What felt like a hidden gem We had a fantastic week here with our extended family, facilities and service was superb from concierge to dining. Would highly recommend and definitely go back.

We have stayed in the Vier Jahreszeiten in Schluchsee for probably the last seven or eight years. It’s only about a 90-minute drive from our home in Switzerland and it feels like a home away from home in many ways. Years ago on the dinner menu they had an amazing dessert. It was a warm chocolate cake with ice cream. I loved it. Over the years I’ve always hoped they would have it on the menu again...

Good, but uneven experience for one week here. Rooms had great view. Food, given the cost, was quite good, but no variety at breakfast. The service was at times very good and at times poor. (Eg, asking for a postcard being asked one euro after paying thousands for the stay)

Idilic place to stay for the Christmas season. We arrived by train so had no transport of our own but this was not a problem, we enjoyed walking around the area. Very peaceful and isolated, perfect for us. We would like to return during the spring or summer to see the area in a different way.

We stayed here with our dog for 1 night. everything went well for us. Room was affordable compared to other hotels. Unfortunately we could not test the wellness area in the short time. Location at the park perfect for dog owners. however, there are cats in the house. good, that there was an elevator, and we always drove directly to the room with the dog :-). we'd love to come back.

Unfortunately I was only in the hotel for a short time, but what I saw is very nice. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast is rich. The service is very nice and familiar. You feel right at home there. I would go there again.

Only tried the restaurant. Pretty much everything was great: the food was delicious, and the service was good. The only thing that influenced our experience was that we were asked to sit on the same side of the table to keep distance from the neighboring table, but the neighboring table was empty for the whole time - I think this could have been managed a bit better.

The views from our beautifully furnished, spacious room were lovely, especially with fall foliage. At the owner's suggestion, we walked into town through the woods and back along the lake. Just reviewing the restaurant. This is my favourite restaurant to visit in the Black Forest and it is the service that really makes it for me. The waitstaff is professional and attentive and always have a fitting recommendation from the wine menu. The atmosphere is charming and cozy and the food is always very tasty.

We went for a lovely diner at Restaurant Peterle. They provided a menu that is translated to English which is very nice. They offer daily menus as well. The food is very delicious and they offer a lot of explanation with the dishes. We are coming again!

We picked this hotel and location for our first vacation with our puppy, and it was such a pleasant experience. The staff, location and offering of the hotel made it relaxing and fun for both us and the puppy. There are lots of things to do in the area and our highlight was the dog friendly lake a short distance away.

Hotel is located right on the road, therefore the rooms are extremely loud. Pool and sauna are lovely, but very small for the number of guests for the hotel of such size. Despite the cold winter weather, we really enjoyed our stay. The two children (11 and 13 years old) had fun in the large swimming pool, the bowling alley and the table football table. The sauna area was very nice and clean. The quiet location of the hotel ensured a good night's sleep. The service at breakfast and dinner was friendly and accommodating.

Requests were dealt with immediately, the dog was allowed, very nice view. I would put dog owners on the ground floor as the stairs are quite steep. I would put a blind in the bathroom, the curtain was impractical. The sauna area is very pleasant, we were alone there, the swimming area is huge and everything is absolutely clean!

The breakfast was outstanding (better than brunch!). The service helped quickly with every issue. The spa was nice but during the day crowded, however, at the evening completely empty making it our private spa! The walks up on that plateau are outstanding. When the weather is good, you see the alps to the South and a 1000m height, the "valley" of Zürich below is just an amazing sight.

This was our first time at a wellness hotel and we absolutely loved it! Though arriving almost at midnight, they had a great variety of bread, sausages and cheese prepared for us. The location of the hotel is superb with an amazing view of Titisee Lake. Room and breakfast is also very nice. However, room keeping service is not up to standard. We stayed for five nights and only requested for room keeping twice during the whole stay. Despite neatly placed pillows and blankets, the bedsheets are still wrinkled with hair on it, making me wonder whether they change the beddings at...

My teen daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were clean and nice. Plenty of room. The town is an easy walk and plenty to do/see in the area. Can’t beat the beautiful view and serene area.

Let’s start with the good: The apartment was exceptionally clean! Also breakfast was good! Where we found to be room for improvement was the basic kitchen amenities. First we had to get a box with kitchen supplies but the pans and pots were not clean. Also lots of things weren’t provided like a cutting board and proper knives. Everyone was super friendly and the Wellness area was great. The breakfast was good too but it was everyday the same. The bathroom in the neighbour house was also very little. All in all we were Happy though.
