Not what we’d hoped for. The reviews made this place sound like a hidden gem, but it was just a low cost hotel in a dodgy part of town.
The room wasn’t great. It didn’t feel super clean (there were hairs in the bed and a stain on one of the sheets). The “beach view” we paid extra for was a tiny sliver of water beside the building across the street. And for some reason there is a window with no curtains between the bathroom and the bedroom. It might be fine if you’re staying alone, but it’s not a welcome feature if you’re with someone.
However, the morning staff was super friendly and helpful (enough to take this from two stars to three). There is a parking lot nearby that gets locked up at night. And the small pizza place a few doors down was amazing.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the past and I have actually given it several positive reviews online until my experience today. Today I went into the hotel at 1:15PM without a reservation.I spoke to the girl at the front desk and she informed me that there were several rooms available. I agreed on the price and the room wanted. When I began I to pay, the girl stated and if you want to pay an additional $20 dollars I can let you go in the room now. She said check is not until 3PM so the room is not available. 😂 So this woman thought it would be better for me to book another room at the adjacent hotel for the same $75.00. It is not her money and she could careless about the owners bottom line it customer service. I booked next door and they didn't try to nickel and dime me out of $20 bucks. I got my empty room right away . I won't be back.

I really enjoyed my stay at Vicentina hotel! The location is right in the center of Boca Chica, beach is across the street, million of restaurants around, the hotel is new and super clean 👌 the bed was comfortable and I slept so good in there (that's super important for me!) Also the stuff is very nice, the front desk girl Aime was so sweet and helpful, and the owner Michael is a super cool guy who can help you to find the right places to have the best time for yourself. Oh, and the prices are so cheap I was suspicious at first that a nice hotel couldn't cost that little, but nop, it's actually existing 🫶 will definitely be back for a weekend or so ( I am a solo traveler).

We didn’t like staying at boca chica very much… feel like the tourism culture is not so good. People were just tryna get us to cough up as much money as possible :(
But the hotel is very nice and clean. No complain. We only stayed one night - the last day before we fly early the next day. We had to check out super early but there was no issues at all. Very helpful and kind staff

Great hotel in the wrong location. That part of boca Chica is in bad shape. Conner of street full with garbage just on the street.
After 8 pm, the whole street changed to like some type of nightlife. The businesses put tables and chairs right in the middle of the street. And I saw a good number of women
That no mistake were like selling their body?? That was very confusing.
So, I just got in the hotel, and I could not hear any of the outside noise.
That was very good.
So, it was a great hotel in the wrong street. I will say.

This place looks nice but the service is lacking for the price! They don't clean your room or bring you clean towels unless you request it Really! The breakfast in the morning is terrible and so is the coffee! I will never stay there again unless last resort!!

The best hotel in Boca Chica. I stay there four times. Location is the best walking distance from all the restaurant and the beach. Very clean, great stuff, good breakfast, looking forward to visit again.

Clean hotel about one block away from the Boca Chia public beach. Secure front door and automated air conditioning that is activated with your room key card. Made to order two eggs or omelet breakfast included.
