I really enjoyed the location, which was very close to the sea. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was very good. The rooms were very comfortable, although they seemed a bit outdated.

We ate dinner there twice during our one week holiday. The bruschetta, fish platter, gravlax baked potatoes, three varieties and the scallops were great and tasted great. König Pils and Duckstein beer and Grauburgunder wine were also the right temperature to drink. The service was very friendly and competent. The visit is worth it anyway. One of the best restaurants in Timmendorfer Strand.

I have stayed here on 3 different occasions and it remains one of my favorite hotels. The breakfast alone is worth the trip, but the rooms are well appointed and the staff is very friendly. I've stayed in many hotels where they claim to be 5 star but they were lacking in many areas. That's just not the case here and I'm a little surprised at the harsh comments from other people.

A nice hotel of good quality, only 20km from Lübeck. We should have taken our own ergonomic pillows with us, then the nights would have been perfect.

We stayed at the Romantikhotel Fuchsbau for 1 week and felt very comfortable. The service staff is always very, very pleasant and personable. The food was delicious and very good! The rooms were wonderful too. We can definitely recommend this!!!

Very nice staff, a nice clean room - what more could you want? I would suggest playing subtle music in the background at breakfast to break up the eerie silence. And the TV should be connected to the internet. But that's grumbling on a high level. Anytime again, warmly recommended!

Very nice and quite new 'seaside style hotel' central located in Timmendorfer. Finally a hotel where you fell at home, and not just another ugly concrete-block, as hotels are most. Beds are good! The place have soul and is cozy. Staff was friendly. Good value for money and certainly recommendable.

We were this summer for the 5th time in this comfortable and top located hotel. This time we were again completely satisfied. Service and the well-being of the guests is the top priority here and therefore even unusual wishes are personally fulfilled (thanks again to the owner Mr. Lehmann and his team 😉) We will definitely come a sixth time!!

I go to the appartments since over 15 years, because it is quiet, very close to the beach and you can use the spa of the hotel. There are even a nice swimming pool and saunas in the basement. You can stay with 4 or more persons on the rooms. Also with animals. There are enough parking lots or park close for free, unloading in front of the appartments is no problem.

My partner and I stayed at the Ancora Hotel for a short vacation, we were very satisfied! :-) The hotel is in the second row, the bus stop and private parking space are directly from the door. It takes a maximum of 2 minutes to walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the city center. What more do you want?! :-) The breakfast was very tasty and the double room with balcony we had was also great and clean...

The hotel is quite centrally located but quiet. The room was very good, but there is a star deduction because of the very small closet. We almost just lived out of a suitcase. I take another star because of the WiFi that we couldn't use. Breakfast was ok.

Very nice place with great breakfast and dinner. Animals are allowed and they have feathered pillows....which is not good for people with allergies. They would not turn the sauna on before 14.30 even though we we are in there for a massage. Staff were helpful and nice in the restaurant but not at reception! In fact they were fairly rude.

We had the fire jellyfish room. It was a good size with a sleeping area and a small living area with a sofa, table, sideboard, TV, mini fridge. Kettle, cutlery and a few dishes were also available. We checked in yesterday in the evening. Great service! Asked for an extra bed for my kid and besides the bed, the receptionist brought all sorts of extras including kids sized bath ropes and small pillows. Just made us feel very welcome!
