I stayed in Hestia Hotel Haapsalu Spa to work on an assignment and it was brilliant. The room was exceptional with inspiring sea view and the leisure activities gave my brain some rest when it was needed. The place was pricey, but worth it.

Pros: - Good view and location - Rooms look fresh and clean - The SPA area is nice - Breakfasts are hearty and delicious, but the coffee is too simple Cons: - Don't have basic things like a kettle and a fridge and it was not an Economy room. - In my room (even after changing to another standard room), there were problems with the air conditioner, which made gurgling noises when running, so it couldn...

We loved this property so much that we extended our stay. Rooms.are well appointed and comfortable. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Spa treatments were lovely. Easy walking to nearby cafes, restaurants and some shopping.

Ideal location for the hotel. Near the promenade, the old town, the marina. The hotel rooms are simple but clean. Good WiFi. The spa complex was nice. Breakfast is rich. There was no problem with parking. We had a wonderful holiday.

A gorgeous location and a nicely re-done Hestia. The surroundings really invite you to go for an evening walk. Spa was very busy and some maintenance could be done (birch branches had very little leaves...) but all in all a high standard Estonian spa. Loved the mud facial and steam rooms! Nice view, great outside pool and spa. But the pools didn’t look very clean so I just enjoyed the outside views from the pool. A lot of people as well. Hard to find a chair to sit and sunbath. Breakfast was nice and they had an option for a dinner as well. Room was not the best. Good place at all, next to the beach.

Fantastic experience in Fra Mare, as usual! We are visiting this resort for the last 20 years and it is always a nice and relaxing holiday. The treatments in the spa are tailored to your needs, the food is always freshly prepared with plenty of choice, the staff is very attentive and friendly, we particularly liked Sille and Galina, their attention to details and care was amazing, and very kind hearted...

I liked the outdoor swimming pool, breakfast and dinner were very good. Nice terrace and location. Two hot saunas, others were warm. But we had a really pleasant time with family.

Lovely time spent in this hotel! Saunas and swimming pools are very good made, rooms are on the choice of your budget. However, the shower was broken, and the shower curtain could be clean. It's all okay, just really 90tees... so if you're feeling nostalgic, you'll love this place. It is situated in a peaceful nature, though having a nice walking distance to the Haapsalu centre. I may suppose that the best here might be the medical treatments that I didn't try, so my experience is limited by the hotel, water SPA, and restaurant ( I totally recommend to go to the town centre for the dinner

Finally I get my quiet vacation. This place is very good, and no, it is not about luxury, it is about atmosphere. Location is so good. SPA located almost in the forest near the sea. Dog friendly accomodation just next to sea with very helpful stuff. Higly reccommend to get the room with balcony and sunset view! Rooms and balconys should use bit of upgrades and one of the rooms a curtain. Otherwise basic but solid. Nice courtyard seating area between the 2 hotel buildings.

Everything is great, for the price. Staff is wonderful, rooms are neat and well kept, view from my room is great. The only tiny gripe i have, is that my specific room had nearly no free electric sockets and having more than three devices needing a charge, it was a bit of a hastle. A very cosy and nice place in a beautiful town. The room was just as expected. There is a nice yard to have your morning coffee and enough of parking space. We got an amazing view for a very reasonable price. The receptionist was very polite and helpful.

Haapsalu is a nice place to visit. The hotel is okay but a bit outdated, especially the restaurant. The breakfast items didn't taste fresh. Our bed was small with too small blankets. Good view and friendly staff though.

Suitable for an overnight stay, not for a vacation of several days. The environment is lovely, but there are also drawbacks. Creaking floors, creaking window hinges. Recommendations to friends are not given there

We've rented the small cottage in the yard twice and it's very nice. Central, but quiet, two separate bedrooms.

Only stayed one night...but wanted to stay longer as it was soooo lovely. Great decor, very clean, lovely garden, great local walks, and Kristal (the owner) was a welcoming host. Go there!

Lovely welcome and just absolutely top room. Hostess is very friendly with lots of information. Breakfast is simple but very tasty. Definately recommended!!

Living conditions are good. But the neighbors are too quietly loving. If someone has a loud voice, then you shouldn't stay here.

Very nice view over the bay from the balcony. Big enough rooms, though a bit too basic. Great breakfast on a big terrace with a lot of choises.

Considering the price, just 5/5. Nice host, clearly hunting crazy. A big plus is the common living area on the terrace, fridge, kettle and even coffee/tea:) The rooms are clean.

The room was enough clean and correct. The bathroom is shared. There were not a lot of rooms, so the turn was not a problem but the shower was not drain well.if you are not with your own car, the transportation may be a problem. Amazing food! Everyone got super delicious dishes with very nice ingredients. Service was friendly and prices affordable. Located in the heart of Haapsalu's gorgeous old town. And they have a terrace!

Great location right in the old town and by the castle ruins. Inexpensive. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Downside: mattresses are extremely soft, no breakfast, loud music until 2am (on Fri and Sat night).

Hermannus Guesthouse is located on the main street in Haapsalu, just next to the castle. The Guesthouse has three hotel rooms that are situated on the 2nd floor of the house looking over main street. ▶️On the entrence floor you will find Herman Bistro & Bar. Accommodation- nice treat, personal service and excellent breakfast (amazing porrage, egg-bacon muffins, bread with ham, cheese, coffee etc). Room no 2 is good size, although facing the main street, it was very quiet. Highly recommended.

It is a very good guest house. The people are kind! They care about your stay, and you will feel this in every corner of the house. I enjoyed my stay with family a lot.
