Location is great, clean, comfortable rooms and beds. Nice size bathroom and shower. Room finish and details were excellent. The breakfast was great. The food in the restaurant can be very good
The hotel / restaurant / beer garden etc..are very focused on turning tables to the detriment of guests hoping to enjoy a meal at a relaxing pace without staff hovering 5 feet away watching you eat and constantly attempting to clear the table or asking what else you need.

Hotel guests are 100% not welcome (confirmed twice by management on 2 separate days) to enjoy the beer garden unless you are eating a meal. You cannot have a beer or wine in the beer garden between the hours of 12-2pm or 6-9pm unless you are also eating a meal.

The above should be posted prominently on your hotel policy page so guests understand the limitations of their stay!!

The hotel/restaurant beer garden is the only location in Rothenburg I found during our 3.5 day stay where myself and other hotel guests were not welcome to simply enjoy a local beer or wine in the beer garden.... Myself and other hotel guests had no problems at any other hotel / restaurant / beer garden. We were warmly welcomed...just not at the hotel we were guests at.

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Reichsküchenmeister, paid for enclosed parking and ate dinner at the hotel one night. Excellent location in the heart of the old town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Check in was streamlined by advance on line check in. Room was clean and nicely appointed. Two bottles of water provided in the room, but for a small fee. Restaurant was very good, but we were a bit rushed so that our table could be available for the next reservation. Breakfast was excellent. Indoor parking, while cramped, was very close by and the enthusiastic parking attendants were very helpful and immediately available. A good value for the location and overall quality of the hotel.

We had a lovely stay. Hotel was an easy 15 min walk from the train station and very centrally located in the heart of Rothenburg. The people at the hotel were lovely the breakfast was good the restaurant was fabulous and the room spectacular and that tub wow. Definitely would stay here again.

We loved staying here while we were in Rothenburg. We didn't get our car out of the lot even once because everything is so convenient. The beds were comfy, the hotel very quiet at night, and everyone was so nice! I also loved going out to the biergarten in the afternoon to enjoy a lovely pint or two and recoup from all the cobblestone walking from the day!

Great location in the heart of the town. Checking service was fast and if you fill out their registration prior to arrival at the hotel, you can be assured a faster service. Not very friendly service but it will be faster.

Restaurant food is really good both for Breakfast and Dinner.

Rooms are very clean - I was in a separate building in July and it is warm and with windows open you hear everything outside and get the cigarro smoke from passers by. Bring ear plugs and if in the summer, be ready for a warm room.

We paid for their parking and it is a bit of a walk from the hotel. The next day they had golf cart taking the customers to and from the parking lot.

Next time I will stay in a hotel right by the entrance of the town and if they have A/C, much the better.

However, for convenience and being in the heart of the town, this is a good hotel to stay.

Wonderful kitchen. Polite staff. There is an excellent exhibition of miniatures made of tin soldiers.

We LOVED this hotel. We had a beautiful room with a great view. The room was spacious, the staff was wonderful. We had a good breakfast each morning and we ate dinner and had drinks at the hotel one night while we were there. I loved the charm of this hotel and of our 2 week stay in southern Germany, it was actually one of my favorites. Highly recommend.

Right off the mainplatz of Rothenburg ob Der Tauber. This places visitors near all activities and historical sites.
Rooms were quaint but efficient with upgrades to current times. The hotel is divided into two buildings within 100 feet of each other. They offer limited on-site parking for a small fee.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The garage attendant assisted in the tight parking, the front desk assisted with every hotel amenity, and the service staff was gracious at meal time.
Warning to those not comfortable driving down very narrow roads with limited space, park your car outside the walls, and walk in.
I recommend staying here whether for 1 or multiple nights.
