Where to stay in Wurzburg

The space, location and service were amazing. By far the best place I’ve stayed at in Wurzburg and it was relatively affordable.

Quite old building from the 80s which would need a renovation. Many choices for breakfast, but not always good quality (e.g. the cheese was cheap mass production)

As expected of a luxury hotel, the room was spacious and even had a bathtub, which is rare for a high-end European hotel. The breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. The only downside was that it was a little far from the station and the tourist center, but it was only about 500-600 meters, so it wasn't too much of a problem. I'd like to stay here again. Nice place to be in the middle of the center of Würzburg. Walkdistance to the city, fair prices also for the parking . Best matraze ever and also new design pillow - you will like it much. Fully recommentation .

Nice hotel with parking 12 euro. Located 10 minutes from downtown. Huge room with big bed and tv, and Coffee maler. Perfect bathroom and good solid breakfast. Only downer - the pool was closed? Because of Covid19, why? Other hotels have their pool open.

Hotel is fine but Wi-Fi is very poor. Only works intermittently and you have to keep signing in very often. They need to improve this problem urgently.

This hotel was great. I was a bit put off by the premiere inn affiliation but it was super nice and felt luxurious. Our time had a ton of space and a very comfortable couch. The restaurant food was very nice and the waiter was awesome! In the best part of town too.

Great location. The building itself is a little odd in that it is split up and you have to go underground and around to get to your room. The basement, elevators, and hallways had a very bad smell. You can tell they tried to cover it with multiple air fresheners, but it just smelled like dead rodent with a hint of potpourri. Luckily, our room did not have the odor and was very clean.

Unfortunately I can't give a better review because I was really disappointed. The room was dirty and needed to be cleaned. The construction in front of the terrace at just after 7am was obviously very bad. Not a word about it when we checked in. Only the breakfast was really good and the wellness area was also pleasant but the service was not good at all.

What an absolutely beautiful hotel! We loved this place and wished we had more than a one night stay booked. It’s beautifully done and sits over Würzburg where you can see the entire city. The breakfast was just what we needed before heading on to our next adventure and was amazing!

Very charming and perfectly located Hotel build on an old castle in Würzburg. The rooms are quit luxury and the food is delicious. Especialy the wine range is (which makes this city of Germany so famous for) great. The Hotel view is priceless, with a view over Würzburg and the illuminated Castle and city (evening) just on the other side of the river makes a stay all in all very confortable.

We stayed here for one night. The room was very hot and did not cool down at all. There is no airconditioning. Diner was great, breakfast was great, location was great, but the room was bad.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The suite was well appointed with a great view of downtown Würzburg. The service staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent, particularly the breakfast buffet.

This is a lovely hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely done. The bed was comfortable. The location was convenient, not far from the city centre - around 15 mins walk.

The hotel was recently built, therefore the building is new. It is not far away from the main train station which is a big plus. The staff were also preety friendly, English speaking and answered all of our questions. Breakfast is also quite good. We were happy with our 2 day stay.

Location is good with a 15 minute walk to city center, and just two minutes to a supermarket and bakery. Good price/value. We loved the modern rooms although the layout of the toilet, shower and sink was unconventional. Arriving by car is a bit tricky. The parking garage in the back means you don't arrive at the front door but signage needs to be improved just to find the parking garage.

Great location. The only thing they need to update their Google maps direction as it send you back behind the garage. Which is very inconvenient for first time or non german speakers. Rooms are very spacious, the bar staff at night are the best, very friendly, great drinks and "entertaining ". Highly recommend if you are in Würzburg

Check in Experience was great. Staff were friendly and professional. Parking was free, one needs to get the key card at the reception. Rooms were brand new. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom Amenities were really good and the shower was really Fantastic. Gym was well equipped. No pool. We went for drinks at the bar and even though it was busy the waiter/barman. It was impossible to sleep because every sound from the room above could be heard. Every step, the creaking of the floor – it was unbearable. I woke up irritated, and during the night, it was impossible to fall asleep due to the constant stomping overhead.

Wife and I spent 3 nights here Aug. 2022. The staff was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our rooms were typical "Euro small" compared to what we are used on in the USA, but -- as expected for Europe. Clean and comfy and zero issues. Fantastic Location right in the middle of beautiful Veitshöchheim! Free parking, excellent breakfast und super friendly staff. When I asked for a late check out as I had to join a video conference at short notice. That was not a problem. Extra ordinary, customer service!

I had a wonderful stay at the Wiesses Lamm. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect.

We had a comfortable stay. Our room was extremely clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent. We intend to return in the near future and will stay for longer to explore the area.

Nice personal but hotel rooms need some renovations

Clean but small room, they forgot to stock towels thou, which wasnt tragic but something i havent seen before, since towels are usually overstocked. Service was nice, breakfast variation was ok. The location requires some footwork if you want public transportaion.

Small but friendly hotel. Rooms very nice, clean and tidy.

Room is very clean, quiet, and with friendly reception. Location is perfect. Just across the central station. Although the room is a bit small, but it is enough for single person. only provide shower gel and towel, be sure to bring your own shampoo.( the supermarket is very near. Not a problem at all.)

All the people at the reception were very kind and helpful. The room was very comfortable, beautiful and clean. The train station is directly opposite as well as next to the pedestrian street. They offered us water in the room as well as help with luggage. I highly recommend it!!!

The rooms are a bit dated and the lack of air conditioning made the room a bit unbearable in the heat we experienced. The staff were really friendly and they did give us a fan (for a 10 euro deposit that you get back when you return the fan) which did help a bit. The rooms are basic with no air conditioning. No toiletries but the shower is nice. No outside ramp so you have to carry bags up 7-8 stairs. There is an elevator once inside. Staff is convivial.

I stayed here one night while traveling to Austria. The hotel is very nice with clean rooms and nice beds. Breakfast was very extensive. The village Veitshöchheim offers a beautiful Rokokogarten with an impressive palace.

I was there for Breakfast. Reception was very nice and accommodating. The food was very good, gave something of everything from salmon to fruit and wurstbsehr much of a choice

Was on 24.01.2015 there for tea. No special offer at just under five euros for a pot of tea, but you get a pleasant ambience and a good Cup of tea in a fine pot and Cup. Can I recommend it!

Again we were here for the family Advent weekend. The warmth and hospitality leave nothing to be desired. We are very grateful that we were able to spend this weekend here. We'll definitely be back next year.

Very nice location with excellent and warm service. On top of that comes the special atmosphere. A small oasis for body and soul.

Nice place for having a little rest

It's quite away from city center. You will only find nice vineyards and open fields, rather traffic or road. The accommodation is quite nice, don't expect something great, but very comfortable. The breakfast was good too, with lot of options to choose from. They have honest cafe, so you can have late night snacks or beer. All together, quite good place.

Really basic and old, but nothing that will prevent you from having a decent night. On the positive side there is a good internet connection and good shower.

I showed up in Würzburg having no idea where I'd stay or anything. The gentleman at the front desk was MORE than helpful. He let me stash my bags in the lobby and even though my room wasn't going to be available until after 1:00, he provided me with a towel and key so I could take a badly needed shower. The City Hotel Meesenburg is close to the city center. It is affordable, located within a few blocks to the church; whose bells ring on a regular basis. That was a treat which I enjoyed from the hotel rooftop. The front room provided me with views of daily life transactions.The walls were not well insulated against noises from other guests. Central, good location by the Main and good breakfast included. The room can be a little cold but there are extra duvets available.

Easy and cheap, we have a three bed room which stayed Tightly, and with the Windows open relatively loud. But clean and with a private small bathroom. Overall, everything was very on in years, but the price/performance and location is okay. Breakfast was also mediocre.

Hotel central, clean, staff not very friendly. The room on the second floor, without elevator, with a shared bathroom. The breakfast is fairly low. One night in a double room for about € 75.

We stayed here for two nights. Overall the visit was okay. The room was clean but a bit narrow. The breakfast was as expected considering the price. The biggest issue we had were the toilets on the corridor without soap (some on them even without a sink)

Have spent a night in a Central Hotel. Room 404. Small, renovated but functional and clean. Breakfast very good, everything available. The house is located very Central, car Park at 50 m distance. Adventurous Park way in the house, you must have seen.

The Hotel was good.Due to the Central location, it was in 5 minutes in the old town. From the train station it was about 15 Min. walk. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. To recommend for a Short city trip. Price-performance fit.

Clean, uncomplicated, inexpensive, overnight stays with dogs possible and one street away is the Main with paths along the riverbank. Würzburg can be reached quickly by car. Parking spaces directly in front of the house. A small downside: the breakfast is already pre-portioned, so a selection is not possible.

Clean suite and just next to Rococo Garden for a Morning Walk!

I stayed here for a week while working in the area. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The owners /managers are friendly and helpful in answering questions The breakfast is ok, but more variety would be nice. There is a parking lot, but it is only a few spaces There is free parking at the end of the street. I will stay here againagain if I'm in the area.
