The entertainment is so fun and they provide a variety of things to do such as dancing, bingo, beach tours, etc. , especially when you come with a group! The food is good too, with a lot of variety

The kite surfing beach is great but waves might be quite a problem for a beginner

The drinks were great, and the service was great; welcoming us to the buffet, the bar, and around the pool! There were lots of fun poolside activities and dance lessons which was so fun!! Definitely recommend! We came start of May and it wasn’t too busy and was absolutely beautiful!!

Velero truly is the best here in the DR. we are on our honeymoon and unfortunately booked somewhere else originally that said they were a 4 star but was a 1 star, & Velero saved our honeymoon

First: I RARELY leave a 5 star review on anything. I think it’s cheesy and just makes readers think it’s fake. But Maravilla Eco Lodge deserves it. Beautiful well done elegantly rustic tree house style accommodations

Spent a week here in March 2024 and had an absolute blast. Rooms were clean and in great shape. Our room had AC, not all rooms do - something to keep in mind. Food was great, don’t sleep on the pumpkin soup

You have to like it - do not expect 5* All in Resort feeling. For nature lovers like us, it was perfect. [Service] It’s a small hotel with not many rooms and a personal service

Great, rustic place right by the beach in Cabarete. If you get the Ceviche, just make sure the fish has been sufficiently "cured" by the lemon juice. Had to send mine back to get cooked a little extra

Dinner at the restaurant was outstanding. Breakfast and lunch were solid and very good. The lemonade mint ginger drink was phenomenal. Lovely views of the ocean from the restaurants and yoga shala

But walking by the beach a person pointed at us with a shot gun literally less than 2 mins away from the hotel and it was very scary and will not do that walk again - something we really enjoyed as it was the path to Encuentro - a surf spot we love - so keep that in mind if you like to walk in nature around the property

The cabanas mostly seemed like a 30 second walk to the beach. Note: if you do a day pass, it is required that you pay in cash for the spa and restaurants to take advantage of the discount

What a great idea to go here, it really was a spontaneous booking to travel up to Cabarate, but here we found relaxation, romance, great places nearby to eat if we didn't want to eat the hotel food, though there's enough to keep you going if you just want to stay put

Enjoy a massage or exercise if you like. What a treat in a retreat! Would definitely visit again. Reception has the sweetest lady Rosa or Rose, she is a great start to the trip

The service was five star in our visit and we can’t wait to go back. We also learned that Kite Beach is famous for windsurfing, attracting a lot of foreigners who practice the sport because of the waves

And anytime I had a problem/need/request (how the dishwasher works? How can I get tested? I need extra towels!!) I picked up the phone, and right away they solved it

The apartment we got was amazing: every detail was perfect (for example, in the kitchen I could find every single pan and utensils I needed), super clean, and the terrace with jacuzzi on the rooftop was a dream

This spot is a gem! There is secure, gated parking on premises, the rooms facing the water have panoramic windows and views of the ocean and are big enough to accommodate a family and then some

I gave it a shot and it was a workout but it was fun. This resort is also centrally located among many outside restaurants and clubs that are in the area and close to Puerto Plata airport

We stayed at Cabarete Palm Beach Condos for two weeks in November 2024. We have travelled to many different Caribbean islands over the last 20 years and this condo was our favorite

We loved the location (right on the beach), condos were super clean and the staff was amazing. Walk out your door and many restaurants on the beach within a 5 minute walk

We stayed in unit #202 with awesome view of pool & beach! The only thing I can think of that needs some attention is hot water heater, enough hot water for one person

The people that work here are terrific. The property is very clean and located in a great spot on the beach, and in walking distance of many good restaurants

People who work there were exceptional. Very polite, accommodating, and clean. The location is centered on Cabarete beach facing the ocean just awesome

Great hotel, Close to the beach and to town, but far enough away so you don't hear the noise at night. Tom and Renee are amazing hosts and will go out of there way to ensure you have everything you need

This place was so beautiful! 2 mins walk from the beach, with all the amenities - drinking water, AC, laundry etc

The complex is private, clean, quiet and perfectly accomodating. The walking distance from the beach and private pool makes it a dreamy place to vacation

After traveling in the island for two weeks, we were welcomed by Renee to the luxurious appartment and felt right at home. She was an amazing host and we loved every second we spent there

Tom and Renee are the most nicest and friendliest hosts with so much knowledge and information on things to do on the island and close by. Very safe with 24 hour security on grounds

Now you pay a deposit and you get credit for food/drinks. The beach and pool were still nice and relaxing. The food we did get was good also. Still work going to for a relaxing day

This place is very nice, clean and reliable. My husband and I stayed for 6 days and it was beautiful. We also loved that we felt safe and the customer service was top tier! 10/10 recommend.

Its ok, but sucks when someone passes by with their car stereo blasting, The microwave was not working, and they were quick to bring us another one. Over all we are happy with our stay

Some things are a little run down in the apt we stayed in like the windows dont seal well and you can hear everything outside

Price was really cheap so we thought it would be ehh but quite the opposite! Front of the house staff was great, check in was quick, they gave us a 1 PM checkout and allowed us a 30 minute courtesy window as well

Splendid hotel, incredible nice staff, nice restaurant and the location is just perfect, you are in the middle of Cabarete, but no noise at all, the access to the beautiful beach can be easier

We love the easy access to the beach, bars, and restaurants, as well as the town center amenities as well. For us being at Villa Taina is peace of mind as well as it gets us out walking everyday

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. The town itself was a bit noisy and stinky however as long as you book beach side, you are fine. not sure I spelt her name right

Excellent location for being in the heart of kite surfing!!! Super amiable staff, right next to a couple of beach eateries and in the mix of all kite folks hanging out, really cool even for us wanna be kiters! I especially loved the spotlessly clean room! Great value for this hotel!

The closeness to Kite Beach, with Kite Club Cabarete right next to it was great. Where they were really helpful launching and catching the kites

The staff is amazing and so friendly – everywhere we went people were great and you cannot beat the location. Perfect place for kite boarding – winds were great while our visit

You can take a long nap and absolutely nothing happens to your stuff or you at the beach! It's close to the center of the beach town a good 20 mins walk on the beach to where the kite surfers and regulars restuarants / shops

This locations is excellent if you looking for peace and quite! I really enjoy the hospitality and how the resort workers cater to your needs. Very low key no heavy party nor feeling insecure

There are 2 pools, an infinity pool next to the ocean, and a regular pool in the middle of the resort. The infinity pool was a great place to watch the surf. Beach was pretty, but hard to swim because of surf and rocks

We left our stuff at the pool area with the sense of security and return nothing missing! Also so far away from the street vendors and heavy public foot traffic which is a plus

There's a bigger one with fully equipped kitchen and living room, or 2 brm apt also. The noisy street is far and blocked of so only thing you hear are the waves of the ocean. The beach doesn't have safe swimming

You need to go down a few hundreds yards. But that makes it more private Supermarkt is right around the corner and really nice restaurant a few steps away. The main beach bars are a few min walk

This place is WOW! It is the nices place in town hands down. It sits right on the beach, has beautiful garden, pool and 2 jacuzzi. I hot the 1 br without a kitchen

Charge an extra buck or 2 in the reservation and give free coffee in the morning. You have to walk pretty far to find a good cup of coffee. I would recommend this place as the best place to stay in Cabarete

Just a tip**the hotel location on Google maps isn't accurate, you have to walk until the end of the road after turning in where the "El Magnífico" sign is. Otherwise, the place is absolutely paradise. 🤙🏼

Quite, locations. Next door to Janet supermarket ( read the expiration date on the food from there) Clean rooms Clean pool. Only down for from me in there's no washer and dryer in unit.

Very precious apartment! But the AC in our rooms didn't work, Lucky for us that the living room AC was so powerful that we just had to leave the bedroom doors open!! Apart from that great place and very nice location!
