I stayed at Villa Taina for 4 days and had a fantastic experience. My room was on the first floor right in front of the pool, and the beach was absolutely beautiful. The staff were super friendly and always made sure we were having a good time. Great location, amazing service, — I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

Velero truly is the best here in the DR. we are on our honeymoon and unfortunately booked somewhere else originally that said they were a 4 star but was a 1 star, & Velero saved our honeymoon. Nicely nestled away from the noise in Cabarete, this great gem of a location is ideal for more relaxed and quieter getaway. Not to say it doesn't get traffic. Also has a restaurant on location and is close to many other options, including a supermarket a 3 minutes walk away. Rooms are clean and well equipped, with the junior suites being my recommendation. My favourite getaway on the north coast.

The team at this hotel goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is amazing. The food at the restaurant on site is outstanding highly recommend the mixed grilled seafood and they make the best coffee ever worth a trip just to get a cup!

Service is great, the place is well kept, the pool is great and the beach has an area you can use on low tide in front of the restaurant that we enjoyed very much. The view from the restaurant is great. Definitely Would come back.

Spent a week here in March 2024 and had an absolute blast. Rooms were clean and in great shape. Our room had AC, not all rooms do - something to keep in mind. The closeness to Kite Beach, with Kite Club Cabarete right next to it was great. Where they were really helpful launching and catching the kites. And Kenneth the portier was really helpful taking our luggage to our room, giving us tips on where to eat and where to buy food for the room. If we had any questions he gladly answered them.

Stayed just after hurricane Fiona and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is very modern and comfortable and everything was functioning. Just a couple of constructive comments: you almost had to be a body builder to open the sliding glass door (apparently needed lubricant) in 223. Love this hotel. It's a Cabarete jewel. We've stayed at the Millennium many times. Always beautiful, peaceful, clean and great service. My husband it's a surfer and when he goes to the surfing beach. I can stay on my own and rest at the beach or at the pool. It's the perfect beach for kite surfing too. Next time planning to take some lessons. There is school next door. I highly recommend it.
