Where to stay in Velbert

Very nice hotel. The room was spacey, clean and nicely done. I had a beautiful view to the park. The attached Restaurant has nice food even though the vegetarian alternatives are hard to find. So they could improve on that. The breakfast buffet was delicious and well done. The room prices are fair. You can walk from here in 10min. To the town center

Excellent hotel

Hotel is fine, nice large rooms the restaurant quality could have been a little better. There is a very nice park behind the hotel that is worth a visit.

Ok hotel, meals and room interior is very nice. But don't go there during heat waves, there is no AC in the rooms.

Just great! This hotel lives from the hosts and the attention to detail. The combination of “old and new” and a breathtaking kitchen is simply excellent. We celebrated a small wedding and loved every course. The rooms were nice, clean and big. And the breakfast also fully confirmed this quality. Thank you very much and please continue in the same way….!

I can talk a lot about the advantages of this hotel, but I want to highlight the most basic ones. The owners of the hotel have made this place so comfortable and cozy that you will feel like at home. The dishes are exquisitely prepared and very tasty, the dishes are served with love, very nice and tasty! Come here and you will not regret!

Stayed here for some training recently and the hotel is great. It's modern and spotlessly clean and the owners and staff are incredibly helpful We had a dinner with a group of about 30 people on both nights we stayed and the food was excellent. Breakfast was great too. Lots of choice and they would make something for you if you asked I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Velbert

Very good hotel, only just opened, family run with very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

A bit old fashioned (but spacious) rooms however, it is super clean and quiet. You can sleep here like a baby. They also have very nice mid size pillows not like other hotels with the giant ones. Very cossy after all. Nice view from the window to the forest. Also lots of nature around. Friendly staff. They speak English very well. Very good breakfast. Absolute bargain!

Centrally located. Easy access. Nice walking trails. Plentiful water pressure for showers. Able to walk to downtown for shopping, bank, or dinner.

This is a lovely hotel in a tranquil setting. Nicely decorated in the main areas, the rooms are slightly older but still in excellent condition. Food in the restaurant was also very good..will stay here again for my next business trip.

The rooms are small and there is no escalator in the building. I have stayed one time here, probably not preferred for next visit.

Hotel is quaint and dated but very clean. Beds are small. Beds have soft matresses and they are squeaqing everytime you move. It is The same for other Rooms as well, as you can hear at night the Beds from other Rooms. If you are more than 1.8m long your feet will be in the air. Staff is friendly. I phoned and booked in the plane just before my Munich - Düsseldorf flight took off. I was a little desperate as I had no place to stay and my flight arrived at 20h30ish. Astrid answered the phone and nothing was a problem. Friendly, welcoming and uncomplicated. I arrived in my "FreeNow" lift at 21h45 and everything looked quiet. I went through the grand wrought iron and glass door and in the lobby...

So comfy and quiet, and they have the nicest team.

Very quiet at night and a delicious brötchen breakfast buffet in the morning. A nice, modern and a little bit luxurious place to stay in a perfectly quaint town. It was a good place to spend our last night in Germany.

Clean, modern and spatious room, free breakfast and free parking. TV set was unfortunately very small, no bath tub. All in all good place to stay for a business trip on limited budget. Reception is only present until noon, make sure to call in so you know where to pick up the keys.

No Internet,supposedly wi-fi but I was unable to connect ! Parking ? under the hotel for 4 small cars! The second underground a few tens of meters from the hotel. Otherwise, everything is fine.

Außergewöhnlich freundliches Personal. Uns wurde das Gefühl vermittelt, dass man uns gern umsorgt. Uns wurden alle extra-Wünsche mit großer Hilfsbereitschaft erfüllt (sicherer Platz im Haus für teure Fahrräder/ Bügeleisen und -Brett für Kleidung zu einem für uns wichtigen Event / Hunde überall willkommen / Frühstück vom Buffet nach einer langen Partynacht mit aufs Zimmer nehmen können...

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Es wurde sehr auf Einhaltung der COVID Regeln geachtet, was ich persönlich extrem begrüße.

Ich hatte ein sehr gemütliches Zimmer mit einem geräumigen Bad. Sehr netter Gastgeber.

The hotel location in the centre of town is excellent for exploring the cobbled streets and lanes of this historical area. Our stay in the middle of winter found the area to be very quiet but great for getting about and seeing the place. The Hotel itself was very clean and tidy with helpfull staff if required. Das Zimmer war großzügig und sehr sauber, sehr gut gut gelegen, ausgewogenes Frühstück. Gute Lage mitten in Langenberg. Getränke im Haus sehr günstig, werden das Haus weiterempfehlen. Busanbindung um das Umfeld zu erkunden sind gut. Preis und Leistung sehr gut.

Actually a nice, clean house. Absolutely incomprehensible that the signs to the house are wrong or not available? After 10 minutes of wandering, a local resident explained to me that access is via the Best Western Hotel.

Check-in at the Western Park Hotel nearby. You can also park there - for a fee. The building can then also be accessed from there. So DO NOT let Google drive you directly to the house at the park. Very friendly welcome from the new owners of the house. The rooms are clean, the breakfast buffet is attractive and there is a good selection. The hotel is located about 5 minutes from the center in a quiet area. We'd love to come back.

I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room is quite comfortable, with everything you need, there is even a bed!!! The hotel is easily accessible and you can have lunch there quite well. But what I liked best were the people who welcomed me! The lady at the reception is really adorable, just like the man I met. Thanks a lot. The (real) French ;)
