Very good family experience and not far from airport, or santo domingo for those that want to venture into the city, or bring your family over.... it is a good retreat for resting, the food is dominican, and it is in the best spot in the boca chica beach.

The staff are friendly and the pool and beach are clean. My room was large and comfortable and the food has been some of the best buffet style hotel food that I’ve had while visiting Santo Domingo. Unfortunately, the hotel seems fairly outdated and my bathroom was dark and needed repairs.

Beautiful property in great location but it shows its age. Many hallways and fixtures in disrepair. They offer a premium dining service that is not that much different than the regular buffet. Yes the building is dated, but the staff is hospitable, the outside terrace and pool are well maintained, and the breakfast is wonderful with variety of selection. We decided to book another night due to our next location (strange communication and payment method), and will consider again for the price point in Santo Domingo and the Dominican Republic.

We needed a hotel to spend the night after a late arrival at the Santo Domingo airport. And everything was perfect. Check in at midnight without any problem and a delicious full Dominican breakfast in the morning. Decent rooms with air conditioning that could be regulated correctly. Recommended.

My opinion is that the hotel in general is good, there's something about the smell of humidity of the halls and the rooms that should be improved.

This place have excellent location but needs renovation special in bathrooms and balconies and needs to update the tables and chairs in the restaurant most of the chairs are broken the service staff are very good.

The property has a really great seaside location that also backs onto some bars and other ammenities. The Italian owner runs a tight ship with the place clean and tidy. He's also an ex chef who's happy to serve up some great cuisine and share a bottle of red and a chat. Definitely recommend.

I only stayed one night and has a great Caribbean experience: waking up to the sound of the sea (you can sleep with an open window, no mosqitos). The hotel staff is friendly and rather informal.

Very nice beach. I liked that there were a number of local folk who were enjoying the beach as well as tourist. Great sandy beach, with ample sitting areas (as long as you are eating or drinking from a nearby establishment). Water wasn't too rough the day that I was there.

I went for 10 days with my family. However my father is in a wheelchair and we had booked a handicap room. When we got to the room, it was the furthest thing from it. The room was old, falling a part and a below average sized room. the wheel chair couldn't even fit into the bathroom. So we called front desk, and they managed to find a new room. When we arrived at this new room, it was beautiful....

Overall is decent, with two minor downside, Internet isn't free 10 dollars per day is the fee and only one login is provided, and power outages. I experienced one power outage , while i was asleep my wife told me there were two more outages , not a big deal to me but had to mention it.

A real honest review: This resort is really nice if your trying to have a chill week. The rooms are exactly what the photos on the website look like, the food is a huge buffer with a lot of selection. My stay here was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious, the room services were great, beach was great, and it was an overall fantastic experience. This resort is only worth visiting for the beach and landscape, otherwise in terms of service, rooms and food it is a complete mess. Excelent service, the hotel has a beautiful colonial design, and they have personal 24 hours for everything you need, breakfast and tasty hot coffee early in the morning. And they gave me access to the rooftop to make yoga. Definitely I would like come back every week.

The room is relatively large, and the table/mats are good; the bathroom conditions are relatively poor, and the quality of paper towels needs to be improved.

It's a very old hotel. The lobby feels great, but the decoration in the room is old and the smell is very obvious. The air conditioner is too strong and the sound is loud. The beauty parlor is a little bit expensive... Theres wifi ... Is a quietplace you can go to chill and eat, drink with friends or w/ur family.... Its a excellent place for a wedding :)

The property was great, but my bed had a hole in it and because I was already set up in the room I didn’t complain about it I didn’t want to move anywhere else. I got an upgrade for the Sweet. For $130 extra and Walk in to a hole in the bed and a broken fridge put some food there and my food got spoiled because the fridge doesn’t get cold enough to hold some food. But the staff was great.

Decent Place Front desk staff were rude. But the restaurant staff and manager went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. The room was huge but really stay here for access to the gym. Its free access to a really high end fitness club with all amenities included
