Hotel opened in 1987, renovated in 2003. In this mini-hotel 78 rooms, 4 floors.
Policies and conditions
- Public parking is possible on site (reservation is not possible) and costs EUR 5 per day.

Children up to and including 2 years old stay for € 10 per person per night when using an available cot.
Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an existing bed.
People 4 years old and over stay for € 35 per person per night when using an available extra bed.

We checked in to room 220 last night, a family room for 4. The state of the room is horrifying. Our baby’s mattress is blood stained, one towel is blood stained, the room is dirty and many things are not functional. Broken shutters, ripped curtains, mold in the shower and hair on the bed stand.
We cannot warm water in the room for the baby bottle so we had to go downstairs each time. There is no fridge, water kettle. This room is absolutely disgusting and we are horrified by the lack of hygiene. Here are pictures we took of the room.
We will definitely not be coming back.

Overpriced for the small rooms. The queen size beds are two single person beds. The wellness closes at 9. No false advertising, just not worth the price.

Business trip where we made use of the LOFT which was perfect for an all day meeting. Lunch was very good served in the restaurant as was breakfast.
My room was well equipped, quiet and bed comfortable. Location is good as we explored the city in the evening.

Not recommended for international tourists as most of staff doesn't speak English and they always approach you in German.
The room was decent. Beds were comfy but double bed is just two single beds standing together which has its downsides. Bathroom was ok but lacked light - it was really dark there. Overall the room could use some cleaning - it was rather dusty.
Most of the food we tried felt way too plain lacking spices although some dishes were really good, especially roast beef. For breakfast there was a nice variety of proteins and cheese spreads but everything else e.g. porridges, granolas, yoghurt or fruit mix was bad.
The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a nice walk and meet some unusual ducks and swans.
There's also a Lidl nearby, so you can buy some crucial stuff like drinking water (there was no complementary bottle from hotel).
Mosel river is a 10 min walk and Old Town is a 30 min walk away.
I would recommend checking other hotels before booking this one.

The place had a nice feel about it.was clean and food was excellent. Most of the staffvwent over and above.

Food and service were OK, but nothing to write home about. Seasoning of the tartar and also the sauces of the mains were a bit too strong and overloaded the taste of the meat/fish instead of just supporting it.

The food is simply great! Also the personnel is very friendly and often even thinks ahead.
We had a beautiful day with our children, visiting the restaurant with the huge park.

McDonalds?you should never ask about it.they are always Good.But if owners are reading it, i'd like to ask them to deliver the burgers a little bit hotter and warmer than usual.it tastes better.although i know that they do it always fresh.but personally i like it really hot😅

Very delicious & rich buffet Breakfast, good connections, fast in the centre of Trier, Top location on the Park!!! Unfortunately, a very small and dilapidated hotel room (114), nothing for great guests... We would note for bookings the next time a room in the direction of the Park! The Hotel gets of us **** We say Thank you :-)
