We had an amazing stay. The food was delicious, the front desk staff was friendly and professional, and the cleaning staff kept everything spotless. Casa Hemingway is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beach is lovely! The food at the hotel restaurants is just ok (though the view from Embarcadero is stunning) but there are a lot of great options in town. Renting a car would have been helpful as it’s a little hard to get around if you want to do any tours. That being said I would definitely come back- with a rental car next time!

Wow, what a stunning hotel. The rooms are huge with multiple rooms, bathrooms and a balcony. The service is very personal. The food is delicious. The beach and pools were breathtaking. The restaurant in the beach was an experience you will want to have over and over. A must-have if you're in the Dominican Republic.

Close to the beach, nice rooms, had a great atmosphere but kept their interior cooler than an Ice box. Staff was very friendly.

I’ve been to many hotels and resorts in Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, and the United States, but I’ve got to say this has got to be one of my favorite boutique hotels so far. The staff was sweet, always welcoming us all-around. There was a wedding going on when we got there, which was cool to watch. We had the horse stables right outside our window. Very walkable area, we got to use the gym a few times. Very peaceful area, perfect for us for celebrate our 2nd anniversary with sun, beach, drinks, and pool in a relaxing setting. Liked the location close to the Santo Domingo airport too, so we got to enjoy Santo Domingo and this resort in one trip. Highly recommend!

This hotel was beyond my expectations. The rooms are way bigger than the photos can show. The moment i walked in i loved it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If i could give more stars i would. Man and don’t get me started on their beach. The view was amazing, the service was amazing. I only ate at 2 of the restaurants because i kept going back to one of them, which was out in the ocean, everyday. Lol overall this hotel was exceptional. I will be coming back again. Hopefully sooner than later.

The infectious amount of mosquitoes was out of this world. It was unbelievable. I was transferred to another room in the middle of the night, and it did not get better. I tried to make the it threw out the night. I was given even a electric racquet to kill of the mosquitoes. I was doing that until 3am. On top of that a pool of water accumulated in the living room from the air conditioning leaking water. My wife slipped and fell because of that. We had to wait until 9am to speak to a manager. At this point all we wanted was our money and to get out of there as soon as possible. Worsts hotel experience I have ever had. Thank God I contacted my credit card and told them of the situation, because they actually tried to process my payment. But where denied because of the call I made to my credit card provider. Avoid this place If all possible. And if you do stay bring “Off” products to so you are prepared to go to war with a swarm of mosquitoes in your room.
