Visited Europa-Park resort for four days where we stayed in Hotel El Colloseo. Spend the first day at waterpark Rulantica followed by 3 days at the theme park. The hotel biggest selling point was obviously its proximity to the park and there was some charm in its decor and design But, and it's a pretty big but, our room as are most had a window overlooking the piazza and it's soooo laud especially at night, it's absolutely impossible to keep the window open to sleep, and even with the window closed and with earplugs I had real problems falling asleep. Great hotel, especially for the children (water jets in the court, pool for kids and play area). Need to book the restaurant really in advance if you want to eat there.

No coffee or tea in the rooms (I didn’t even know it was possible to have a four stars rating without that). You can ask for a kettle but there won’t be any complimentary coffee / tea with it. You’re expected to buy that at their bar downstairs. At breakfast and for the dining buffet, you’re placed seemingly at random, there is no possibility to choose your table, even in advance on the website there...

Great hotel for a wonderful getaway with my wife for our 25th anniversary. The George Washington tower suite in the lighthouse was amazing, the regular rooms are still good but can’t really compete. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our highlight was the visit at ammolite, the 2-star restaurant in the lighthouse, where we could also have breakfast in the mornings. I look forward to three days at bellrock every year. Very good food, relaxing and of course lots of fun in the park. The gym is also great.

Pro: friendly staff, nice atmosphere, clean room, relaxing pool and sauna (18 years+, access to sauna in the side building through first upper floor). The buffet was tasty. Con: encouraging background music in all public areas. 10 minutes walk to the park, so start early, when you want to enjoy early access.

Travelled here with family in September 2023. This hotel is absolutely fabulous. It is walking distance from Europa Park. There is a free shuttle to Rulantica. Stayed in the Africa Suite and it was very nicely themed. Had two bedrooms; one with bunk beds for the kids. Lots of small touches like small packets of candy being left for the kids by the housekeepers. The rooms are really nicely furnished...

Nice hotel, clean and very close to the park. Room is basic no iron nor ironing table instead you have to drop your clothes by yourself qat the reception. The shop in the lobby is limited.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. The room and bed are large. The hotel is quiet. Breakfast is plentiful and pleasantly quiet. It is a 15 minute walk from the park entrance and only 5 minutes from the exit.

A very nice and clean hotel. It has large double bed rooms with a beautiful interior design, fancy TV and trendy light installation. The hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool with a garden, a business corner with a computer terminal, an inhouse restaurant-bar and a couple of parking spaces. Complmentary mini-bar and wifi belongs to its standards. Staff was very friendly during our stay.

Fair size family suite in fair price. Restaurants are expensive and not as you expect them to be. Service is excellent, room is clean and cozy.

Recommend. A bit unusual having to call if arrival is after 6pm, but smooth check in overall. Disappointed with the lack of a fridge behind the fridge door in the room, quite obviously to drive sales for overpriced drinks (...3 EUR for a water, even more for a soft drink). Room design really neat and special. GREAT breakfast. Easy and early park acess.

Location, top. Just next to the main entrance. Easy to reach, free parking in the rear. Check in was friendly and welcoming. The rooms got what you need but nothing extra. The rooms are basic and could be a bit cleaner. Breakfast is a hectic affair the moment since you have bread and everything already cramped on the table and the staff runs around to get you everything else. It got a factory feel...

So, this place is a bit pricey but, it's worth it! This hotel looks nice, is right across the street from a Europa park entrance, the rooms are clean, there is a little convenience store downstairs, and the service from reception to restaurant is good! We will stay here again.

We were one day in December in the Europapark and stayed 1 night in the Pension Dolce Vita. We can only say, very, very nice hosts, rooms very nice and clean, breakfast was also served with love. We will definitely come back here on our next visit to the Europa Park.! ☺️☺️

The staff is very gentle and very helpful! The room is big and quiet. Very good location, 1km away from Europapark. Finally the breakfast is perfect! I recommend this one 200%!

Clean apartment. Soft beds. Great echo in the hallway to make scary voices to frighten the kids or just have a laugh in apartment 4. Air conditioning works wonderfully in All rooms and the reception is wonderful. Extremely close to the bus station for the Europa-Park bus.

The place is just few minutes walk away from europark. The staff was super nice and kind.

The rooms were simple but good, and the staff was very friendly. It is at walking distance from both Europa park and Rulantica, and their parking avoids paying for the theme park parkings. Breakfast was good, with the possibility to sign up for it the day before. Our only negative point is there was no AC present, and that the rooms were thus really hot during our stay.

Lovely hotel with a great bar and restaurant. Bar staff and management are great, really welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for our family. Special mention to Colin, he's such a fun barman who kept our glasses full all evening, and treated the kids like mini adults. We will definitely be back!

The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were also clean and comfortable, if a little small. The food was also very good; there wasn't a huge amount of choice, but it all tasted fantastic.

Very friendly, didn't spent much time there as it is 5 minutes away from Europa-Park. Also in a beautiful part of Rust with a lot of restaurants near. The rooms had everything we needed with 3 beds, clean sheets, towels, hand sanitizer, etc etc

Very old design. Some may like it more than others. Breakfast is alright, but the food in the evening is excellent. Good prices and very near to the park.

After reading the bad reviews I was actually really worried about staying here but it actually was nice. When we booked the hotel we wanted to make sure that we were very close to the park because we're going to be there for New Years Eve and didn't want a long walk back to our hotel. This place is a great location to the park and it's nice that they have breakfast in the morning. But whoever left...

Staff very friendly. Rooms are clean with A/C and room heater. Close to Europe park. There is parking lot. We used our car to go to the park. Breakfast is fine and plenty of dishes available.

This is a lovely hotel, close to europa park (they have shuttle or they give a free parking ticket), the staff was amazing, they were so nice and helpful. The breakfast was also very good. The rooms are just ok noting special, the bathroom needs an updated. But it has air-conditioning which is a big plus. If u plan to go to rust's parks you will spend most of your time there so this place is definitely...
