The location is very convenient, only a five-minute walk from the entrance to the old city. The hotel is clean, the room is decent, stayed for one night, and was generally satisfied. The breakfast is pretty good in Germany.

Location of the hotel is good and is very convenient. I choose this hotel is because of the Sauna facility. Just knew that Sauna is not free of charge, quite disappointed.

I had such a great experience here! The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathrooms are huge and modern. The food is also pretty good. The best part about this hotel is that the location is amazing. The town is so cute and there are so many shops you can stop by. There's also a night watchman tour that explains the history of the town. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here!

Very friendly staff who is eager to help and explain the history of the hotel. It is a historical building so do not expect a lot. The beddings can be a bit more comfortable though. No aircon but it is indicated. Location is excellent right in the centre of the ancient town of Rothenburg. Parking is available which is a nice surprise.

What a beautiful town this hotel is in, very old and exquisite, our experience at the hotel was let down by the bathroom ( in our room anyway). I challenge anyone other than a 6 year old child to be able to comfortably use the toilet , it is jammed between the bath tub and the wall ,if it weren't so impossible to use to would have been hilarious

Me and friend stay here for one night, and we are very satisfied! Very central location, only one minute to the central square. The room is big and comfy and the bathroom is spacious and well decorated. The only one concern I have is regards the view from the windows. Our room is facing the wall of the neighboring building and there is not much to see. The peak is that there is zero-to-non noise though

I stayed only one night in room 7. The wifi was very slow. The room has a climatization problem. Even with all the heaters turned off, the room was very warm. I turned on the air conditioner and it was not answering the commands. I was freezing during the night. As most off German hotels, the blankets are very small. Maybe it's a good idea to ask for an extra one. The bathroom is very spacious

Beautiful old hotel right in the middle of Rothenburg. If you want to envelop yourself in the culture and not stay at a 'Holiday Inn', this is the experience you want. Quaint, centrally located, little hotel about 50 metres from the main square in Rothenburg. The rooms are older, but very nice. The bathrooms are also quite nice. The breakfast is substantial. The owners were a little less than friendly, but they were accommodating. There is an on-site restaurant, but we didn't ever see anyone eat there. This would be a nice stay if in Rothenburg.

The location is great, but the room and toilet were dated. The carpet was dirty in the room and the toilet was very old. The room key was also the key to the outside door. Somehow my room key didn't work when I was trying to get in at 10.30pm at night. Nobody was inside to open it. Thankfully another guest had keys that could open the outside door and I was able to get in along with them.

the hotel was rather old. the common areas were in need of renovation. the bathroom was recently renovated .... unfortunately the reception was not very warm, we were an hour early and we were told this immediately ... the message ... go into town and find a restaurant for tonight. this while there was a bar and it might be smarter to let people relax and refer them to your own bar.

The room was more suitable, and the front desk was friendly. I arrived early to store my luggage. The included breakfast was very good, and the variety was basically complete. The waiter remembered that I wanted to drink milk the next day (at my own expense the first day), and it was hot.

The hotel is a ten-minute walk from the core of Rothenburg. It has free parking spaces, the service staff is very friendly, the facilities are average, and the price-performance ratio is the main focus. But it happened to be the off-season, so there were not many tourists. There were only a few tourists in all the hotels, and the prices were not cheap.

Outside of city wall down by grazing fields but walkable into old town up a steep hill. You will get your exercise in. Rooms extremely spacious and clean. Perfect as a last minute reservation. Free parking right across from hotel entramce. Highly recommend.

This is a cosy old style hotel with fantastic location. We came in last in the afternoon and still had plenty of time to stroll the coble stone streets.

Got one of the familly rooms with a gorgeous view on the courtyard / tower. Friendly staff and great breakfast! Must visit the sausage shop Erich Trumpp for excellent sausages to pair with some wine in your room! And do the night watchmans walk for a good laugh and a little history. Take a stroll through the Christmas shop. Loved this town and this hotel!

This was in a good location, easy to find by car. I had booked and paid for a triple room as I wanted two totally separate beds because I was travelling with a family member, not a partner. We were allocated a double room and there were no separate beds. An approach to the staff for reallocation toa room with separate beds was unsuccessful.
