I had such a great experience here! The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathrooms are huge and modern. The food is also pretty good. The best part about this hotel is that the location is amazing. The town is so cute and there are so many shops you can stop by. There's also a night watchman tour that explains the history of the town. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here!

Nice hotel in a historic remodeled building, with very friendly staff at the reception. Super clean, comfortable beds and small but functional and cozy bathroom. The location is unbeatable near the gates of the old city. Breakfast is wonderful with lot of options and everything yummy. A great weekend getaway!

The best part of this hotel is its location. However, it does not meet the standards of a four-star establishment. The room is more suited for a three-star rating, and the bathroom is small and lacks a bathtub. On the positive side, the breakfast is quite good.

The hotel is located near downtown. The receptionist are kind, and the food is good, though there isn't much variety. The rooms are outdated; my room didn't have A/C , making it awful in the summer because it was too hot. Additionally, the room smelled of humidity and was not very clean, I found spiderwebs 🕸 in more than one place. In general, it think it is important for the hotel to have an update...

Very friendly staff who is eager to help and explain the history of the hotel. It is a historical building so do not expect a lot. The beddings can be a bit more comfortable though. No aircon but it is indicated. Location is excellent right in the centre of the ancient town of Rothenburg. Parking is available which is a nice surprise.

What a beautiful town this hotel is in, very old and exquisite, our experience at the hotel was let down by the bathroom ( in our room anyway). I challenge anyone other than a 6 year old child to be able to comfortably use the toilet , it is jammed between the bath tub and the wall ,if it weren't so impossible to use to would have been hilarious

Me and friend stay here for one night, and we are very satisfied! Very central location, only one minute to the central square. The room is big and comfy and the bathroom is spacious and well decorated. The only one concern I have is regards the view from the windows. Our room is facing the wall of the neighboring building and there is not much to see. The peak is that there is zero-to-non noise though

Beautiful old hotel right in the middle of Rothenburg. If you want to envelop yourself in the culture and not stay at a 'Holiday Inn', this is the experience you want. Cozy little restaurant on site, with parking a few blocks away in a locked garage. Beautiful interior and exterior, comfortable rooms and beds. Walk anywhere you want to in town.

We had dinner here last night, it was a welcoming and warm experience. Loved it. Today we happened to pass by and I was urgent. The staff didn’t hesitate to allow me to use the bathroom even though I didn’t eat breakfast here. 😃

The room was very clean and quite large. I missed a mini-fridge and air conditioning ( which I was aware of when booking), but I realized the loss of comfort without those two amenities. The Service was very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent.

Great location in the heart of Rothenburg. Highly recommend purchasing the parking pass for their garage. Service was helpful and welcoming. Restaurant breakfasts and dinners were fabulous with friendly waitstaff. Loved the decor. Our rooms were in their other building which was more modern about 50 ft nearby. Great location for Christmas markets! We stayed in December 2024 and we drove into the hotel road according to the hotels directions. We do not recommend driving to this hotel, they charge for parking (which makes sense because it’s challenging and limited) and it’s too difficult to navigate. I stayed only one night in room 7. The wifi was very slow. The room has a climatization problem. Even with all the heaters turned off, the room was very warm. I turned on the air conditioner and it was not answering the commands. I was freezing during the night. As most off German hotels, the blankets are very small. Maybe it's a good idea to ask for an extra one. The bathroom is very spacious

Location is perfect! Room had a fan and mini fridge, and our view was of the garden. There is a small indoor play space and a lounge with a beer vending machine. The restaurant is beautiful but our booth had spider webs, dust, and a dead spider on it. The room itself for dinner is gorgeous. I feel we paid about €50 too much, but the location is prime.

Talk about being whisked into the past! Your behind the castle walls. Cute little city. I recommend getting there at night and walking around before the tour buses in the morning. It’s quiet and no cars. Bars all close early but you can get pictures with no one around.

Good location. The room is good but not really practice. You can hear the toilet from the rooms above you. You cannot watch TV from your bed. There is no safety box. We considered that 500€++ for 2 nights was not worth. Breakfast was wonderful. The ladies at the breakfast were very friendly. Upon departure, no asking feedback from us even no "Thank you" was said from the lady at the front desk.

Great location, right outside Galgentor gate. And just past the P4 parking is a spielplatz for the kids. Few good restaurants nearby as well. We had a mixup with the rooms in the beginning but then it was sorted. The facilities are good, rooms are well appointed. On the first view the room looked quite old especially the bathroom is small and not comfortable (but very clean). the hotel was rather old. the common areas were in need of renovation. the bathroom was recently renovated .... unfortunately the reception was not very warm, we were an hour early and we were told this immediately ... the message ... go into town and find a restaurant for tonight. this while there was a bar and it might be smarter to let people relax and refer them to your own bar.

I recommend this hotel to stay if you visit Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It is right on the spot in the historical area with parking lot nearby. On second floor is pleasant and huge hall with ancient tapestries and furnishings. Hot breakfast buffet is great. On the downside, hotel may turn off the power during the daytime. You cannot beat the location or the views from the dining room. There is no ac in the rooms but this is the case for most hotels in the area. Very friendly and helpful staff. All around one of the best places to stay in the city.

Got one of the familly rooms with a gorgeous view on the courtyard / tower. Friendly staff and great breakfast! The interiour was well chosen. We went there to get something to eat but they already had closed the kitchen due to having afternoon break (2pm german time). The waitress was very welcoming and friendly in telling us, that the kitchen already had closed.

Great location. Tidy room with a spacious bathroom. Good breakfast buffet in the morning. Nice enclosed garden area for having tea or cocktails. On a main street, but not in the busiest area so it is quiet. Easy walk to everywhere. Only negative was that there was a 1" step up from the bathroom to the bedroom with a somewhat sharp edge. It was a toe killer.

Great value! Staff was so friendly and helpful. I stayed as a solo traveler in a single room and it was super clean and new. I wish the bathroom area was a little bit wider but I understand it is a space saving room. The hotel is so quiet at night with no noise disturbing my sleep. The room was quite spacious, and the parking was free also. The wifi was a little spotty at times. The buffet breakfast was a separate charge, and it was good. The location is very convenient to walking into town, 5 minutes. I would recommend this location.
