4 star hotels in Wismar

The hotel itself is a bit abroad from Wismar. The rooms were tidy, the staff at the reception friendly. The breakfast buffet was diverse. Sweet pastry, English breakfast, graved salmon, cold cuts and an asortment of bread were available. It was a good choice if you don't mind staying NEAR Wismar instead of staying IN Wismar.

Rooms was fine, but smells weird. Pool/wellness was a joke and was naked sauna. Food was good and nice staffing. Price was great.

Clean hotel; a bit hard to get to - use your GPS if possible as it is kind of tucked in behind a few stores. Really quite hotel, nice restaurant; overpriced breakfast. the wi-fi is not great; the connection is decent but it times out every 30-60 minutes and makes you re-enter all the log-in details. This is going to sound a bit petty but I wasn't a fan of the shower (showers are important to me)...

Standard hotel, smalle Roms without All what you ned. Good breakfast, ok danner. Rate as 4 star i woyld rater sat 3 star.

I really enjoyed the experience, especially the pools and different water activities. The room was always very clean and organized. I recommend this hotel, it’s next to the Hochschule Wismar, which is an advantage if you are studying or teaching there for a few days. Thanks.

We had an excellent stay here. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Bike rental and direct access to the pool with slides, sauna, etc. The breakfast was superb, offering everything you might like, including caviar

Wonderful resort with all amenities and very friendly staff who speak English (big plus for us) everything is clean. We booked the rooms with a joint door in between so it was easier for the family and very convenient. Enough towels for everyone and access to the aqua park through the hotel was easy. The breakfast and dinner buffets although quite extravagant for a child were perfect for adults and...

Very cool resort, I was there with my soon 6 years old and we enjoyed. Warm water in the pools a lot of space, clean, welcoming, relaxing, we will for sure go back again.

Nice place to stay for a weekend, really good breakfast, only the diner was not at the expected level... It was more like a canteen level. But nevertheless really good place.

Classic rooms, ours unfortunately had a dirty bathroom (hairs from the previous guest(s)), we sadly also didn't get the full briefing on the room (like free first round of drinks in the fridge and bathrobes for the sauna). Great mattress.

We spent a night here in July 2023 and wish we could have stayed longer. This is an excellent hotel, very well-managed with extremely friendly and helpful staff! We left the hotel with a smile on our faces and the hope to be back in Wismar soon. Like the Sauna, unfortunately Dampf sauna is under repair. Breakfast is good, but missing fish. The location is directly in market Square. Parking is 17euro per day not cheap. The service personnel are very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel in centre of town with gym and bar. Parking in their car park is at extra cost! But there is lots of free parking in town.

I liked pretty much everything about the hotel. It's a true 5-star hotel approach to the clients. I missed the opportunity to visit sauna and they kindly arranged it for me individually. Also it was great that my kid got a comfy low bed. This improved the quality of sleep for every member of the family.

We just stayed there for one night. The service was very good, the room was comfortable and clean, the hotel is located in the middle of this beautiful old city, the staff was absolutely friendly. Great place to stay.

Located in the very center, good size room, public parking at the reasonable price at daytime, free at night nearby. One of the receptionists spoke perfect English, another - not a word :)

Hotel was just ok, nothing special. Seemed rather dated for a 4 star. Room was spacious but old furniture. Restaurant on site but overpriced and limited menu and also closed on Mondays. Location wad perfect. Private parking. Decent wifi. Dogs allowed. Recommend but it needs an upgrade and slightly more attentive staff. Breakfast not included.

Got a large room with a big bathroom beside. Free WiFi included. Breakfast is good, a variety of bread, cheese, sauceges. Limited parking places, but in a silent street.

Clean and spacious rooms for families in cosy setting. Very good breakfast for the price. Good bicycle storage. Service in english is at the normal german level - does not quite exist ☺️ Strong recommendation for families on bikes.

Indeed a great hotel. Self check-in is available, which really surprized me in a positive way. The staff speak English flawlessly, so no need to worry if you would need German language. The rooms are 9/10 clean. The location is super too.

The hotel was perfect, it is in a peaceful area that surrounded by trees. The employees welcomed us with a smiling face, they are very kind and friendly. I find the room so comfortable and clean, yes it is a little small but compact and well-designed. I would definitely consider staying here on my next vacation...

The bed was horrible. In a small hotel like that a good bed for one night you are staying there is the only thing you need after a day's drive and this is exactly the one thing the hotel fails to deliver. A shapeless pillow and an extremely uneven matras were my accomodation for the night. On the bright side - the wifi worked (slowly at times), the room was small but neat, clean and rather space efficient...

My overall rating is excellent, because I enjoyed my stay. However, this place is no 5 star hotel. Obviously, it is not needed to be. It must be emphasized that all was clean, modern and functional. I was living in the Student Dormitory near by. My girlfriend visited me in Wismar so I booked this hotel because it was near to my Dormitory. Overall the service was great. The receptionist was very welcoming and the room was cozy. I would love to visit it again.

10 minutes away from A20 highway, very cosy, quiet and very, very clean. Ideal for bed & breakfast or when you need a break on your trip. There is just one disadvantage, but very important one - they can speak ONLY GERMAN. Very reasonable priced and very, very good breakfast.

+ neat rooms & furniture + nice staff + decent for just an overnight stay +/- you need to go to the reception for wifi +/- liked the breakfast but missed several things like hote chocolate, other breakfast options than bread, eggs and sausages, no juice - smells kind of weird - skylights (only windows in room) don't close themselves during/before rain as promised

We were there for lunch in a larger group. The menu is big enough, the focus is on fish dishes, but there is also meat and game. At the moment there are also some pumpkins on offer. The staff is friendly, the food came almost at the same time for all guests. Food was good, for my taste it could have been a little more spicy.

The hotel should improve on dust cleaning, hospitality and quality of breakfast ! We had a nice big double room for 114 euro inclusief breakfast. It's in the centre with free parking. We would come back if the hotel would act on the given feedback of other travellers. Unbelievable that the piles of dust were not swept. The person at reception is unpolite and not interested. Take your breakfast somewhere...

The schnitzel was delicious. And the duck was crispy from the outside, well cooked on the inside and very tasteful with those raisins and plums. Simply perfect.

Great location in the lovely old city of Wismar. Nicely decorated in a nautical theme with beautiful wood paneling. Quiet rooms. Nice breakfast spread and a good bar area for evening refreshments. Parking is conveniently located in a lot just behind the hotel.
