Where to stay in Rust

An extraordinary location, with very friendly staff, located 3-4 minutes walk from the access to Europa Park. Very clean room and bathroom, with everything you need, quiet, mini-fridge, safe, tv, air conditioning (when we arrived in the room in Europa Park we found the air conditioning turned on by the staff, which was wonderful). Self check-in and self check-out, which makes all the formalities enormously...

Booked this hotel through Booking.com. had a nice room, big enough for 2, with airco, nice bathroom. Perfect for when you're going to Europa-park. The good market next to it is also ideal after a long day. Stayed there 2 days but they didn't clean the room the 2nd night. So with the price, a little expensive.

However, limited breakfast choice - and this morning there was no fruit salad at all, also limited choice of bread - comparing to other morning (no darker bread). Great location if you are planning to go to Europa park. Very friendly staff and they allowed us to leave the car there while we were at the park. Bed and pillow not so comfy, but clean room and with nice balcony view.

The rooms were simple but good, and the staff was very friendly. It is at walking distance from both Europa park and Rulantica, and their parking avoids paying for the theme park parkings. Breakfast was good, with the possibility to sign up for it the day before. Our only negative point is there was no AC present, and that the rooms were thus really hot during our stay.

Lovely hotel with a great bar and restaurant. Bar staff and management are great, really welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for our family. Special mention to Colin, he's such a fun barman who kept our glasses full all evening, and treated the kids like mini adults. We will definitely be back!

The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were also clean and comfortable, if a little small. The food was also very good; there wasn't a huge amount of choice, but it all tasted fantastic.

Very friendly, didn't spent much time there as it is 5 minutes away from Europa-Park. Also in a beautiful part of Rust with a lot of restaurants near. The rooms had everything we needed with 3 beds, clean sheets, towels, hand sanitizer, etc etc

Very old design. Some may like it more than others. Breakfast is alright, but the food in the evening is excellent. Good prices and very near to the park.

Clean and nice room, with a very good shower. Only downside was the bed, which had a bit of a pit. It was uncomfortable to sleep on my stomach, as I normally do. Breakfast was good, with everything you need. Fresh bread was added regularly. Due to the wooden ceiling and upstairs seating, it can become quite noisy at breakfast.

A very nice and clean hotel. It has large double bed rooms with a beautiful interior design, fancy TV and trendy light installation. The hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool with a garden, a business corner with a computer terminal, an inhouse restaurant-bar and a couple of parking spaces. Complmentary mini-bar and wifi belongs to its standards. Staff was very friendly during our stay.

We arrived in Rust after a day of travelling from the U.K. and an early start. We got to Rust around 1830 and checked in as normal. They wanted all the details from my passport (more than normal) and other info however I was advised when I asked this would be destroyed in due course. I collected the key and we went to our room. The Europa Park is only a 15 minutes walk away. We took a breakfast option, which was totally okay for our needs, otherwise there is a Lidl closeby. The rooms were cozy, with every supplies you need. The light that turned on automatically under the bed when you walked by, made the night bathroom visits a bit less discreet, than expected. All in all, recommended.

This hotel is nicely located if you want to go to the Europa Park theme park. The rooms are spacious but when I booked the presidential suite I did expect to have more space than what we got. Great hotel for a wonderful getaway with my wife for our 25th anniversary. The George Washington tower suite in the lighthouse was amazing, the regular rooms are still good but can’t really compete. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our highlight was the visit at ammolite, the 2-star restaurant in the lighthouse, where we could also have breakfast in the mornings. I look forward to three days at bellrock every year. Very good food, relaxing and of course lots of fun in the park. The gym is also great.

Pro: friendly staff, nice atmosphere, clean room, relaxing pool and sauna (18 years+, access to sauna in the side building through first upper floor). The buffet was tasty. Con: encouraging background music in all public areas. 10 minutes walk to the park, so start early, when you want to enjoy early access.

Fair size family suite in fair price. Restaurants are expensive and not as you expect them to be. Service is excellent, room is clean and cozy.

Recommend. A bit unusual having to call if arrival is after 6pm, but smooth check in overall. Disappointed with the lack of a fridge behind the fridge door in the room, quite obviously to drive sales for overpriced drinks (...3 EUR for a water, even more for a soft drink). We have been to Rust several times, but for the second time in the Hauser guest house, it was definitely not the last time. We were one day in December in the Europapark and stayed 1 night in the Pension Dolce Vita. We can only say, very, very nice hosts, rooms very nice and clean, breakfast was also served with love. We will definitely come back here on our next visit to the Europa Park.! ☺️☺️

Fabulous hotel! Great value for money and the location couldn't be better. Centrally located and a 2 minute walk to Europapark. Rooms are clean and large enough to comfortably accommodate a large family or group. On site Pizzeria is highly recommended. Staff are friendly and go over and beyond to make your stay a pleasant experience.
