The hotel itself is a bit abroad from Wismar. The rooms were tidy, the staff at the reception friendly. The breakfast buffet was diverse. Sweet pastry, English breakfast, graved salmon, cold cuts and an asortment of bread were available. It was a good choice if you don't mind staying NEAR Wismar instead of staying IN Wismar.

Rooms was fine, but smells weird. Pool/wellness was a joke and was naked sauna. Food was good and nice staffing. Price was great.

A high quality hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are very new and clean. Also great if you are also going to the Waterpark as you have an exclusive entryway. The breakfast is also one of the best in Germany.

Comfort, fun, quality of food recording to price where super! We had a very nice stay with our little girl of 9 months. The only thing I can think of that we found odd was the difference in wine glasses since we where drinking the same wine.

I really enjoyed the experience, especially the pools and different water activities. The room was always very clean and organized. I recommend this hotel, it’s next to the Hochschule Wismar, which is an advantage if you are studying or teaching there for a few days. Thanks.

We just stayed there for one night. The service was very good, the room was comfortable and clean, the hotel is located in the middle of this beautiful old city, the staff was absolutely friendly. Great place to stay.

Classic rooms, ours unfortunately had a dirty bathroom (hairs from the previous guest(s)), we sadly also didn't get the full briefing on the room (like free first round of drinks in the fridge and bathrobes for the sauna). Great mattress.

Like the Sauna, unfortunately Dampf sauna is under repair. Breakfast is good, but missing fish. The location is directly in market Square. Parking is 17euro per day not cheap. The service personnel are very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel in centre of town with gym and bar. Parking in their car park is at extra cost! But there is lots of free parking in town.

Indeed a great hotel. Self check-in is available, which really surprized me in a positive way. The staff speak English flawlessly, so no need to worry if you would need German language. The rooms are 9/10 clean. The location is super too.

In a small hotel like that a good bed for one night you are staying there is the only thing you need after a day's drive and this is exactly the one thing the hotel fails to deliver. A shapeless pillow and an extremely uneven matras were my accomodation for the night. We were welcomed by a very nice woman in the reception, who took good care of us and showed us around before she took us to our room. The room itself was large and with plenty of space. The same goes for the bathroom, which was also clean. The bed was a bit hard and I didn't like the pillow nor the blanket. We warn for the first time on the island of Poel! After an extremely friendly welcome from the innkeeper, who is also the owner, we quickly got our room, which was furnished in a very modern way. (Unfortunately, ordering via a booking portal was not quite as easy as expected! We went there in the early afternoon for coffee and cake. We were the only guests. The selection of cakes was great, many cakes were made using rice pudding. As a result, the piece of cake - generously measured by the way - was al dente and really tasty. These cakes with rice pudding are highly recommended. The staff was really nice.

This was our first time at this hotel and we loved it. Upon arrival, we were greeted personally by the hotel owner and given our keys. The room was spacious and had a nice interior design. We especially liked the breakfast the next morning, which was delicious and varied.

Very well located hotel. I liked the room because it was functional and clean. If you are mobile then you have an ideal location here to go to Wismar Schwerin or to a beach. The lake in front of the hotel and the swimming area are also beautiful.

Hotel isn't really finished, they were still decorating our room but that was no problem. Room and bathroom were okay. A pity that the builder made lots of little mistakes (holes in the wall on the wrong places etc). The french balconies without flooring seemed awkward and also dangerous to us. The apartment is good. No WiFi in the apartment, just in the reception. The restaurant is expensive for just convenience food.

Location is nice. Wifi is very bad though. No wifi in the room, and also 4G doesn’t work in the room and on the premises. In 2020 that is no good.

We stayed here only for a night, but from what we saw, we wished we had had the possibility to experience this place for a longer period. This is definitely a place where you come to spend a longer holiday. This is a bigger complex with various room/house types. We had a studio, which consisted of a bedroom with a dining area, a kitchenette, a bathroom with a bath tub, a closet and a small patio....

I'll start with what went less well: The noise insulation of the room was bad. We could hear the people in the next room talking, and we could clearly tell what TV channel they were watching. I'm guessing it was an elderly couple, as they woke up at 7am and would watch TV until the breakfast buffet started at 8am. Two nights in a row, that I didn't get a full nights sleep. We stayed here over NYE. We were lucky enough to be staying in one of the studios, which, of course, is a little more expensive than the regular rooms. But well worth it. Nice lighting in the room, comfortable bed, spacious. We will certainly come again and now that we are spoilt, not taking the studio will be hard. Only downside: our studio had limited view of the lake. We did see the lake though...

Fabulous breakfast, really close to the beach (50m), nice pool. Our room was large, the bed comfortable, but the duvets were a bit thin. A proper working shower would have been nice, a walk-in one even better.

We stayed at this hotel in 2021 and have booked again for 2022. The location is great. A few meters and you are on the beach. The breakfast selection is very good, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is well suited for wheelchair users. Zum Fahrrad fahren ist dieses Hotel perfekt. Fahrradabstellraum vorhanden. Ausreichend Parkplätze sind auch vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und fahren nächstes Jahr wieder hin.

Great restaurant with outdoor/garden seating area. Perfect to relax after a long day at the office. Bedrooms need some refresh because they look a bit dated. But the beds are comfy and area is quiet. The WiFi is very weak so don’t rely on it.
