This small hotel is probably the Nr. 1 in Schwerin Old Town. You can feel the personal dedication to every detail by the owner ladies. And the friendly service by the staff. The Niederländischer Hof provides an elegant yet cozy atmosphere overall. Great view from the breakfast room over the Pfaffenteich lake. My favorite was the Kaminzimmer (library with fire place) where I could indulge in my Romeo y Julieta. This is definitely the only place for aficionados in Schwerin!

Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. Very unique feel. Excellent staff. Very strongly recommend. 2 minute walk from station and I minute walk along a lake into Schwerin Altstadt

Good location. The city center can be easily reached on foot, by bus or tram.

Finally it was time again, a girls' weekend was upon us! In order not to drive too far in the times of Corona and not to have too high a risk, we drove to Schwerin. Not too far from Berlin and still far enough to get a little holiday feeling! The hotel "Niederländischer Hof" was the perfect choice for our accommodation! We were greeted warmly upon arrival and check-in went smoothly. When we were able to move into our rooms after the first sightseeing tour of the city, we were impressed by the charm of the rooms. The beds are a bit hard, but of course there is no comparison to the waterbed at home. In the evening, after a night watchman tour, we were then treated to a culinary treat by the gentleman at the reception at the bar. He is not only a beekeeper, but also served delicious cocktails under "instruction"! The four of us were thrilled! In the morning we were spoiled by a small but fine breakfast buffet. Next time I'll travel with my husband!
