booked more than two nights at this outstanding hotel!

It is very close to the heart of Rothenburg, but is also quiet and secluded at night. It was easily accessed from the P1 parking lot just outside the wall

On the first view the room looked quite old especially the bathroom is small and not comfortable (but very clean). But the view (valley direction) is really great and the bed is really good

the breakfast is also very good (the breakfast room has a phantastic view as well)

On second floor is pleasant and huge hall with ancient tapestries and furnishings. Hot breakfast buffet is great. On the downside, hotel may turn off the power during the daytime

We had Room #12 on the second floor of the guest house. It was spacious and recently renovated. We had a quiet and comfortable nights sleep

Outside of city wall down by grazing fields but walkable into old town up a steep hill. You will get your exercise in. Rooms extremely spacious and clean. Perfect as a last minute reservation

Amazing wifi, amazing staff, very big and clean room. The hotel was about a 15 min walk to the heart of rothensburg and made traveling without a car very easy.
