Had a really nice stay here and perfect for families with great facilities. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Only drama are the lifts and check out is a mess. But we will learn for next time.

Room climate control non existent The Climate Control of the room was just non existent and the hotel is a bit worn. I would even say that it isn't worth the money that we paid for it.

Great location, but it’s hard to get good employees. They didn’t let me get in before 3pm and they fail to Book halbe Pension (breakfast and dinner) for the day after, so I was thrown out of the restaurant when I wanted to have dinner. Terrible experience. If the CEO would only know how bad the service is!…

Close to the beach. Great place to stay when you’re in Timmendorfer Strand. Sometimes a bit pricey though.

This hotel is not exclusiv at all, not worth the money just because its near the beach and ocean. And one lady that welcomes guest to the breakfast was starring as if she had never seen other people than Germans visit this place. Very weird! I would not recomend

The photos of the hotel and rooms on the hotel web site are very good. The service was not attentive, the were occupied with themselves more then with the guests. Breakfast mediocre. Rooms quite used up, small and not well furnished or thought through... Eg. The doors to the restrooms are just a glass door, the does not dampens anything... If you are OK with it... The service rather unfriendly..

Combine relaxation with City Sightseeing Great hotel with a great location. Near the ocean and only 25 min. away from Lübeck Altstadt. The perfect combination of a city holiday with relaxation. Good hotel in nice surroundings Nice area by the golfcource. Large and good room. Breakfast very good. Nice terrace to have a glas of wine in the evening. Irritating having to order by your mobile or a screen. The bar didn't recommend any wine and asked us to look digitally. Maybe modern times. To sum it up, a nice place to stay.

2x 18 hole golf course and close location to the city and other activities

If you don't golf, we would not recommend staying at this property. When we arrived it was quite crowded and it was not easy to park. We had to get a second room, as the first one was a climb of several flights of stairs. The restaurant food was nothing to write home about. We stayed here thinking it would be convenient to the Travemunde ferry, which it was not. It was quite far away. Again,...

Bed and shower were good. Not able to make coffee or tea at the room. No microwave. No nothing: just showering and sleeping.

I have stayed here on 3 different occasions and it remains one of my favorite hotels. The breakfast alone is worth the trip, but the rooms are well appointed and the staff is very friendly. I've stayed in many hotels where they claim to be 5 star but they were lacking in many areas. That's just not the case here and I'm a little surprised at the harsh comments from other people.

Whenever I rate a hotel or restaurant I look at three things: a) service/courtesy I booked a room with seaview. When entering the room I found that it was obstructed seaview. Hence I contacted the reservation and was told that I must have overlooked the comment. I told them, that my reservation clearly mentions seaview. We checked in yesterday in the evening. Great service! Asked for an extra bed for my kid and besides the bed, the receptionist brought all sorts of extras including kids sized bath ropes and small pillows. Just made us feel very welcome!

The best kept secret in Scharbeutz. Wonderful hotel, but made even better by the most wonderful staff. The check in, the restaurant staff, the barman, all brilliant. Superb location, great food, and attached to the spa.

Even the though the rooms needed a bit of an update, the service was very friendly and it's very well located. You'll have direct access to the Ostsee Therme and to a private beach (pretty handy in COVID-19 times...). I also recommend the massage. ;)

Loved it, the service was excelent and you get treated like royalty, They have their own strawberry jam and marmelade, the hotel has a shore and a lake for the people staying on the hotel. I would really recommend it, if you are looking for a little bit of a nicer place you should definetly check this hotell out, the rooms were really nice and you get daily cleaning and room service if you want.

The room was very nice, with a view of the sea. I really enjoyed the wellness on the first day. I went to the restaurant and ate schnitzel, which was also very good.

One star deducted for the lack of WiFi in our room, and the hotel can't be held responsible for the stolen flip-flops in the hotel sauna. Still, it's a shame that something like that spoiled our stay a little. Otherwise, everything was very nice.

We spent our holiday in Scharbeutz with 4 generations and everyone felt completely at home at Bayside. Unbeatable location, the rooftop bar was amazing, the breakfast was a culinary highlight with a view of the Baltic Sea and the staff was extremely friendly. Great little hotel at the harbour promenade of Travelünde. The location is outstanding and only 7 mins from the beach - however you won’t feel the walk as you’re just passing by the sea and all the lovely restaurants and shops. This is an attractive old-style hotel with wide wooden staircase, high ceilings and grand seafront view. As you climb the stairs squeak in a low tone. A great location minutes to the beach from you room. Spa is great the hot tub is the only thing I can say was not great as it was very shallow. The relaxation pool was a way better option breakfast buffet is great with a huge selection best to arrive earlier as it gets busy

This was our second visit, we had a voucher to redeem, and overall it was a pleasant stay. The wellness area was great, the food was not bad, and staff were friendly throughout. However, checkout felt a bit impersonal — the receptionist didn’t ask about our experience and went straight to the invoice. For the room price, we expected a more thoughtful farewell.

Very nice classic hotel with wellness and mixed spa area. The surroundings have not much to offer. The bar area have an awful bad acoustic they have to do something about, as people cant either talk or even hear the music (a pianist when we where at the place) so most people lieve or go to ther room.

Top location, great view. The furnishings are a bit dated, especially noticeable in the bathroom. Breakfast was very good.

This gem is a really calm and perfect place to stay in. So CLEAN and great a SPA. The restaurant serves delicious food and with great personal service. Beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are very light. Kira Malden Hemen even sorted out a mistake done by me through ***********. I advise to book directly with the hotel. I am definitely coming back.

The Hotel was really fantastic. As a family and friend with two kids. We booked two rooms. We came in the hotel very early and our room was ready. We didn't wait. Location and service was awesome. It is near also at the beach to take the sun anytime. We will plan again next year. Maybe that time all renovation are finished. 5 star for flamingo.

Nice small rooms. We had one with a view on the balcony of neighbouring hotel, so the curtains were always closed. Breakfast is tasty and fitting, includes champagne. Minus: very cold water in the swimming pool, bad sound insulation (one can hear the elevator going up and down all niggt long)

I came by just for a coffee at the terrace and it was quite dissappointing. I mean 5 star hotel and you get a cappuccino from an automat... Please, please, buy a proper machine and employ barista. On the other hand, service was really nice (which saved this place from 1 star..).

It is a 3 minute walk to the typical Strandkoerbe (semi-closed beach loungers) on the beach and the pier with a restaurant at its end. My partner and I stayed at the Ancora Hotel for a short vacation, we were very satisfied! :-) The hotel is in the second row, the bus stop and private parking space are directly from the door. It takes a maximum of 2 minutes to walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the city center. The hotel is quite centrally located but quiet. The room was very good, but there is a star deduction because of the very small closet. We almost just lived out of a suitcase. I take another star because of the WiFi that we couldn't use. Breakfast was ok.

We were this summer for the 5th time in this comfortable and top located hotel. This time we were again completely satisfied. Service and the well-being of the guests is the top priority here and therefore even unusual wishes are personally fulfilled (thanks again to the owner Mr. Lehmann and his team 😉) We will definitely come a sixth time!!
