The hotel is very conveniently located just outside the city centre area. Easy walk for 10 minutes to Market Plaza and city centre area. The room size is good for a couple. Has Aircon which is not common in Germany

It was a blessing in the summer of June where temperatures are closer to 25 to 30 C. Breakfast has good spread of breads and cold cuts. The restaurant is spacious and service was good

Excellent location with great access to the old town. Clean rooms with impeccable service. The breakfast buffet has a great selection and is capable of servicing anyone. I highly recommend.

Situated in the walled town of Rothenburg. ! All tourist spots are within walking distance. The hotel offers a very good spread of buffet breakfast. Must stay if you are in Rothenburg

The only one concern I have is regards the view from the windows. Our room is facing the wall of the neighboring building and there is not much to see. The peak is that there is zero-to-non noise though

Me and friend stay here for one night, and we are very satisfied! Very central location, only one minute to the central square. The room is big and comfy and the bathroom is spacious and well decorated

We have stayed at Hotel Eisenhut before, and we always come back. Great Hotel, great service, and very friendly. Beautifully appointed, spacious rooms, very comfortable beds. Breakfast was amazing.

The food and wine was acceptable but for 140 euros the three of us left feeling like our money could have been put to better use. Not a terrible experience but we regretted the decision to eat there

Very romantic and old city, if I had the chance I would stay for another 3-4 days, one goes back in time. I would visit it during Christmas, I guess it would be magnificent. so many beautiful houses, shops and kind people

It may not however, suit travellers who want modern in the room facilities like top notch coffee machines. The location is great, just a stone throw from the busy part of the town and Christmas market

We booked the family room and it was large and comfortable. We quite like the rustic look of the room, which suited the overall ambience of the hotel and town

It was good stay, the rooms were lovely and styled with classic furniture. It was very clean and there was a good view from our window (the town has a beautiful view around every nook and corner)

We had dinner here last night, it was a welcoming and warm experience. Today we happened to pass by and I was urgent. The staff didn’t hesitate to allow me to use the bathroom even though I didn’t eat breakfast here

Great survive the staff held on to our bags while we parked our car and explored. Rooms are clean but simple. Location is awesome and breakfast is fantastic.

Our rooms were in their other building which was more modern about 50 ft nearby. Communication with hotel was excellent

All liked it! The atmosphere of an old German restaurant, the service - they immediately found us a free table, the waiter was always nearby, giving the necessary advice, the speed of preparing and taking out dishes when the restaurant was fully loaded was simply impressive

Even on an extremely busy night during Christmas Market season, the staff gave us wonderful attention. We were completely pleased, and would stay here again. It's also nice having an attached restaurant - very handy!

Just off town square, next to the town wall- that you can climb and walk the length of. Large beds- not 2 pushed together, good water pressure and plenty of hot water

A 10 minute walk to the train station hauling luggage and 5 minutes to Christmas markets, this location is perfect. I could not recommend this hotel more. I look forward to future stays here

Perfect location right outside the old city wall. The room was clean and modern but maybe a bit small. Our room came with a very small balcony that we enjoyed during our stay

Our room was so large it felt like a palace, and the location was perfect; the city walls were right within view from the hotel

On the first view the room looked quite old especially the bathroom is small and not comfortable (but very clean). But the view (valley direction) is really great and the bed is really good

We stay for 2 nights and I can say this was very nice stay. We had a room with view over the river Tauber. The breakfast was great and tasty. One word a great hotel with very helpful personal

On second floor is pleasant and huge hall with ancient tapestries and furnishings. Hot breakfast buffet is great. On the downside, hotel may turn off the power during the daytime

  The Wi-Fi was only so-so in the rooms, but was good down in the lobby.   Breakfast was our only disappointment.    Having been used to a buffet where you can choose what you want,  they were set up a bit differently

   We didn't want to make a fuss so thank goodness for the peanut butter that we never leave home without.   It was very good on one of their rolls.   They do have a restaurant for dinner but we did not eat there

  The staff were exceptionally nice and friendly.   It's in a great location to walk to everything in old Town.   Our room was great, large, good size bathroom

  They brought out a tray with salami, Parma ham, 1 slice boiled ham, 1 slice of cheese, packaged cheeses, 1 mandarin orange and some grapes and a plate of smoked salmon

  As we have experienced several times on this trip,  there is NO elevator.    We were lucky the hotel had a colleague who took our bags up and back down for us

  We were free to pick up yogurt with a little granola/ fruit on top.   We don't eat much of what they brought out, and we hate wasting the food

after staying at other places in town, this has to be the best choice! the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. I can't leave a review without mentioning the wonderful food!!

Only stayed one night. The room was spacious and comfortable and clean. Drinks and snacks available in the room. Good sized, well equipped bathroom. Lovely common dining area. Friendly staff.

I stayed there for two months for work and they treated me so well. The rooms are nice and the restaraunt has very good food and great service! I would definitly recommend staying there!

We came here for dinner. Food was very good. Staff was friendly and you can sit outside. If you have extra wishes, they take care of them.

The view of the Garden was quite nice especially because there is almost no traffic in the area it is incredibly quiet. any ways the rooms are very big and stay warm all night

Ok location close to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Rooms were clean and large but no aircon on a hot summer day. Good breakfast. Some staff only talked german. Didn't use the spa witch is the big thing there.

Every guest is special! The breakfast is amazing and delicious. They have something for everyone. You can order an omelette or eggs over easy. They want you to be happy and enjoy the breakfast and the accommodations

This hotel is also connected to the Franken Therme so it was already going to be great! The rooms were nice, and had plenty of space for storage; nice, big bathrooms with a bathtub for 2 people

You can go straight to the spa area from the hotel with the robe and towels you get at the hotel reception. The owners are friendly and make every effort to make sure your stay is exceptional

The Family and staff treated us like good friends recomending places to see and take our two young sons taking time teaching my wife to count and pleasantries in deutsch and our whole family local customs and pleasantries, how not to embarass ourselves and patiently helped me with my broken formal German

It seems to be an historic hotel, but very well renewed as the rooms are very nice and clean. The inside restaurant is also good, typical and genuine, worth to visit even if not staying in the hotel.

Just what you need to sleep a night during a journey. Good beds, confortable room, clean bathroom, equipped, wifi etc. Breakfest could be better, frankly. But if I need to sleep a night in Ansbach, I'd go there again

The staff was friendly (speaking/knowing some German helps), the rooms well kept, and the breakfast buffet had an assortment of options that you would expect from a typical German style breakfast

Parking space for the car was safe. The Oldtown was reachable within two minutes on feet. Many places to eat around. Room was clean and warm. The coffe was good. All in the place is great.

Besides this, other things were good, or at least all right: the rest of the staff is very nice and friendly, the service level is good, the buffet breakfast is far above average. The rooms are small, but clean

We pointed to the hotel parking place for guests. Her "nice" answer was, "move you car away from the first parking spot!" - actually, we parked on the second one. It wasn't a good introduction by the hotel

And anyway, you visit a city like Bad Mergentheim for hiking, relaxing, wine-tasting, etc. This hotel is a good place to stay

The room is spacious with plenty of space around, there is a good place to sleep on a double bed and there are 2 extra single beds that you can easily unlock by the staff if you have kids ;) The food is good

The wifi wasn't strangely the best in the breakfast lounge and customers had to pay a lot for the parking garage. It's good that it's a parking garage was but 8€ for a overnight stay is a lot

I fell for glasses that were not even in their assortment in the house/nothing store (in the hotel), so the sweetest waiter found 6 glasses for me that I was allowed to buy for a really good price

Great old fashioned rooms and in our double room a Jacuzzi in the bathroom. The floors are slant and this ancient hotel has had royal guests such as Gustav 2 Adolf of Sweden

A lovely cosy hotel that is not far from the town centre. Room cost is not expensive, the room I had was very much old world charm with exposed beams and smaller windows but with a modern bathroom

The attic loft was tastefully renovated and decorated - modern yet fit in with the historic building. Exterior soundproofing was excellent but we could hear the couple chatting in the room next door
