Regarding the resort the staff are very friendly and are eager to assist the guests. We cannot complain about the staff and Eduardo provided us additional. assistance as we had an elderly relative with us for 2 days

The complex is also beautiful and right by the ocean. But you really Need to know that the ocean is very wild most of the time so be careful with kids! What really disappointed me was the food

This location is in a busy part of the town. My goal was to stay in the resort and relax which I did. I have family in the Dominican Republic and we purchased a stay for them as well

That also made it very uncomfortable for us as at every turn there were smokers, especially by the bar area as they parked themselves at most of the tables/chairs by the bar so that they can have easy access to the alcoholic beverages while smoking

We couldn't enjoy two full days of the resorts amenities of which we paid for in our weekly reservation. If travelling to this resort, please ensure you check in Sunday after 3 pm and check out Friday at noon

You will enjoy all the resort has to offer, but please do not waste your time booking on the weekends. I further wanted to add that this resort is a smoking resort. There are no areas marked as non-smoking

The service was five star in our visit and we can’t wait to go back. We also learned that Kite Beach is famous for windsurfing, attracting a lot of foreigners who practice the sport because of the waves

And anytime I had a problem/need/request (how the dishwasher works? How can I get tested? I need extra towels!!) I picked up the phone, and right away they solved it

The apartment we got was amazing: every detail was perfect (for example, in the kitchen I could find every single pan and utensils I needed), super clean, and the terrace with jacuzzi on the rooftop was a dream

This spot is a gem! There is secure, gated parking on premises, the rooms facing the water have panoramic windows and views of the ocean and are big enough to accommodate a family and then some

I gave it a shot and it was a workout but it was fun. This resort is also centrally located among many outside restaurants and clubs that are in the area and close to Puerto Plata airport

Service is great, the place is well kept, the pool is great and the beach has an area you can use on low tide in front of the restaurant that we enjoyed very much. The view from the restaurant is great

I booked Velero Beach Resort for a bachelorette weekend with my girlfriends. The resort offered a penthouse suite that was well-priced and accommodating

The hotel itself is located at the beginning (or end) of the main strip of Cabarete. The beach was clean and we were never bothered by vendors as the hotel beach is blocked by rocks and barricades

The atmosphere is vibrant and exciting, and I can’t wait to return for another visit. Highly recommend Velero Beach Resort for anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing beach getaway!

Very precious apartment! But the AC in our rooms didn't work, Lucky for us that the living room AC was so powerful that we just had to leave the bedroom doors open!! Apart from that great place and very nice location!

Our apartment had a good size kitchen for those who like to cook their own food from time to time while on vacation. The two bedrooms and living room area were spacious

We had a 3rd floor apartment with a spectacular terrace ample enough for many to enjoy the view of the ocean

But walking by the beach a person pointed at us with a shot gun literally less than 2 mins away from the hotel and it was very scary and will not do that walk again - something we really enjoyed as it was the path to Encuentro - a surf spot we love - so keep that in mind if you like to walk in nature around the property

Great place for a 'get away from it all vacation'. lots of yoga meditation and massage available here also good just to visit the fantastic restaurants directly on a semi private beach. Great food reasonable prices

Great, rustic place right by the beach in Cabarete. If you get the Ceviche, just make sure the fish has been sufficiently "cured" by the lemon juice. Had to send mine back to get cooked a little extra

The cabanas mostly seemed like a 30 second walk to the beach. Note: if you do a day pass, it is required that you pay in cash for the spa and restaurants to take advantage of the discount

What a great idea to go here, it really was a spontaneous booking to travel up to Cabarate, but here we found relaxation, romance, great places nearby to eat if we didn't want to eat the hotel food, though there's enough to keep you going if you just want to stay put

Dinner at the restaurant was outstanding. Breakfast and lunch were solid and very good. The lemonade mint ginger drink was phenomenal. Lovely views of the ocean from the restaurants and yoga shala

The complex is private, clean, quiet and perfectly accomodating. The walking distance from the beach and private pool makes it a dreamy place to vacation

After traveling in the island for two weeks, we were welcomed by Renee to the luxurious appartment and felt right at home. She was an amazing host and we loved every second we spent there

Tom and Renee are the most nicest and friendliest hosts with so much knowledge and information on things to do on the island and close by. Very safe with 24 hour security on grounds

My room card stopped working at 10 pm and their reception was closed. I called many times and no response. Had to climb up my balcony to get in to my own room, or sleep outside

There's a bigger one with fully equipped kitchen and living room, or 2 brm apt also. The noisy street is far and blocked of so only thing you hear are the waves of the ocean. The beach doesn't have safe swimming

You need to go down a few hundreds yards. But that makes it more private Supermarkt is right around the corner and really nice restaurant a few steps away. The main beach bars are a few min walk

This place is WOW! It is the nices place in town hands down. It sits right on the beach, has beautiful garden, pool and 2 jacuzzi. I hot the 1 br without a kitchen

Charge an extra buck or 2 in the reservation and give free coffee in the morning. You have to walk pretty far to find a good cup of coffee. I would recommend this place as the best place to stay in Cabarete

Just a tip**the hotel location on Google maps isn't accurate, you have to walk until the end of the road after turning in where the "El Magnífico" sign is. Otherwise, the place is absolutely paradise. 🤙🏼

Quite, locations. Next door to Janet supermarket ( read the expiration date on the food from there) Clean rooms Clean pool. Only down for from me in there's no washer and dryer in unit.

Super conveniently located right in the kite launching spot. The staff is very nice and helpful. Room was spacious enough to manage all the kiting gear. Next to the Kite Beach Club which is a great plus.

You can take a long nap and absolutely nothing happens to your stuff or you at the beach! It's close to the center of the beach town a good 20 mins walk on the beach to where the kite surfers and regulars restuarants / shops

This locations is excellent if you looking for peace and quite! I really enjoy the hospitality and how the resort workers cater to your needs. Very low key no heavy party nor feeling insecure

There are 2 pools, an infinity pool next to the ocean, and a regular pool in the middle of the resort. The infinity pool was a great place to watch the surf. Beach was pretty, but hard to swim because of surf and rocks

We left our stuff at the pool area with the sense of security and return nothing missing! Also so far away from the street vendors and heavy public foot traffic which is a plus

It is very close to the beach and it is silent also. When you cross a reception it looks like paradise ☺️

It LOOKS nice at first glance though and I respect the owner for doing dog rescue. There are so many dogs that roam the streets and beach here

The front borders a busy road, and isn't particularly appealing from the outside, but the rooms and bungalows are set further back in an oasis from the busy area. The owner is very friendly and accommodating

I recommend this place ☺️ The owner is good man who helps injured dogs. You can meet calm nice dog in reception so don't worry ☺️. Rooms are clean and staff is very nice people

Great hotel, excellent location, fair price. It isn't a luxury hotel, and you shouldn't book expecting that, but it is great for what it is

good peeps and super chill neighbourhood! This is great place to enjoy the Caribbean and chill! Good surf almost every morning and a huge beach to launch a kite in the afternoon breeze! The river 5 mins down the road is epic for kiting so if you like to ride this might be the place for you! 🤘

My girlfriend and I were excited to be hosted by Peggy at Brisas Doradas, the place is out of the beaten path yet secure. The beach is a 2min walk away and you can get to town in a zinch

I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for more of a hotel to stay at rather than a resort. Nice and close to Cabarete's beautiful beach

Amazing place, really good value for your money and close to everything, Digby and Anna are excellent hosts and Anna's breakfast are just what you need to get you started in the day, the rooms are clean and well kept, you can also enjoy the pool in overall a place that makes you want to come back

Peggy had some awesome food recommendations of places to visit (yum. she has some cool spots but I will not spoil the surprise) She also made us delicious breakfast which was a great way to start our daily adventures

Room: Condition is always good not humidity with pan. Wide Glass window allowed to enter sunshine brightly. You have small kitchen/ refrigerator so you can cook in room. It's so comfortable enviroment for holiday
