Amazing service. You can see everybody smiles but under facemask tho 😊🇩🇪 English talking stuff is lovely. Food is original, tasty and healthy.

The location of the hotel is great, beach, port, everything is close, rooms are clean. Only the toilet in the room could not be installed. Parking fee for HOCH TAG 15,00 euros. Friendly staff, especially Mrs. Christine Busse at the reception, very helpful.

Beautiful, modern and in a great location. Those who want to watch the water and/or ships will get their money's worth here. Another fantastic weekend at the A-rosa FANTASTIC. However at bit wird when reception staff asks if we are on the right floor (penthouse)…. 🤔 …. We assume it was due to our travelling clothes however still a word feeling beeing welcomed like that… Celebration of women’s day started with a glass of champagne 🍾 for the women.. 🙏

Very nice classic hotel with wellness and mixed spa area. The surroundings have not much to offer. The bar area have an awful bad acoustic they have to do something about, as people cant either talk or even hear the music (a pianist when we where at the place) so most people lieve or go to ther room.

We stayed in the old part of the hotel in a suite for 5 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. The toilet had a bit of a sewer smell but not bad. I didn't enjoy trying to figure out the light switches. The spa was lovely and peaceful. The main restaurant food was delicious.

A good place to stay overnight after the ferry. Latest check-in possibility, pet-friendly. Happy that I found them.

Considering its location (a stone's throw from the port), it's very reasonably priced. A good option for cyclists because of their lockable bike-shed. The rooms are nothing to write home about, in the good or bad sense. Gluten-free options were quite limited at the included breakfast. Only a few staff members knew English, but that seems to hold for every place in (northern) Germany.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are simple but spacious. Nice semiprivate outdoor space outside of rooms. Breakfast is delicious. Everything is very clean and presented with care and attention to detail. Wifi is unreliable, but that seems to be the norm here, even at the Hilton.

The rooms are huge and nice. The view (room with sea view) is amazing. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We had a great stay with small kid, under 2 years old. During the winter the room is well warmed. We will come backback :) Fully recommended

Right on to the promenade in Travemünde, the windows of this restaurant face the beach and sea. The staff here is very nice and helpful. Enjoyed coffee and cake at this place.

The hotel from the 19th century exudes a personal atmosphere. Comfortable rooms, personal welcome, good breakfast frame the stay. Holiday begins where you can let yourself go. The hotel is located in Niendorf on the main street in the second row to the beach. This can be reached on foot in under a minute and is nowhere near as crowded as e.g. in Timmendorfer-Strand or Scharbeutz, which we liked again more than usual during this time (Corona). The rooms are partly freshly renovated with a lot of passion and we felt very comfortable. Ms. Hagge and her staff were always approachable...

A great hotel in a beautiful location! However, the shower is disastrous, the shower jet is so hard that it really hurts to shower. The mattresses are also very worn out. And the friendliness of the info mails, as well as the hotel owner really left a lot to be desired.

Although the hotel is in a renovation phase, everything is still very nice and cozy. The rooms are not ready yet, but the breakfast rooms are beautiful and there is a super delicious breakfast with a very nice team that is always friendly and courteous. We are glad that we were able to vacation there again, like every year. Many thanks at this point to the first-class team!

A very cozy guesthouse for a family. There is free WiFi, a small kitchen with utensils, an electric stove, a microwave oven, all the necessary utensils, a refrigerator, a TV. Beautiful wallpaper and decorations with marine motives. Clean linens, towels. Cozy! Almost everything is at home !!! Near the beach. a little expensive but worth it!

The photos of the hotel and rooms on the hotel web site are very good. The service was not attentive, the were occupied with themselves more then with the guests. Breakfast mediocre. Rooms quite used up, small and not well furnished or thought through... Eg. The doors to the restrooms are just a glass door, the does not dampens anything... If you are OK with it... The service rather unfriendly..

4 days stay Quiet nice place - next to the beach and restaurants. Clean area. Several shops and restaurants only accept cash? I wounder why. The room were nice and even with a tiny sea view. Be aware of a very hard mattress in the double bed. Not good at all. The single beds had normal mattresses.

A good location with easy access to the beach. The apartment was a good size with a nice kitchen setup. The pool is amazing! There were a few minor inconveniences (not enough toilet paper, hair dryer broken, not enough trash bags) and the staff was slow to fix these. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay and the location was good.

I have stayed here on 3 different occasions and it remains one of my favorite hotels. The breakfast alone is worth the trip, but the rooms are well appointed and the staff is very friendly. I've stayed in many hotels where they claim to be 5 star but they were lacking in many areas. That's just not the case here and I'm a little surprised at the harsh comments from other people.

Whenever I rate a hotel or restaurant I look at three things: a) service/courtesy I booked a room with seaview. When entering the room I found that it was obstructed seaview. Hence I contacted the reservation and was told that I must have overlooked the comment. I told them, that my reservation clearly mentions seaview. After 5 minutes I was offered a different room with the request to pay 60 Euros...

It is a 3 minute walk to the typical Strandkoerbe (semi-closed beach loungers) on the beach and the pier with a restaurant at its end. Found "Klara" via an online portal, but contacted the operators privately. Mr Köster gave us super good advice, we stayed at the "Wassermann" and everything was spotless. He and his partner run the house lovingly and with heart in family tradition...

We were this summer for the 5th time in this comfortable and top located hotel. This time we were again completely satisfied. Service and the well-being of the guests is the top priority here and therefore even unusual wishes are personally fulfilled (thanks again to the owner Mr. Lehmann and his team 😉) We will definitely come a sixth time!!

Pool is so nice, outside and inside, we spend a lot of time there. Sehr entgegen kommendes Personal! In einer med. Notlage wurde umgehend ein Arzt gerufen! Bei med. Notwendig des Abbruchs des Aufenthaltes wurde auf die vereinbarte Rest Zahlung verzichtet. Frühstück sehr gut und hellem, freundlichen Ambiente. Zimmerausstattung sehr gut, nur war das EZ sehr klein, aber ausreichend! Die Lage ist top! Very nice staff, a nice clean room - what more could you want? I would suggest playing subtle music in the background at breakfast to break up the eerie silence. And the TV should be connected to the internet. But that's grumbling on a high level. Anytime again, warmly recommended!

We had the fire jellyfish room. It was a good size with a sleeping area and a small living area with a sofa, table, sideboard, TV, mini fridge. Kettle, cutlery and a few dishes were also available. The Hotel was really fantastic. As a family and friend with two kids. We booked two rooms. We came in the hotel very early and our room was ready. We didn't wait. Location and service was awesome. It is near also at the beach to take the sun anytime. We will plan again next year. Maybe that time all renovation are finished. 5 star for flamingo.

Nice small rooms. We had one with a view on the balcony of neighbouring hotel, so the curtains were always closed. Breakfast is tasty and fitting, includes champagne. Minus: very cold water in the swimming pool, bad sound insulation (one can hear the elevator going up and down all niggt long)

A hotel where you feel comfortable. Here you can relax, go to the sauna and of course use the great swimming pool, which is what we did. The staff very attentive and very nice. My partner and I stayed at the Ancora Hotel for a short vacation, we were very satisfied! :-) The hotel is in the second row, the bus stop and private parking space are directly from the door. It takes a maximum of 2 minutes to walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the city center. What more do you want?! :-) The breakfast was very tasty and the double room with balcony we had was also great and clean...

The hotel is quite centrally located but quiet. The room was very good, but there is a star deduction because of the very small closet. We almost just lived out of a suitcase. I take another star because of the WiFi that we couldn't use. Breakfast was ok.
