The hotel is at such nice location! Just superb! We experienced great service, especially hotel being booked out they been able to move us around well and found something. Pool is so nice, outside and inside, we spend a lot of time there. Beach is walking distance, a lot of food around. 2 recommendations: I think would be nice also to consider more things for kids, in the pool and especially food...

I have stayed here on 3 different occasions and it remains one of my favorite hotels. The breakfast alone is worth the trip, but the rooms are well appointed and the staff is very friendly. I've stayed in many hotels where they claim to be 5 star but they were lacking in many areas. That's just not the case here and I'm a little surprised at the harsh comments from other people.

Whenever I rate a hotel or restaurant I look at three things: a) service/courtesy I booked a room with seaview. When entering the room I found that it was obstructed seaview. Hence I contacted the reservation and was told that I must have overlooked the comment. I told them, that my reservation clearly mentions seaview. After 5 minutes I was offered a different room with the request to pay 60 Euros...

Good hotel in nice surroundings Nice area by the golfcource. Large and good room. Breakfast very good. Nice terrace to have a glas of wine in the evening. Irritating having to order by your mobile or a screen. The bar didn't recommend any wine and asked us to look digitally. Maybe modern times. To sum it up, a nice place to stay.

2x 18 hole golf course and close location to the city and other activities

If you don't golf, we would not recommend staying at this property. When we arrived it was quite crowded and it was not easy to park. We had to get a second room, as the first one was a climb of several flights of stairs. The restaurant food was nothing to write home about. Beautiful hotel with a healthy atmosphere with wonderful rooms and great restaurant with wonderful service

4 nights, positive: the breakfast is really good, negative: the shower doesn't work at all, only suitable for very slim people. The bed ... you roll out, sleep on a hillside, the staff smokes right in front of the window on the ground floor, when I left I had to discuss for 10 minutes that I had already paid for the room in advance. And of course I wasn't asked how I enjoyed my stay ... they don't...

Great hotel, with a wonderful spa. It's literally on the beach and have beautiful window views of the sea. Swimming pool, sauna and massages. The breakfast is simply spectacular and the two restaurants are also worth a visit. The bedroom is very comfortable. In resume, a nice place to relax during the vacation time.

I only spent a night in the apartment down the street with my cousin. Modern but needing some finishing touches like art on the walls and some basic cupboards in the bedroom for clothes. The Hotel was really fantastic. As a family and friend with two kids. We booked two rooms. We came in the hotel very early and our room was ready. We didn't wait. Location and service was awesome. It is near also at the beach to take the sun anytime. We will plan again next year. Maybe that time all renovation are finished. 5 star for flamingo.

Nice small rooms. We had one with a view on the balcony of neighbouring hotel, so the curtains were always closed. Breakfast is tasty and fitting, includes champagne. Minus: very cold water in the swimming pool, bad sound insulation (one can hear the elevator going up and down all niggt long)

My partner and I stayed at the Ancora Hotel for a short vacation, we were very satisfied! :-) The hotel is in the second row, the bus stop and private parking space are directly from the door. It takes a maximum of 2 minutes to walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the city center. The hotel is quite centrally located but quiet. The room was very good, but there is a star deduction because of the very small closet. We almost just lived out of a suitcase. I take another star because of the WiFi that we couldn't use. Breakfast was ok.

We were this summer for the 5th time in this comfortable and top located hotel. This time we were again completely satisfied. Service and the well-being of the guests is the top priority here and therefore even unusual wishes are personally fulfilled (thanks again to the owner Mr. Lehmann and his team 😉) We will definitely come a sixth time!!

This hotel is not exclusiv at all, not worth the money just because its near the beach and ocean. And one lady that welcomes guest to the breakfast was starring as if she had never seen other people than Germans visit this place. Very weird! I would not recomend

The photos of the hotel and rooms on the hotel web site are very good. The service was not attentive, the were occupied with themselves more then with the guests. Breakfast mediocre. Rooms quite used up, small and not well furnished or thought through... Eg. The doors to the restrooms are just a glass door, the does not dampens anything... If you are OK with it... We checked in yesterday in the evening. Great service! Asked for an extra bed for my kid and besides the bed, the receptionist brought all sorts of extras including kids sized bath ropes and small pillows. Just made us feel very welcome!

Combine relaxation with City Sightseeing Great hotel with a great location. Near the ocean and only 25 min. away from Lübeck Altstadt. The perfect combination of a city holiday with relaxation. The spa was sadly closed due to environmental concerns. The pool was a bit too cold to relax in, it was more of an exercise pool. Two saunas, one with and one without bathing suits on. Dejlig hotel med venlig personale Dejligt hotel med virkelig venligt og serviceminded personale. Især i receptionen blev vi meget fint modtaget. Altid et smil og en hilsen. Fin pool, fin kåbe og strandhåndklæder til at låne. Tæt på stranden. Virkelig fin morgenmad med rigtig meget lækkert forskelligt mad og sekt. Excellent stay in renovated hotel in Niendorf Welcoming stay at a renovated hotel. Friendly staff and large newly appointed room with balcony and sea view across the street. Very close to Niendorf harbour. Overall excellent stay and would certainly come again.

I go to the appartments since over 15 years, because it is quiet, very close to the beach and you can use the spa of the hotel. There are even a nice swimming pool and saunas in the basement. You can stay with 4 or more persons on the rooms. Also with animals. There are enough parking lots or park close for free, unloading in front of the appartments is no problem.

I came by just for a coffee at the terrace and it was quite dissappointing. I mean 5 star hotel and you get a cappuccino from an automat... Please, please, buy a proper machine and employ barista. On the other hand, service was really nice (which saved this place from 1 star..).
