The Boat House

Don't recommend going there as a tourist. We were brought there by people abd sat at the beach which seemed nice in the beginning as the people seem nice and friendly. However it's just a facade. They want to scam you and steal your money. The Bill was double as expensive as what was on the menue. The fish which we order should cost 950 pesos. However, later they wanted 1600 pesos and argued the price was per pound. (Nothing stated about that on the menue and it was not even a pound; small fish..)
Price was all over double as much!! We had to argue. We won't go there ever again and do not recommend it to anyone.

Food was ok. Nothing spectacular. Drinks were ok. Nothing spectacular. The bill was spectacular. Had a $20 fish plate 2 beers wife had spegetti no meat for $12 dollars each had a mixed drink for 8 dollars. Bill came for $104 after the $22 charge to use a card and the added beach tax and added tip. My advise? Keep walking. I speak spanish and they got me.

I'm rating the restaurant and not the rooms. I use to love this place and I actually have given it great reviews a couple of years ago on TripAdvisor. I just went 2 nights in row since I'm in town. Worst bartender I have ever seen. She doesn't serve you. She makes mixes and juices and completely ignores you. She looks at you and does not come over. I had to ask if she was the bartender. Two nights in a row. The food here was always good. I had the worst cheese sticks I have ever had and the next night I got a cold pizza. I just asked them to put it back in the oven to heat it up. They don't have a pizza oven. They don't even have an oven Just a microwave. The pizza is not even made there. It's delivered. That's why it was cold. I just requested my bill and of course, the incompetent bartender did not charge me correctly. My days of visiting this place are over.

Completely overpriced. Payed 35$ for 4 small French fries + water in plastic bottles (no glasses). They insisted to have a minimum consumption fee end asked even for 60 $!! Tourist fraud.

I requested and got a table. Never got a menu, and was completely ignored. They randomly gave me a beer that I didn't order, that I had to return, before I gave up on being served and left.
