What felt like a hidden gem We had a fantastic week here with our extended family, facilities and service was superb from concierge to dining. Would highly recommend and definitely go back.

We have stayed in the Vier Jahreszeiten in Schluchsee for probably the last seven or eight years. It’s only about a 90-minute drive from our home in Switzerland and it feels like a home away from home in many ways. Years ago on the dinner menu they had an amazing dessert. Good, but uneven experience for one week here. Rooms had great view. Food, given the cost, was quite good, but no variety at breakfast. The service was at times very good and at times poor. (Eg, asking for a postcard being asked one euro after paying thousands for the stay)

The views from our beautifully furnished, spacious room were lovely, especially with fall foliage. At the owner's suggestion, we walked into town through the woods and back along the lake. We relaxed in the spotless spa facilities and ate delicious meals in the restaurant. (Another bonus of fall was venison season.) What a truly relaxing and memorable experience.

We stayed at the Seehotel Hubertus for 3 nights in the suite. The room was extremely spacious with an addition floor above for a third person. Idilic place to stay for the Christmas season. We arrived by train so had no transport of our own but this was not a problem, we enjoyed walking around the area. Very peaceful and isolated, perfect for us. We would like to return during the spring or summer to see the area in a different way.

Exactly what we were looking for: a small village with just four streets, no shops, no nothing, just nature (and a lot of trees). The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, the lake Schlüchtsee is only a few Minutes walking distance, as is the Rothaus brewery, both places are definitely worth a visit. The hotel is spotless, the rooms/suites are very spacious and the breakfast is excellent. The staff are also exceptional and made sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel.

Just reviewing the restaurant. This is my favourite restaurant to visit in the Black Forest and it is the service that really makes it for me. The waitstaff is professional and attentive and always have a fitting recommendation from the wine menu. The atmosphere is charming and cozy and the food is always very tasty.

We went for a lovely diner at Restaurant Peterle. They provided a menu that is translated to English which is very nice. They offer daily menus as well. The food is very delicious and they offer a lot of explanation with the dishes. We are coming again!

The breakfast was outstanding (better than brunch!). The service helped quickly with every issue. The spa was nice but during the day crowded, however, at the evening completely empty making it our private spa! The walks up on that plateau are outstanding. When the weather is good, you see the alps to the South and a 1000m height, the "valley" of Zürich below is just an amazing sight.

The quality of the food at the restaurant is top! The mineral swimming pool is the highlight of the hotel. The staffs are friendly and helpful! The room is just average for my personal opinion, but it might be suitable for senior people.

Very nice wellness hotel with great food and great wellness center. The staff is very friendly and polite. The room (junior suite) is very nice and spacious, with "alpine view". Cleanliness is very important here. We will be happy to come back.

This was our first time at a wellness hotel and we absolutely loved it! Though arriving almost at midnight, they had a great variety of bread, sausages and cheese prepared for us. The room and the wellness area were incredible and the food absolutely delicious. Well definitely come back and recommend to anybody who considers spending some relaxing days here.

The location of the hotel is superb with an amazing view of Titisee Lake. Room and breakfast is also very nice. However, room keeping service is not up to standard. We stayed for five nights and only requested for room keeping twice during the whole stay. Despite neatly placed pillows and blankets, the bedsheets are still wrinkled with hair on it, making me wonder whether they change the beddings at...

Environment: The location is the best in Didi Lake Service: English available Facilities: The room has a balcony where you can smoke, and there is a spa downstairs. I saw nude swimming, so I had to bring my own swimsuit, which is sold in the surrounding stores. Hygiene: tidy Summer and winter should be the best times, and the lake often fogs up in October.

Location of the hotel is great. Right at the lake with a private beach. Breakfast is great and the personnel is helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and well kept.

Nice breakfast, however drinkwise there isnt much. Hotel rooms seem old but is comfortable. Heating system is old.

They also check stuff for you if you have questions about where to go in terms of hiking and bus connections. You get a small smart TV in the room that even has the ability to watch Netflix. Very modern feel, the place just opened. Some parts are still under construction and some services are still not working as expected, may need a few more months to get everything working perfectly.

Nice hotel located in the Southern part of Germany close to the Swiss border. Nice room with a big bathroom in a typical German design of the region. The hotel has a nice pool, but their sauna area is really creepy. Nothing special. We had one overnight stay and enjoyed including their breakfast. Excellent strong free WiFi and car park.
