Where to stay in Todtnauberg

Second time in the same season and it was not so good as in January. I felt the season was already not on its top and the hotel was a bit unstaffed already. Still ok but I'll pick another option next year

Great hotel only disappointment was the closing of the kitchen at 8pm, a little early if you go out for the day

Great host (Nadia)! Super Friendly staff and great hospitality! The pool is big and warm and the sauna and steam rooms are amazing! Good food too. Highly recommended!!! Beautiful views and nice paths for little hikes also.

I ate twice here. First time was amazing. Really good food and great service from the single waitress with a full room of tables. Second time was less good. Still good food, but the two waiters didn't seem interested in actually serving the tables.

Was traveling through the black forest and booked the room online about 20 min before arriving. They offered me a complimentary sparking wine while I waited for them to find my reservation. The room was way bigger than expected and was extremely clean. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent. The only complaint was that WiFi was only available in the lobby area and was unbearable slow. The chalet is beautiful and majorly in the best location. The view from Todnauberg is fantastic. The staff are friendly. Enjoyed the hot tub with view. The rooms are big . The morning buffet was good too

Room was a little dated but still nice , bed was comfortable and the food was very good , breakfast good also amazing location for motorbike touring .

Everything was perfect. Comfortable beds, good linen, the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to prepare meals. The location was excellent and it was magical in the snow.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. We had a very nice room (with 2 bedrooms!) And a large balcony. Dinner and breakfast was of high quality. Also the staff is very friendly.

Beautiful hotel located in an scenic sorrounding. Staff is friendly and everything is neat and tidy. As a suggestion, they could improve the breakfast options as now is very limited. Maybe offering more coffee or even veggies could make a change

Net appartement met vriendelijke eigenaren. Alles netjes, schoon en verzorgd. De hond was ook meer dan welkom. Leuke uitvalsbasis voor een aantal fijne attracties en uitstapjes. Ook een gemeentezwembad is een aanrader om een middagje te plonzen. We hadden helaas geen balkon, maar we mochten van de eigenaar het terras gebruiken. Daar zat doordeweeks niemand. Hele mooie oplossing!

World's best homemade Black Forest cake!!! The guests at two neighboring tables said the same thing. And big slices of cake. We also had a laugh when a snow shower from the roof caught me at the table on the terrace..

We have always been happy to come back for years. The homemade cakes are a poem! The family business is friendly and attentive. Keep it up!

We had an amazing stay here. The apartments were lovely and we were really looked after by Michael. He went over and above to help us with everything. Thank you so much. Would definitely recommend staying here - a great gem.

We stayed here for a skiing holiday and couldn't fault anything about this place. It is immaculate, spotless and charming in a fantastic location for cross country and alpine skiing with a lift about a 100m from the door. The village itself is very quiet giving a feeling of a secret location for winter sports and has its own lift network for the nearby hills. There a some lovely restaurants nearby...

Short version: Shower only extremely hot water. Sink (near my room).in the room not in the private bathroom. Clean, we had two rooms that were functional, the bathroom was spacious, two toilets, both unfortunately without a sink... Breakfast buffet was good and there was something for every taste. The housekeeper was super nice and friendly. Value for money was ok. We found free covered parking spaces directly assigned to the rooms to be great. Our dog also felt comfortable and cost €5.00 per night, which...

Almost everything! The room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the (snowy) countryside, if we weren't more cautious about the water usage, we could have stayed under the shower forever! The breakfast was nice, the staff was amazing, the check in and out was delightfully simple, all digitally, only spoke to the receptionist before leaving. This is a true gem!

The view is unbelievable! If you wanna stay there I would recommend to get a room with a balcony so you can truly enjoy the scenery. The pool was really small and not so tempting and if you are going there in winter make sure to use the right tire or a chain since the way is too steep. All in all we enjoyed our stay in the Panaroma Hotel and I only gave one star less since we didn't feel that welcomed...

Nice view, delicious food and good wine. The staff was very kind and helpful. Points of improvement: the mattresses and pillows are too soft; cleaning would need a bit more attention.

We had a good stay in Hotel Sonnenalm. Breakfast was excellent. Swmimming pool and sauna : good. Only the steam bath did not function during the week, we were in the hotel. Dinner : was good. In form of buffet.

Small hotel with amazing view on top of the mountains. Small selection of buffet for breakfast which was delicious. Staffs are friendly. The timings are flexible. Appart from the view and surrounding, they also have sauna and indoor swimming pool 😍 If you want to stay, take the rooms with balcony. The view is amazing. You will feel like you are in some other world ♥️

Lovely place for a peaceful holiday! Winterwonderland view, spacious rooms, nostalgic decent interior, tasteful and honest meals, and equipped with a family-proof wellness with indoor swimming pool, sauna and steambath. Very tempting to come back!

We decided at short notice to travel to Todtnauberg for a few days and rather by chance we checked into the Hotel Sternen (Anno 1769) ... The hotel is now getting on in years, but that didn't affect the whole thing ... we just wanted to stay the night and have breakfast in the morning ... The friendly owner gave us the key to our room (number 19), which was very spacious and above all it was very clean...

Great service, comfortable room with a lot of space. The staff were especially kind. The restaurant seemed a little pricey compared to places in town, but the food was nice, and we loved the breakfast too. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Delicious food in a beautiful garden terrace overlooking the forested mountain! The service was great and very welcoming. We had the snitzel and a local wild hog bratwurst. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay if you want to visit the Sky area in Feldberg. It has a great bus connection to it and you can easily reach it. The rooms were very clean and in order. The host family and the employees were also super nice and helpful, they answer all of our questions and were always very friendly. Would stay there again for sure.

Hotel rooms were clean and well equipped. Restaurant: everything was fresh and very well prepared. I was served friendly. Price-performance ratio is very good.

Friendly and helpful hosts, good local food and spacious rooms. The ski lifts are a 5min drive away, there is also a bus stop 300m from the gasthaus. Only downside for me was that the pillows are a bit soft.

Good hotel with good food. The only negative was the "ruhe tag" and that we had to go to another hotel for diner. During the ruhe tag the hotel provided a free bus transport between the two hotels.

The place is just lovely and very close to feldberg. The staff is really nice, the room is big with a great balcony with view to the garden and mountains. The beds were excellent!!! And the shower as well. Breakfast is very good with fresh fruit salad and omelette!

Nice family hotel near the Wiese waterfall. Great scenery. Good bathrooms - a bit small but with nice hot water, a good and powerful hair dryer. Spacious rooms with balcony. Free and sufficient parking. Great and central location for a week in the black forest.

Cool Location. Perfect Hotel to take a break for couple of days as a motorcyclist. The hotel is located at the top of the Notschreipass.

Got down for a break whilst traveling. Hotel is currently closed due to Corona but there's a small concession stand running selling hot and cold drinks as well as hot food. We had a coffee and it was fine. The sausages were quite appetizing on a cold day

Ideal location on a pass right in the Black Forest, perfect for hiking and biking. E-MTB's, swimming pool and wellness available on site. Vegan menu is one of the best ever. Corona-proof - we felt very safe while here.

A nice hotel with friendly staff that speak English quite well. The sauna, swimming pool and spa are nice to visit as well, and the massage is worth it if you just did a long hike or are about to leave for one! The rooms are clean and nice, and the restaurant is more than decent!

Small hotel, located in the countryside, large parking lot, quiet location, clean. Food was very good, good service. Pool is on the garden level, with massage jets, perfectly adequate and water at a good temperature. Was with a small dog - he was welcome and no problems.

We are all absolutely thrilled! 4 days we were pampered by incredibly nice and dedicated hosts. Delicious and honest fresh cuisine. Here you can feel the love for handicraft. No wish seems too much and you just feel welcome and in good hands. In addition, uncomplicated hosts who are so open and friendly. We would love to come back again.

We had a wonderful time, though it was a short holiday, but the two days were rejuvenating. The food was exquisite and we enjoyed the stay very much. Not to miss, the hosts were lovely people. We look forward to an another visit soon. I guess if its Schwarzwald, its only Landhaus Sonnenhof Schwarzwald.

Good food for fair price. If you walk onto the hochkopf mountain there are some nice views of the Swiss alps to when the skies are clear.

Great location for short holidays. Owners are really kind and warm. The restaurant and cafe is also very good. I strongly recommend homemade cakes at the noon time.
