I was here for a meeting meaning that my review is solely focussed on the service, catering and parking. The food was excellent. They were mostly fingerfoods for the event. However it was world class. The staff were however not well informed on what they served meaning they could not tell us what exactly they were serving us with respect to the Vegans in the group. The rooms are excellent, but the breakfast is terrible. For €19, I expect at least a little effort. My impression is that they did everything so that they could say that they have breakfast, without bothering about the details of the taste, not to mention the arrangement.

Great hotel with extremely friendly service! We booked on short notice and found a great deal. Our room was huge for us, way bigger than we expected from the description. Breakfast was very decent with pancakes, an omelette station, fruits, bread, and cereals. An easy to find, and quiet hotel. Not much sound outside. Easy to rest out after a long drive 😴 Very nice rooms, that have a cool design and a premium feel to them 👏 People who work here are nice and welcoming. Parking inside hotel garage. I'll start with what went less well: The noise insulation of the room was bad. We could hear the people in the next room talking, and we could clearly tell what TV channel they were watching. I'm guessing it was an elderly couple, as they woke up at 7am and would watch TV until the breakfast buffet started at 8am. Two nights in a row, that I didn't get a full nights sleep. A beautiful hotel by Lake ziegelsee. The hotel had their own boat dock. The view from our room was of the lake. The was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly, and check in was quick. My only complaint was lack of air conditioning. It was quite warm when we were there even with windows open. Breakfast buffet was good.

This is a very nice property with clean and spacious rooms. Good breakfast and dinner. A boardwalk next to the lake is in front of the property.

We stayed here over NYE. We were lucky enough to be staying in one of the studios, which, of course, is a little more expensive than the regular rooms. But well worth it. Nice lighting in the room, comfortable bed, spacious. We will certainly come again and now that we are spoilt, not taking the studio will be hard. Great restaurant with outdoor/garden seating area. Perfect to relax after a long day at the office. Bedrooms need some refresh because they look a bit dated. But the beds are comfy and area is quiet. The WiFi is very weak so don’t rely on it.

We spent a weekend here to visit relatives in Schwerin. The hotel is located in a rural setting, a bit outside of town, but the center is still a quick drive away. Great location, perfect when travelling with your dog. They cater to dogs, allowed in the restaurant and you a great dog and walking path right outside the hotel and along the lake.

Fantastic hotel, short walk to and from the train station. Great location to walk to the castle and tons of restaurants around. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and they were so helpful. The service in the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good with organic products. The hotel is very centrally located, the city center, shopping, restaurants and sights are very easy to reach. A multi-track railway line runs right past the hotel room. However, the room is so well insulated that you didn't hear anything about it. We slept wonderfully.

Nice location walking distance from railway station and the old city. Very friendly and chatty owner. Place has a slight Austrain theme (also Austrian wines in the minibar). However next to trains which cause a minor earthquake when passing.

Comfort, fun, quality of food recording to price where super! We had a very nice stay with our little girl of 9 months. The only thing I can think of that we found odd was the difference in wine glasses since we where drinking the same wine.

I really enjoyed the experience, especially the pools and different water activities. The room was always very clean and organized. I recommend this hotel, it’s next to the Hochschule Wismar, which is an advantage if you are studying or teaching there for a few days. Thanks.

Excellent hotel. The room was large and modern. Everything was very clean. The staff were super nice. The hygiene rules were impeccable. The breakfast was very plentiful and the food in the bar and restaurant was very, very tasty. We had a good time there. We would love to go back.

A hotel couldn't be better located, namely right on the beach. The room was good, and the breakfast had a good selection of food and drinks. Unfortunately, there is such a rush at breakfast in the morning that guests have to sit everywhere in the foyer because the restaurant is overcrowded. Yes, there are hotel parking spaces, but they cost a bit and are far from the hotel.

A 4* hotel whose only concern is collecting room fees. Servrice is mediocre. So e room are old and out-dated. Never again!
