What felt like a hidden gem We had a fantastic week here with our extended family, facilities and service was superb from concierge to dining. Would highly recommend and definitely go back.

We have stayed in the Vier Jahreszeiten in Schluchsee for probably the last seven or eight years. It’s only about a 90-minute drive from our home in Switzerland and it feels like a home away from home in many ways. Years ago on the dinner menu they had an amazing dessert. It was a warm chocolate cake with ice cream. I loved it. Over the years I’ve always hoped they would have it on the menu again...

Good, but uneven experience for one week here. Rooms had great view. Food, given the cost, was quite good, but no variety at breakfast. The service was at times very good and at times poor. (Eg, asking for a postcard being asked one euro after paying thousands for the stay)

Everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We asked for harder pillows and soon after we found them already in our room. They provided a rich breakfast buffet. The food was excellent and as a vegetarian I always had options. The location is very quiet and near to many hiking paths. We had a great time!

A wonderful hotel. And such a great service! Nice and clean rooms, with a little balcony and great overview on the beautiful hills. Food is excellent, breakfast really nice. Everything in this hotel is just done with a little bit extra love. Wanna go to this area? We really recommend. They also have rooms for 1 person and than you also pay just 54 euro. Very nice service for people who travel alone

Idilic place to stay for the Christmas season. We arrived by train so had no transport of our own but this was not a problem, we enjoyed walking around the area. Very peaceful and isolated, perfect for us. We would like to return during the spring or summer to see the area in a different way.

The location is great! You are isolated from the rest of our busy world. Exactly what we were looking for: a small village with just four streets, no shops, no nothing, just nature (and a lot of trees). Bigger villages (shops, restaurants, sightseeing) are not too far away. During summertime there is not even a bus, so you definitely need a car! We enjoyed a very good lunch here. The steak, stroganoff, and goulash were wonderful. Always a challenge to order off a German menu with limited (or no German) speakers in our group, but staff was kind and helpful to us.

Pleasant stay. Very basic room might be what over priced. Place was very clean but beds too short (1.90m). Good food in the evening as well as in the morning.

We stayed here with our dog for 1 night. everything went well for us. Room was affordable compared to other hotels. Unfortunately we could not test the wellness area in the short time. Location at the park perfect for dog owners. however, there are cats in the house. good, that there was an elevator, and we always drove directly to the room with the dog :-). we'd love to come back.

Unfortunately I was only in the hotel for a short time, but what I saw is very nice. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast is rich. The service is very nice and familiar. You feel right at home there. I would go there again.

We had a dinner and it was ok, I think they forgot my dessert and after I mentioned to the Petar within 10 minutes dessert was served. Petar is very friendly and funny I think he keeps the customers to come again. He’s a entertainer

Only tried the restaurant. Pretty much everything was great: the food was delicious, and the service was good. The only thing that influenced our experience was that we were asked to sit on the same side of the table to keep distance from the neighboring table, but the neighboring table was empty for the whole time - I think this could have been managed a bit better.

A perfect family hotel to stay in the black forest. We stayed in an apartment for four persons for a week. The apartment was well equipment and was cleaned perfectly every day. The owner was there every day and gave us the best recommendations and guidance for activities and interesting points in the black forest. Absolutely adorable.

The views from our beautifully furnished, spacious room were lovely, especially with fall foliage. At the owner's suggestion, we walked into town through the woods and back along the lake. We relaxed in the spotless spa facilities and ate delicious meals in the restaurant. (Another bonus of fall was venison season.) What a truly relaxing and memorable experience.

We stayed at the Seehotel Hubertus for 3 nights in the suite. The room was extremely spacious with an addition floor above for a third person. The view from the room over looked the lake however there was no balcony for our room. The hotel is on the banks of the large Schluchsee lake and view is stunning. Spend the holidays here with my family and it was absolutely amazing. The rooms are very big, the breakfast delicious and the hosts are quite incredible. Excellent location on the lake with free parking and spacious rooms. The rooms were clean but quite dated. They also have a nice garden leading to the lake but this also was in need of work. The view makes up for it!
