Be ready though the hotel electrical grid sometimes runs on the generator, so that if your room is facing it, it might be quite noisy for quite some time

The hotel sits in a good place to venture out and eat. The far end of the beach has many restaurants near ojos a nice club. Just have some small denomination in dollars to tip and get things done

It mostly depends what you are looking for. For a no frills kite surfing vacationer it's a good place for the money. Even if you come with the family

The entertainment is so fun and they provide a variety of things to do such as dancing, bingo, beach tours, etc. , especially when you come with a group! The food is good too, with a lot of variety

The drinks were great, and the service was great; welcoming us to the buffet, the bar, and around the pool! There were lots of fun poolside activities and dance lessons which was so fun!! Definitely recommend! We came start of May and it wasn’t too busy and was absolutely beautiful!!

Great experience! Our servers, greeters, and all the workers are extremely welcoming and want to make sure you are enjoying your stay

Our first floor room sliding doors didn’t lock and and within 3 minutes of calling the desk, Jendy came and fixed it immediately. The pool is clean and cute and attached is a bar and restaurant that is open all day

I stayed at Villa Taina for 4 days and had a fantastic experience. My room was on the first floor right in front of the pool, and the beach was absolutely beautiful

Price was really cheap so we thought it would be ehh but quite the opposite! Front of the house staff was great, check in was quick, they gave us a 1 PM checkout and allowed us a 30 minute courtesy window as well

Splendid hotel, incredible nice staff, nice restaurant and the location is just perfect, you are in the middle of Cabarete, but no noise at all, the access to the beautiful beach can be easier

Velero truly is the best here in the DR. we are on our honeymoon and unfortunately booked somewhere else originally that said they were a 4 star but was a 1 star, & Velero saved our honeymoon

They got us a room immediately & were so kind to us. Great resort, great prices, gorgeous views, on the beach, amazing pool and staff, great restaurant services. We would absolutely book here again!! Highly recommend!!!

The hotel itself is located at the beginning (or end) of the main strip of Cabarete. The beach was clean and we were never bothered by vendors as the hotel beach is blocked by rocks and barricades

Nicely nestled away from the noise in Cabarete, this great gem of a location is ideal for more relaxed and quieter getaway. Not to say it doesn't get traffic

Also has a restaurant on location and is close to many other options, including a supermarket a 3 minutes walk away. Rooms are clean and well equipped, with the junior suites being my recommendation

My family and I loved every minute of our stay in maravilla Eco lodge, Robert made the checking very easy, beautiful place well maintained, we loved our bungalow beach front you can jump right into the pool from it the kids loved that , comfy beds everything clean, peaceful environment Marc and the staff were very welcoming thank you so much!! Spent a week here in March 2024 and had an absolute blast. Rooms were clean and in great shape. Our room had AC, not all rooms do - something to keep in mind. Food was great, don’t sleep on the pumpkin soup

You have to like it - do not expect 5* All in Resort feeling. For nature lovers like us, it was perfect. [Service] It’s a small hotel with not many rooms and a personal service

The swimming in front is really nice, but do it before the kiters come out at 4:00!!!! I'd say this is an ideal place to stay if you're a kiter, the kiting community is strong here at this corner of the ocean

A little noisy with the street noise, but overall a good room for the price. There's a nice patio to sit and watch the kiters and a really nice open restaurant and bar next door that we ate and drank at a lot

Everyone made this stay the best one yet. I had no issues and everything went smooth. The shuttle bus was very convenient. And the restaurant had many foods to offer. Pools are very clean and it is a very quite resort.

The location should have been closer to the city. You must have transportation for outside shopping, restaurants, etc. The location is secluded, but nice if you want to just stay in one place

Let’s start with the positives: the area *looks* a little sketchy at first glance, but it’s actually quite nice once you settle in. The vibe is laid-back, and the staff (for the most part) are friendly and accommodating

Now, onto the not-so-great stuff. The furniture in the rooms is *very* dated—like, Ikea 2001. The pillows were dirty and rough, and the sheets felt like they hadn’t been updated since the resort was new

I ended up using a shirt as a pillowcase because I just couldn’t deal. Note that cell coverage is limited and the rooms do not have phones in case of an emergency. Parking was another headache

When we here there alot of your guest had late evening flight just like me and wanted to check out later then 10am which is to early! Overall I had the best stay at your location!! Thank you 😊

This locations is excellent if you looking for peace and quite! I really enjoy the hospitality and how the resort workers cater to your needs. Very low key no heavy party nor feeling insecure

There are 2 pools, an infinity pool next to the ocean, and a regular pool in the middle of the resort. The infinity pool was a great place to watch the surf. Beach was pretty, but hard to swim because of surf and rocks

We left our stuff at the pool area with the sense of security and return nothing missing! Also so far away from the street vendors and heavy public foot traffic which is a plus

You can take a long nap and absolutely nothing happens to your stuff or you at the beach! It's close to the center of the beach town a good 20 mins walk on the beach to where the kite surfers and regulars restuarants / shops

We've stayed at the Millennium many times. Always beautiful, peaceful, clean and great service. My husband it's a surfer and when he goes to the surfing beach. I can stay on my own and rest at the beach or at the pool

Excellent hotel, resort and spa. Massage was wonderful. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The kite surfing views are amazing. Over 20 kites in the air at the same time. Amazing!

We just stayed for 4 nights and really like this spot. Perfect for people like me who want to kiteboard while the wife sits by the pool drinking fresh pina coladas. Friendly staff, great onsite restaurant. No complaints.

It's the perfect beach for kite surfing too. Next time planning to take some lessons

I have disabilities but could have used the stairs in the hotel except for the fact there are no railings. I may have had quite a difficulty if the electricity was out or if there was some other emergency

The manager who welcomed us was extremely helpful, friendly, and greeted us with a big smile. Although we were in the villas I'm sure the experience under her management is great.

Definitely a place worth checking out. The only downside is it is not cheap. Swim in the ocean or in there pools, or just have a drink under a palm tree and listen to the waves slowly wash away the burdens of the world

Dinner at the restaurant was outstanding. Breakfast and lunch were solid and very good. The lemonade mint ginger drink was phenomenal. Lovely views of the ocean from the restaurants and yoga shala

But walking by the beach a person pointed at us with a shot gun literally less than 2 mins away from the hotel and it was very scary and will not do that walk again - something we really enjoyed as it was the path to Encuentro - a surf spot we love - so keep that in mind if you like to walk in nature around the property

What a great idea to go here, it really was a spontaneous booking to travel up to Cabarate, but here we found relaxation, romance, great places nearby to eat if we didn't want to eat the hotel food, though there's enough to keep you going if you just want to stay put

Great, rustic place right by the beach in Cabarete. If you get the Ceviche, just make sure the fish has been sufficiently "cured" by the lemon juice. Had to send mine back to get cooked a little extra

The cabanas mostly seemed like a 30 second walk to the beach. Note: if you do a day pass, it is required that you pay in cash for the spa and restaurants to take advantage of the discount

This place has a specific atmosphere, some things are little bit older and they should be repaired but it s really cool place to hang out in the middle of palms, flowers and beautiful garden not far from busy beach and centre of the town

However, when we had someone get sick (In the DR, use bottled water for your safety even with brushing your teeth!) housekeeping was alerted and they turned in the AC. Truly an inexpensive week in paradise

A good restaurant on site that serves some native, some German, and other dishes (I believe it’s owned by Germans who visited for the many water sports and fell in love with the DR

As it is a hostel and priced well, they only allow the air conditioning on in the evening. Most Dominicans live without AC. You’ll want to be out and about during the day anyway

Be forewarned! You too may choose not to leave. ) Half a mile to a grocery store. The beach is about a mile away. Frogs sing you to sleep at night

The new Beach "Hostel", is directly on the most beautiful beach in the DR. Everyday the beach is changing his face; a dream. I am the neighbor!

There is a full kitchen in the units in case you are in the mood to cook or hire a cook to do it for you. The pool is located right in front of the water with a bar/restaurant nearby

And anytime I had a problem/need/request (how the dishwasher works? How can I get tested? I need extra towels!!) I picked up the phone, and right away they solved it

The apartment we got was amazing: every detail was perfect (for example, in the kitchen I could find every single pan and utensils I needed), super clean, and the terrace with jacuzzi on the rooftop was a dream

The service was five star in our visit and we can’t wait to go back. We also learned that Kite Beach is famous for windsurfing, attracting a lot of foreigners who practice the sport because of the waves

This spot is a gem! There is secure, gated parking on premises, the rooms facing the water have panoramic windows and views of the ocean and are big enough to accommodate a family and then some

I gave it a shot and it was a workout but it was fun. This resort is also centrally located among many outside restaurants and clubs that are in the area and close to Puerto Plata airport

Everything from check-in to check-out was fabulous. The condo was clean, daily housekeepers were wonderful, the ladies in the reception were fabulous, and the night security friendly

We stayed at Cabarete Palm Beach Condos for two weeks in November 2024. We have travelled to many different Caribbean islands over the last 20 years and this condo was our favorite

We stayed in unit #202 with awesome view of pool & beach! The only thing I can think of that needs some attention is hot water heater, enough hot water for one person

We loved the location (right on the beach), condos were super clean and the staff was amazing. Walk out your door and many restaurants on the beach within a 5 minute walk

The people that work here are terrific. The property is very clean and located in a great spot on the beach, and in walking distance of many good restaurants

People who work there were exceptional. Very polite, accommodating, and clean. The location is centered on Cabarete beach facing the ocean just awesome

This place is WOW! It is the nices place in town hands down. It sits right on the beach, has beautiful garden, pool and 2 jacuzzi. I hot the 1 br without a kitchen

I would like to see them upgrade the mini fridge and the tiny flat screen, but this is my go to place on the north coast. A on site pool bar would be cool also.

The location is good, the grounds are beautiful. The penthouse is unbelievable. The only negative thing is they should serve coffee by the pool at breakfast

There's a bigger one with fully equipped kitchen and living room, or 2 brm apt also. The noisy street is far and blocked of so only thing you hear are the waves of the ocean. The beach doesn't have safe swimming

Just a tip**the hotel location on Google maps isn't accurate, you have to walk until the end of the road after turning in where the "El Magnífico" sign is. Otherwise, the place is absolutely paradise. 🤙🏼

Location x 3, views of ocean everywhere. , roof top jacuzzi, pool, ocean breeze, ice cold a/c, modern decor, comfortable beds/pillows, spacious. Not too close or far from town

They provided beach towels, fresh drinking water, and parking in front with good security

Very precious apartment! But the AC in our rooms didn't work, Lucky for us that the living room AC was so powerful that we just had to leave the bedroom doors open!! Apart from that great place and very nice location!

Our apartment had a good size kitchen for those who like to cook their own food from time to time while on vacation. The two bedrooms and living room area were spacious

Manager was very kind and super helpful. Pool was beautiful, room was very cute. Super quiet and only a few people on the grounds. For the price given, it was more than enough. We loved it!

When Cabarete didn’t have running water for a few days, our house was not even affected :O The pool is awesome and almost never crowded

The complex is private, clean, quiet and perfectly accomodating. The walking distance from the beach and private pool makes it a dreamy place to vacation

Great hotel, Close to the beach and to town, but far enough away so you don't hear the noise at night. Tom and Renee are amazing hosts and will go out of there way to ensure you have everything you need

Spent in this hotel 4 months - 3 in apartment and 1 in a room. Great botanic garden, great stuff, safe place, nice pool. Room wasn't extra, but it served, apartment was cool - spacious, 2 teraces

What makes this hotel stand out is that it is close to the main drag and beautiful gardens around the pool for great effect. You will pay less if you don't make reservations

It was very spacious and we loved the private BBQ and outdoor dining area. The unit and grounds around the pool were very clean and well maintained. Great value for central cabarete!
