The only reason I am giving any star is because of the location.
Amazing view from the room.
But, the room is extremely small. Basic amenities like kettle etc. are missing. And it's also a lot weird that 3 to 4 times room service people opened the door while I was inside. This incident woke me up once. Found it quite scary and unprofessional too.

Stayed here for three nights. Rooms are small but that is the norm for older hotels in Europe. The location is excellent with a beautiful view of the fortress and Kappele on the hills across the river. Staff are friendly and professional. Breakfast in the morning is a self-serve of fruit, baked goods scrambled eggs, bacon with coffee machine. Vending machine has water, sodas etc but there is a small store a couple blocks away with more items. Great value for money

Rooms are average. Service is decent. Breakfast options are not that great. Nothing to complain though. A good deal compared to price tag. Location is priceless. Always opt for a room with castle view.

I am not even a guest of the hotel. I am a passing tourist in a boat that was in need of receiving a Amazon package. I asked Walfisch hotel if I could recieve it at their adress. Jonathan at the reception showed the outmost service friendly manner, very courteous, "yes" mindset, right person in the right place when not just helping me to get the package there but also letting me use the lobby for work. Highly recommend this hotel just by the sheer friendliness of the staff.

Decent hotel in a great location- good buffet breakfast, great service from all the staff. We were there in a heat wave and the a c was not quite up to it, but we were on the 4th floor so could open windows. The location is right next to the river, across the river from the Marienberg fortress and near many other historic sites, close to many restaurants and lots of stores. The tram line has a stop very near the hotel.

Nice view for sure. Is on the city center. The rooms are small, the AC dosent work, 5 ° or 30° is the same. The wifi connection is a mirage...

Nice but expensive rooms. Great location near river Main. Ask for a room with river view. On occasional hot summer days, the rooms can get uncomfortable as air conditioning is not efficient. Overall a nice and comfortable small hotel in Wurzburg, Germany

Parking was interesting, but the staff helped us find the garage and were very friendly. Restaurant was busy, there was even shagpile carpeting in the room, which was small but adequate. Mini bar was well stocked and reasonable.

Nice rooms a bit old though. Book in advance. Location is great. View is magnificent. You can see both Main and the fortress.

Room was small and a barely worked. But room was cool are night and staff very friendly. Restaurant must be nice we never ate there because never a table. Nice location. Garage is nearby but very small
