I'll start with what went less well: The noise insulation of the room was bad. We could hear the people in the next room talking, and we could clearly tell what TV channel they were watching. I'm guessing it was an elderly couple, as they woke up at 7am and would watch TV until the breakfast buffet started at 8am. Two nights in a row, that I didn't get a full nights sleep. A beautiful hotel by Lake ziegelsee. The hotel had their own boat dock. The view from our room was of the lake. The was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly, and check in was quick. My only complaint was lack of air conditioning. It was quite warm when we were there even with windows open. Breakfast buffet was good.

This is a very nice property with clean and spacious rooms. Good breakfast and dinner. A boardwalk next to the lake is in front of the property.

We stayed here over NYE. We were lucky enough to be staying in one of the studios, which, of course, is a little more expensive than the regular rooms. But well worth it. Nice lighting in the room, comfortable bed, spacious. We will certainly come again and now that we are spoilt, not taking the studio will be hard. Great restaurant with outdoor/garden seating area. Perfect to relax after a long day at the office. Bedrooms need some refresh because they look a bit dated. But the beds are comfy and area is quiet. The WiFi is very weak so don’t rely on it.

We spent a weekend here to visit relatives in Schwerin. The hotel is located in a rural setting, a bit outside of town, but the center is still a quick drive away. The late check in (past 7pm) was at the bar. It created an interesting reception. Pleasantly surprised with the spacious and clean accommodation though. Check out during their usual hours was much more what I expected.

Nice big apartment We arrived very late, and oucked up the keys at the bar. We only stayed overnight, so not a lot of interaction with staff. Lication was great for us, between cemetery, cathedral, and palace.

Nice, clean hotel in a quiet location. The room under the roof is a bit tricky to use but everything was OK.

A small (hotel) right on the tracks. The gentleman at the front desk was nice. There you can also get a hair dryer on request. On the upper floor are the rooms with sloping ceilings and the bathroom, especially the shower. The mattress was annoying and kept slipping.

Very well located hotel. I liked the room because it was functional and clean. If you are mobile then you have an ideal location here to go to Wismar Schwerin or to a beach. The lake in front of the hotel and the swimming area are also beautiful.

Indeed a great hotel. Self check-in is available, which really surprized me in a positive way. The staff speak English flawlessly, so no need to worry if you would need German language. The rooms are 9/10 clean. The location is super too.

The bed was horrible. In a small hotel like that a good bed for one night you are staying there is the only thing you need after a day's drive and this is exactly the one thing the hotel fails to deliver. A high quality hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are very new and clean. Also great if you are also going to the Waterpark as you have an exclusive entryway. The breakfast is also one of the best in Germany.

Comfort, fun, quality of food recording to price where super! We had a very nice stay with our little girl of 9 months. The only thing I can think of that we found odd was the difference in wine glasses since we where drinking the same wine.

I really enjoyed the experience, especially the pools and different water activities. The room was always very clean and organized. I recommend this hotel, it’s next to the Hochschule Wismar, which is an advantage if you are studying or teaching there for a few days. Thanks.

Like the Sauna, unfortunately Dampf sauna is under repair. Breakfast is good, but missing fish. The location is directly in market Square. Parking is 17euro per day not cheap. The service personnel are very friendly and helpful.

Ok Hotel outside Wismar. Good swimmingpool and sauna. Ok restaurant but food average.

The hotel itself is a bit abroad from Wismar. The rooms were tidy, the staff at the reception friendly. The breakfast buffet was diverse. Sweet pastry, English breakfast, graved salmon, cold cuts and an asortment of bread were available. It was a good choice if you don't mind staying NEAR Wismar instead of staying IN Wismar.

Rooms was fine, but smells weird. Pool/wellness was a joke and was naked sauna. Food was good and nice staffing. Price was great.

We were welcomed by a very nice woman in the reception, who took good care of us and showed us around before she took us to our room. The room itself was large and with plenty of space. The apartment is good. No WiFi in the apartment, just in the reception. The restaurant is expensive for just convenience food.

Location is nice. Wifi is very bad though. No wifi in the room, and also 4G doesn’t work in the room and on the premises. In 2020 that is no good.

Another fantastic weekend at the A-rosa FANTASTIC. However at bit wird when reception staff asks if we are on the right floor (penthouse)…. 🤔 …. We assume it was due to our travelling clothes however still a word feeling beeing welcomed like that… Celebration of women’s day started with a glass of champagne 🍾 for the women.. 🙏

Very nice classic hotel with wellness and mixed spa area. The surroundings have not much to offer. The bar area have an awful bad acoustic they have to do something about, as people cant either talk or even hear the music (a pianist when we where at the place) so most people lieve or go to ther room.

We stayed in the old part of the hotel in a suite for 5 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. The toilet had a bit of a sewer smell but not bad. I didn't enjoy trying to figure out the light switches. The spa was lovely and peaceful. The main restaurant food was delicious.
